Do you consider appearance in business and employment?

I never truly believed this, it just doesn't make sense. I mean if you are a great worker, do you really need to look good as well? Look at Steve Jobs, dude wore a jean, a turtleneck and a new balance shoe and made billions of dollars selling products that wasn't even his.

That is why I believe that it’s not really important to look like a businessman, not everyone needs a big business suit like three piece or something, that just doesn't make sense, sure look clean, nobody would like to work with someone who smells and has odour coming from both them and their clothes, but at the end of the day it’s not going to be really that much of a big deal what you wear.

When you start to go into the business world, the main thing to look at is the neatness of your appearance. There you will find meeting sessions with clients and decide on the terms of cooperation that you agree on. Many people think that appearance will give good results at the beginning of the meeting. This is applies if you work in an office and choose the path of diplomacy with business partners.
However, when you choose to work in the field and keep the office system running well, your appearance will only be demanded to the point of tidiness. Conversely, when you wear clothes that are neat, clean and smell good, it will create an impression of confidence when conducting open or closed meeting sessions, the office world will always demand neatness in dresses.

However, appearance often deceives someone in doing work, because not necessarily those who dress neatly are able to work according to the needs of the business or office where they work.

But in todays era or society then there would be lots of people who are really that are easy to judge on the way you dress, without even knowing you yet then they could really make out those conclusions

or bad impressions basing on what you do look and on the time that there are things that they do discover behind that man then this is where it changes up.

First impression does really last until they would see that dude that they've been frowning upon is someone whose better on different ways.
I agree into the point that its enough on making yourself to be clean but not totally be extravagant on how you do show yourself into the public.

I imagine this would be a requirement of the job itself. Appearance is an essential element in everything related to human communication. If you work in the field of sports, it is better to be an athlete in order to be more convincing to the group.
If we take into account the relative specificity of the concept of beauty, then the appropriate appearance must be present in every place. However, bearing in mind that the construction worker will have a decent appearance with clothes that confirm his profession better than a uniform that imparts a mysterious symbolism.
There are many academic investigations that study the influence of appearance in business. Almost all of them emphasize its importance.

If ethical issues are concerned, ofcourse. It is a sense of professionalism. To some, appearance has something to do with performance but it would really emphasize work ethics or even boost employee's sense of workload and task related concerns.But I disagree with discrimination concerning employee's uniform. At the same time, indeed it would boost one's confidence to perform his/her job. If it is employment which is concerned, it would be a plus ofcourse to recruitment team because putting effort with your attire means devotion with one's work and goal, so it would really play a huge role with employee's character.

In all handicrafts or that require physical effort, clothing is considered part of the work process because it is supposed to be comfortable and appropriate to the nature of the work in addition to its protective function and symbolism through its colors and labels on it. Persons responsible for human resources in most companies attach importance to the appearance of employees, as it reflects the level of the company in which they work.
With regard to administrative jobs, it may not have the same importance because it carries aesthetic importance and prestige, and its change will not affect work or productivity.

It is good to look nice and attractive but looking down on people that you feel are not well dressed might not be the best option.  

Don't judge people by their outward appearance, maybe behind someone's outward appearance that looks normal, there are many advantages in them. For me this is a moral message, don't judge a book by its cover.
Appearance is a reflection of one's personality. Now try to reflect on yourself, how other people see the way you look. Dressing neatly is a form of self love, this can be seen from the outside through your appearance, including the way you dress.

If you are an extremely talented and famous person like Steve Jobs or CZ or even Vitalik Buterin, your style still attracts a lot of people but they will not be able to comment or judge you because you are more talented and brave than them. But if you are just a normal business person or do jobs that have to communicate a lot, meet customers, partners... then the way you dress will affect your work somewhat. Just looking at the appearance can not fully assess a person's character and ability, but it will show your respect for the other person.

Depending on what kind of appearance we are referring to. If physical appearance (beauty/handsome) is not really necessary especially if you are in operational field like in in factory producing different products, that most probably hiding their face in mask (for hygiene and protection). If  and individual are in the field where you need to to showcase your beauty, then its needed. But overall, i thinks its not necessary to have a very distinct physical appearance, but having a decent, organize appearance (in clothing, hygiene, etc.) is needed for ones business and employment.

