Well yea, I think the same with Croatia but when we take a closer look to Marocco team and what they achieved so far , I think it's fair to say that they deserve 3rd place as well.

For me , it's hard to favorite one of these two , but I would like to see a penalty shootout between them as this is kinda the only way to have a well deserved winner as so far. However, I think Marocco deserves more than Croatia this 3rd spot as they sent home both Spain and Portugal...

While Morocco has been the revelation of this World Cup which surprised everyone which is fan of soccer with their performance I think that Croatia will have a narrow in today and my bet for today since it had a really high odd of 2.12 yesterday when I put it is both teams to score no.

I also think that if Croatia does not win we will most likely be going to penalties which will decide which team will be 3rd and 4th but if we go to penalties we saw that Croatian team never missed one against Brazil so most likely they are going to get the 3rd place if we end up in penalties.

I think its a shit game, for me this game doesnt have to exist. Because if you are a player, with how many force do you play this game? Its not at the same level to a competitive one.

Asides of this i think Croatia will win, for what i said above, Morocco team can go back to the normal, they lose that extra energy bring by make the impossible, or being the cinderella.

It depends a lot. For me, and for I'm sure a lot of people who know they will never live to see their country go far, this is going to be something special.

It's not just about size of country either. Like the press likes to point out, it's about the shit your country's people has to put up with on a daily basis. I know Moroccans if you are a normal guy your life is daily fighting, so sometimes, you have a day to celebrate your football team playing, you love it.

The players will also feel so connected in Morocco's case, but they are too tired and injured to make a difference I agree this is Croatia's day.

I personally think that 3rd Place Games are pointless and shouldn't be played anymore like in the European Championships.

Really hope Argentina can win this tomorrow anyway was nice joining the pool and will surely join again if there is another competition.

I think that croatia has more experience in this kind of matches.They know how to play big games but this one isnt important as much. But still its to be third in the world i think we can expect lots of goals from both sides and i think croatia will take the win aswell

We have more experience for sure, we actually played 3rd place play off match in 98' and won it, while this is the first time for any African nation to get this far in World Cup. We still have about 8 players that played in final game in last world cup so experience is definitely on our side. But this Morocco side showed a lot and was much more dangerous against France than we were against Argentina. Really though match to call so I will be waiting for line ups and then put some money on team that has less injury problems.

There is some OK level teams in Asia which currently don't qualify to World Cup and would benefit from expansion of tournament. Uzbekistan, UAE or China for example. They're better than weakest UEFA teams. But they would struggle against mediacore UEFA teams. Kazakhstan example shows it well - they never had real chance to qualify to major tournament through UEFA. Considering extra WC slots for AFC, I wouldn't be surprised if they will consider to return to Asian confederation.

Yeah, it's generally higher-quality when your national players play in better quality clubs, and AFC clubs are very weak in that respect outside of the ones you already know have deals to train with clubs outside, better infrastructure etc. I still think the it's sometimes a different proposition when national teams who play together a lot play against better ones that don't train together a lot.

Also because of formats, shorter tournaments like WC do benefit the underdog more -- a small sample of games, get a team overperforming for 2/3 games and you get out of group stage at the expense of one or two big teams.

Winner will be the team who is more mentally strong, but win for Morocco would be history for all African national teams.

If mental strength to be considered then Croatia to win, if motivation to consider then Morocco is going to win. No African team ever did it to make even a semi. Taking it to the third place will be the greatest of all for the people of the continent. Morocco team knows it. But judging at the type of game Croatia play, I think it could be a match where we will again see a tie breaker. Although in the pool I had different thought LOL. Let's just hope that it's not boring match.

Croatia likes to play against attacking teams and Morocco is very defensive oriented, so this match is mystery for me.

I don't think teams in this position would agree because there is a handsome cash prize up for grabs to whoever comes in third place, besides such competitions are based on three tier positions which is gold, silver and bronze.

I predicted 1-0 for Croatia but Morocco played openly this time as they probably said we have got nothing to lose,we already won our World Cup and kept playing like this until they equalized.Croatia though was eager to win the game and they did so in the end of first half,the second one was a Morocco who wanted to equalize but could not do it,I had a bet on both teams to score no as I expected Croatia to win with a narrow result but Morocco surprised me as they scored a goal during this game.

Nicely done, Croatia, and just a good game, robust and clean. Finally 2 solid goals, and Morocco couldn't claim its last scalp. Pretty decent motivations from both teams, I felt, even the yellow cards sort of came out after the African side were chasing.

Congratulations for all Croatians here. Winning medals 2nd World Cup in a row is something amazing, Very rare thing, but it was good 3rd place game, these early goals guaranted it. Croatia win is deserved, they controlled game in 2nd half, Morocco players looked visibly tired.

I have mixed feelings about 3rd place game, but today we saw that this game really matters for both teams and how Croatians celebrated winning game - it was important for them.. I agree that not many will remember 3rd place winners and in most cases such game is waste of time. But in countries like Croatia, Poland or Turkey such achievement always will be remembered.

In any sports do you really remember or even try to remember who was runner up? Olympics are great example or even to be specifically the 100 meter sprint. People only talk about the winners. Losers immediately lose the light of the stage. Beauty contest is another great example. The moment they announce the first runner up, everything changes and everyone starts cheering for the miss world 😂.

There are still two players that could potentially win this contest:
@bullrun2020bro and @LittleMouse can both still win this.
For this to happen, I have to pick the wrong team so I get 0 points and both of them would have to predict the exact outcome, which is somewhat unlikely but still possible.

Once I see their picks tomorrow I might know that I will win from the start of the game (if we pick the same team or all of us pick 0-0, 1-1 etc.)

I am really not sure who to pick though as both teams are really strong and I am a total football noob

Very well done from Croatia! A well deserved 3rd place in Qatar and they have back 2 back medals on a World Cup which is amazing overall and few teams can say they achieve something like this and same goes for players.

Marocco ...I had high hopes for them that in the end shattered but overall a great tournament from them and from now , I think no one will underestimate them when facing , especially in official games.

Yes I do remember runners up and third places in some world cups, last time that was Croatia who lost against France in final match, and Belgium was better than England for third place.
Maybe I don't know what happened many years ago but I also don't remember first places and champions.

Croatia played their best match in this world cup and they deserved to win third place, bronze medal and extra 27$ million dollars.
I am happy that I predicted exact score 2:1 and I am hoping the same will happen tomorrow, but math is telling me that it's impossible for me to finish first in Superbru.
