Yeah, you are in. I don't know how the game orders participants, it isn't alphabetically or chronologically. PITA to search trough when our league grows.

Sounds great, I'll give it a try of course now when I can chose whomever I like and not just some poor bastards that I actually own in Sorare. I know you are taking Sorare quite seriously and playing it regularly so feel free to share some tips on the road to world cup.

Game has just been pushed up to the net, it isn't even finished yet. Lots of players missing, understandably so since we are still getting line ups from different countries. There was always accompanying app and I expect one to be this season as well. Will probably go live in a day or two.

Yes, some injured players are still included and final nominations + all countries should come soon.

Doesn't really matter since I believe that you can sign for the league until 02.12.2022. check the promo page. And you will all be able to see yourselves in the league when scoring starts.

Bear in mind, I have already asked Sportsbet to provide some sort of typeform on promo page which will be used to link Fantasy accounts with Sportsbet accounts. Same as they had for Premier League Fantasy. You will all need to fill that up when available. Will let you know here don't worry.

If "1miau" doesn't show up in your list, I've obviously used the wrong link to sign up.

For anybody else who is concerned, just make sure to make the team and participate in the game. You can always join the league at later moment and have all your points auto transferred.

Okay, I just did that. Would you kindly check your master sheet to make sure I'm completely on the pool? I can't see any members, and when I joined, it was blank. Does FIFA not allow for username changes? I registered using my forum surname, but I'd like to change it now, but I can't seem to find an edit button anywhere. this is going to be large and competitive

yeah, it is kind a different to have to own the cards you are playing, but also gives you ownership over your decisions

back to topic, WC is coming over in a week, and teams are scripting, smelling some surprises due to teams having few days to play around before start, and some teams will not be at their best

is there a team with several (more than 5) players from same time, thought about it, but did not checked all and found it, it could make difference to have more players playing together because there is no time

Heads up guys, that type form we were talking about is now live on official promotion page. So go visit Sportsbet.io and take care of this last step. This is necessary so that Sportsbet can pay out the rewards.

Here is also part of my article that has gone live on Sportsbet this morning. Maybe some of you can use this info as well and are too lazy to go check it.

For this first instalment I will focus on difference between this game and Premier League Fantasy. Biggest and most important difference is manual substitutions. That means that we can manually substitute our players that performed poorly with players from our bench. That also means that bench players are much more important in World Cup Fantasy and that you must have all 15 players good enough to be in the first 11. After that it is just a task of rearranging bench in a way that you put on it all the players that have they fixtures towards the end of particular Match Day. Same goes for our captain, we can change him if we are unhappy with the points our initial captain got us.

Did you guys enter your teams? Any players that are sure to be included in your draft? I know I am having Messi in my team for sure as one of the premium picks since everything in Argentina goes trough him. Same goes for De Bruyne and he will probably be my premium in midfield while I will look to save some money in defense. For instance we have Borna Sosa, just 3.5M, really attacking left back for solid Croatia side and he should be first team starter.

There is a lot of rumors going around that Quatar bought 1:0 win in the first match so be careful when betting on this one. Not really interesting teams from Fantasy perspective so I will just skip those two teams.

regarding mine squad, I think that some prices on Fifa are fan base adjusted, not sure why some France team obvious bench picks are valued more than starters in some other teams

It is confirmed, he was supposed to come with them and maybe play after the groups but now it has been confirmed that he needs surgery and he will not play a single minute on this WC. Argetnina also lost two players trough injury but nobody really high profile that would make our teams anyway.

While we are on Argetnina topic, they choose student housing for their base instead of hotel. Reason being they brought 900kg of meet for barbecue from Argentina and that is only place they can freely barbecue apparently. Team spirit and cohesion will be high for them

This Fantasy is a bit different and it allows you much more tinkering with your club. You can manually substitute players from first 11 with your bench options each day. It is quite complicated for somebody who never played Fantasy before. To make things worst, FIFA is still making changes to the rules and players. It is difficult for me to stay on top and I am playing Fantasy every year for last 7 years. People that are making Fantasy videos on youtube as their only job can't agree on some of the rules. They are really poorly written and FIFA screwed this World Cup and all accompanying features properly. We are going into off topic here but I just read that there will be no beers served inside stadiums. Really curios how one of the bigger sponsors Budweiser feels about this newest decision by Qatar officials.

My best advice is that you drop by Sportsbet clubhouse chat in one hour (7PM GMT). I have my weekly Fantasy session there and this time topic is World Cup Fantasy. There is usually a mixed bunch of veterans and newbies present and I am sure you would get a lot of great info.

FIFA updating its fantasy game rules two days before the start ain't perfect, to say the least. We did get some clarification on the wildcard and captaincy rules, which were needed given how badly worded they were, still are.

I think i'm almost there with my team for MD1, just a few close calls to decide tomorrow, bear no further rule changes/surprises.

is that for alcocholic beer, or for non-alcocholic as well (Budweiser 0,0 should be allowed, not that I am a fan of that)

regarding rules, yeah, there is a lot of difficulties with rules, and it is just one-week gap from usual club competitions, so that could be expected
and players are priced pretty different to Sorare for example, some top premiums there, are low ranked in Fifa
