And maybe another reason is that Tank wanted to explore and have more options and see how it goes for him career wise.

It seems like Tank stays with PBC. Or is this also his last fight with PBC? Money is probably the main reason why Tank is leaving Mayweather Promotions. Maybe Floyd's asking share of the profit is a little high while his promotion is becoming garbage for years already as it is obviously becoming a dummy for PBC. Tank Davis if he still stays with PBC can just sign with TGB Promotions, the main dummy of PBC. 

Let's say Tank vs Garcia happens after they overcome their tune-ups. What's next to them? All the other big names from 135 to 140 are with ESPN.

Is he with PBC now? Wow, I haven't know that because I thought that he is now flying solo without any promoter after he fought Rolly Romero earlier this year and also, I've heard that Eddie Hearn was proposing to give him a guaranteed money to organize his fight against Ryan Garcia next year.

What's next? Depends on the outcome. Garcia will might vacate the belt eventually because of his weight and in the first place, I think he just want to prove that he's more dominant than Tank and he's not after the latter's title.

PBC is a de facto promoter and I don't understand why Al Haymon won't apply for a real promoter's license. TGB is the main dummy promotion used by PBC's events since authorities won't allow it without a licensed promoter.

my take is Davis should prove things out and while at solo there are many promoters that will communicate
with him, he already has his own name in this sport, so it's not hard to market him.

If he wins this upcoming fight and gains good hypes from fans and those who are working around social medias,
it will be a win-win for Davis.

We know that the upcoming fight for Garcia will also be expected by fans and with a better handler, he will earn
a lot for that upcoming big fight.

Before and after I created this thread, my prediction was always Tank Davis will win because he is the better boxer and the tougher man. However, when I was looking at King Ryan's record more closely, I think he has made the much needed preparations to give him a better than expected chance to win. King Ry has very much prepared himself to fight a 5'6" left handed boxer by fighting 2 left handed boxers in his last 3 fights. The last opponent is Javier Fortuna, he is short and can knockout anyone, having much similarities to Tank. I would laugh at King Ry's bettors last week, however, we cannot laugh if we have studied his preparation more.

You are right, I am a person who appeals because I always believe that those boxers who have more time to train will do a better job, their body adapts, the exercise makes them stronger and they can apply or think about having a plan A, Plan B and even plan C, because when preparing is always better in advance, the fact of having more than 3 months can generate a good diet, work on speed, strength and resistance, it is all that is required for a fight, and make your technique is more and more perfect, the more practice, the stronger and more experienced the person becomes, time must be used very well.

Then there's no risk for Garcia that the big fight might not happen. With his focus now is on Davis alone, I expect him to show the best of him in their coming fight. Davis hasn't made a statement yet if he would also do the same which is to cancel his tuneup fight, if he would do that, the better so they will be 100% focus on beating each other.

That would be better and preferable since these two are one of the most mentioned boxers in the boxing industry nowadays and they will gonna make some noise next year if they decided to fight against each other. It will not be easy for him for sure, Garcia has the power and is a very dominant boxer in his division, but he is facing a real monster which has a high knockout percentage. Maybe this will be the first time to see a good fight between two champions, but as a fan, I would be expecting a KO and a rematch after this fight.

Yes you are right but without fighting almost a year then it's a good for train harder and study the strategy of his upcoming opponent. Maybe Garcia will take this advantage if tank Davis team will agree the fight and if this happen then this is a good fight as we all know how these two boxer  perform inside the ring. But Davis has enough time to practice which 3 months is good for him all ge need is to focus on training then for sure Davis make this fight better than other .

Tank will fight against Hector Garcia, there's a user already create a thread since last month, maybe you missed it Gervonta Davis VS Hector Luis Garcia SAT, JAN 07, 2023. Let's say it need one month to recover about everything, Tank still has 3 months to training and it's more than enough.

Both boxers ever fallen and then came back to beat their opponents, so couple of good blows might not make either of them to stop. Maybe after many punches and it make them knock down multiple times, technical stoppage is more make sense for me.
