I'm so glad I didn't miss this guys! I've joined , did my team , found the link towards the League and I'm good for first game tomorrow.

A quick look at my team :

They are not the best but they are a very fast team.

FIFA updating its fantasy game rules two days before the start ain't perfect, to say the least. We did get some clarification on the wildcard and captaincy rules, which were needed given how badly worded they were, still are.

I think i'm almost there with my team for MD1, just a few close calls to decide tomorrow, bear no further rule changes/surprises. 

When I clicked on the "Wild Card" option and selected a player, the "Boost" option disappeared. Can anyone explain if it is considered applied now or should I activate it somehow? Now I do not have access to this menu, in the upper left corner where this choice was, the player whom I selected as a wild card now hangs.

I'm not sure if you're referring to the wildcard or the 12th man boost. You can't use the wildcard in MD1 since you (everyone) already have unlimited transfers, which is essentially the same thing as a wildcard.

If you meant the 12th man boost, once you pick a player and click confirm, you can't make any further changes.

Are you aware that per current rules it should be possible to activate wildcard as soon as MD2 begins and use it for all the transfers, then use it again before MD2 finishes to remove all the players that played and keep their points while actually taking your pick of players for GW3. So with one wildcard we actually have free transfers all the way to quarter finals. Stupid, right?

Only for alcoholic of course, but if you ask me and probably vast majority of football fans, non alcoholic beer isn't actually a beer, isn't it?

That is probably because you can only use one booster per MD and once you activate it you can't cancel it. At least that is the stuff that is written about, haven't tried it by myself yet.

I didn't want to be too fancy and try to be too smart, so I made sure I got points from Kane (vs Iran should be pretty good right?) and I even put Trent in, bonus because he's a def but he'll probably be played in midfield

I went for 4-3-3 wanted to even go 3 defenders but then budget doesn't allow for a good squad anyway.

All done, not gonna tinker!

You really think Trent is gonna play? Southgate only called him cause James got injured, he doesn't like him at all for defense and usually plays with two defensive midfielders as well. Would really like him to take a bit of risk and to try and attack weaker opponents but don't think we will se that. I really don't know this until I just read your post, some of the rules a very terribly worded or explained, I really want to be very sure about this and it's not just another mistake from their end because, If there are some pretty cheap games towards the end of MD2 and worthy for MD3, I will definitely go that route of Wild Carding in MD2 with that approach, because that's having an advantage of 11 additional players points for that game day, but I'd like to be sure if it's that how FIFA actually meant about it, what about the captaincy too ? will the captaincy double points remain too ? and I don't even know if more than one chip can be used in a single MD.

Does anyone have better interpretation of these rules or some other website with better explanations, please ? And we are actually just less than 15 hours away

Yeah kane is supposed to get points against Iran but TAA is one person i doubt will start. I feel Southgate trust Trippier more and he his also on setpiece duties. I think both him and Shaw will be Southgate starting fullbacks but we will have to wait to see his team

No, I don't actually heh. I put the Fantasy in World Cup fantasy =p

None of the predicted lineups I've seen even has him, Trippier's for sure ahead of him but my genius shadow brain says, if he does play, Southgate's gonna slot him in when it's still 0-0 to gamble in 2nd half and, maybe he gets a freekick goal and an assist.

In other words, I'm taking a big risk for MD1 (Kane's not even in my team, but my 12th man boost in case he makes a hattrick haha), and relying on some subs to make up for it if I don't get it right.

It is not that difficult, you just click on the link on promotion page and then fill typeform afterwards. I can't check typeform for you since don't have access to it. You will be able to check fantasy league by yourself when scoring starts. Applications are accepted until 02.12. so if you are not just apply again. Not gonna check manually any more since there is way too many participants and i don't feel like scrolling trough several not sorted pages every time.

Just make sure your team is set up for the first game and points will transfer.

Yeah that is the correct one. But I really just answered pretty much all you asked in post just before yours. Applications are open until 02.12. and you have to fill in the form on official promo page over on Sportsbet.

Benzema out is actually quite unexpected and maybe it already screwed with somebody 12th man chip. Not much time left until the first game, just about 3 hours.

Unbelievable first half of the game, Valencia of Ecuador gets 3 goals but VAR was at it again to disallow the first goal which leaves the captain with 2 goals to his name what a start...with this performance we are looking at a minimum of 12points for his fantasy score, possible hattrick is on the card's. I wonder if we have players that have picked any of these lads for their fantasy team

Of course, there's always that odd manager that selects underdogs for his team, so I won't be shocked if Valnecia was selected and given the captaincy. He already took a knock in the first half and was fortunate to still be on his feet, thus I believe he should be taken off to prevent more injury. His role in this game is already done; it's up to his teammate to maintain the outcome or do additional harm. In regards to the first goal, VAR was accurate.

Well I have a Ecuador goal keeper in my team so there are those points at least if this stay as it is. I wanted a cheap playing keeper and there isn't any cheaper than Galindes at 4M. Don't know why since Ecuador kept a clean sheet in last 6 games. And they play on a first day so plenty of time to sub him for anybody else.

Well yeah some people would probably pick Valencia but I doubt that anyone would give him the captain band. How much does Valencia cost though? probably not as high as the other top striker so if any player actually put him on the draft then it would be alongside some other expensive striker like Kane so low chances that Valencia is taking that captain band

 My first exact result ( superbru, FIFA 1x2), very good team Ecuador, breaking the statistics, the organizer loses the opening game for the first time.

But Pope is not playing, he is third choice behind xxx and Ramsdale. There is very we playing 4M keepers, one is Galindes and the other one could be Rochet from Uruguay. But I had a guy from Ecuador on my Fantasy chat and he said he is sure Galindes will be first choice so I trusted him and always had backup in case it doesn't work.

Damn, people behind this game are slow, they have updated points for just 2 players so far.