Most people will see that the brain contents are in accordance with the appearance, of course this is a natural thing because of the appearance like magic that can make anyone deceived, for us of course we must be careful and do not be lulled by appearance, because it is proven that appearance is often different from reality.

Appearance is always considered in a product that the company wants to market or sell to the public. Because without attractive packaging and a better appearance, the product will be very rarely in demand or sell well in the market.

So, those first appearances, you have to impress the person you talk with. Like for trying to get a job, the interviewer. It's common to have a dress code and you need to be at good appearance to impress them. Although, there are interviewers that don't look at the dress code and appearance but more of the skills you have that's appropriate to the position.

But, most of them which is the reality are looking on its importance.

We can't deny the fact that in all fields of life, people will always judge us based on our appearance. The way we dress up has a huge impact on how people will treat us or respect us especially in business and employment. If we'll dress properly, clients and customers will be able to address and trust us easily. If we'll dress unrespectfully, it will be hard for us to earn the respect and trust that we need at work. People will always base their level of respect toward us based on our physical appearance.

If we are going in offices or we know we are meeting some clients then it’s a protocol to make ourselves presentable. It will depend on what kind of job we have. But as a employee if there are certain dress code then better follow it  since there are rules in that office. I was able to go in office in my 1st job were corporate attire is required while in my previous job it’s not required as long as you finish your job well. It will depend on what work or business we are doing.

But definitely, it’s always better to dress properly whether it’s required or not because that will also help you gain respect from others seeing you’re in a presentable appearance. Although I have not experienced this because our company always require to wear our uniform, but in other companies that i come to see, it’s always a good impression to dressed well when you come to work and always wear with a smile too.

Well, I believe the quality of your work is all that matters than wearing high class suits. However, if you are an employee of a big and popular company where wearing appropriate dress is highly required, then you have no choice but to comply with it. I agree that performance at work is a primary concern, but I still want to emphasize that appearance is equally important. You can't compare with top talent like Steve Jobs and he's already a leader so he can wear whatever he wants but for us just employees or ordinary business people, it's completely different. Today, when life becomes modern, people pay great attention to the outside appearance, it can be said that it is the first measure for others to judge us.

I disagree highly with this and to think appearance being "equally" important? No way. I just believe that Steve Jobs wasn't wearing a suit and a tie when he wasn't leader neither, and according to movies we saw him, dude didn't even care about his personal hygiene and that’s at the bare bottom, okay maybe take a shower, that’s personally important too lol.

So, what I am trying to say is that, if a person is good, they are good, and what they wear or how they look will have absolutely 0% importance, and I do not mean even a slight bit, literally not even 1% matter, ZERO matter, it's unimportant. What they can do for the company is the key here, because if they do make you money, then you cannot fire a profitable worker for their looks, you possibly can but that would be idiotic.

Employers tend to hire good looking but less capable people instead of capable but shit looking.

It is good to look nice and attractive but looking down on people that you feel are not well dressed might not be the best option.  

When it comes to business, appearance and demeanor play an important role. however, you have to adjust your appearance to the job you want and the same goes for when you are doing business with clients or with investors. this aims to show how important appearance is to become a successful businessman. because when running a business you have to serve clients, build networks, strengthen relationships, and be a leader, appearance and demeanor are aspects that are as important as business skills.

Even though not everyone has business instincts like successful business leaders, we are all capable of showing our best. but not only appearance, skills and abilities are part of the factors that are equally important.

In work, the requirement to look attractive is not to see how beautiful or handsome the candidate is. but to see the seriousness of job applicants. if the job applicant tries to look attractive, dress neatly and so on during the interview. then it proves that the job applicant has tried to give a good impression of appearance.

it's different if when you dress according to your wishes with a disheveled appearance, surely the employer will think you are not intending to and are not serious. related to the points you convey, it all depends on each individual.
and for point 6, at least he must try to look neat and have a good attitude. then he can show his skills and qualities during the interview session.
