When it comes to business, appearance and demeanor play an important role. however, you have to adjust your appearance to the job you want and the same goes for when you are doing business with clients or with investors. this aims to show how important appearance is to become a successful businessman. because when running a business you have to serve clients, build networks, strengthen relationships, and be a leader, appearance and demeanor are aspects that are as important as business skills.

Even though not everyone has business instincts like successful business leaders, we are all capable of showing our best. but not only appearance, skills and abilities are part of the factors that are equally important.

In work, the requirement to look attractive is not to see how beautiful or handsome the candidate is. but to see the seriousness of job applicants. if the job applicant tries to look attractive, dress neatly and so on during the interview. then it proves that the job applicant has tried to give a good impression of appearance.

it's different if when you dress according to your wishes with a disheveled appearance, surely the employer will think you are not intending to and are not serious. related to the points you convey, it all depends on each individual.
and for point 6, at least he must try to look neat and have a good attitude. then he can show his skills and qualities during the interview session.

Know that there are dress codes for work for every environment there are four types: Business formal, Business Casual, Casual, Uniforms. Remember that not just your clothes are important, there is making sure that you are groomed.

Also, they said when in Rome, dress like the Romans or something like that.
While some organizations emphasize that one must be formally dressed for an interview, some other organization say tech do not have any hard or fast rule to it.
If I were a hiring manager, I would definitely consider dressing in my hiring decision if it is stated in the interview invite. It tells about the personality of the potential employee.

If you turn up for an official job looking like a rockstar, you have of course reduced your chances of getting the job if it was you want. If it was a job where the staffs dress freely because of it's unofficial nature, then appearance may not matter when you are being interviewed for a job. Dress and appear like the position you want.
