Hey Loyce, I noticed that your csv.txt doesn't have the columns in the right order (order of latest results), while csv2.txt does.

Here below a small Python script for everyone to quickly render the latest standings. Requirements are plotly and pandas.
Not sure if something similar had been posted before, but it was quick to do..

I see, makes sense. What's still confusing though, is that csv2.txt uses a comma as decimal separator, meanwhile csv.txt uses the standard english decimal point / period. The csv column delimiter is also different, but that's usually not a big deal. I did have to fiddle around (as seen in line 11-12) with that comma, though.

Would you like a static link that always shows the latest graph? I could fire up a mini server later and make it auto-run daily & update the image.


I will try to make the following image tag update itself automatically. I'm not 100% sure whether the forum and caching have an issue with the resource behind a link changing, but I believe it should work. At what time does your script update the data? Would be good to know so I can schedule mine to run a bit later.

The comma is only because of my own spreadsheet default.
I think a static link is perfect, it should be able to update I've seen it work with Bitcoin price images.
If you need to run a server just for this for a year I can host it (just tell me how).
My update runs at midnight, using OP's time zone.

What's still confusing though, is that csv2.txt uses a comma as decimal separator, meanwhile csv.txt uses the standard english decimal point / period.

The comma is only because of my own spreadsheet default.
I think a static link is perfect, it should be able to update I've seen it work with Bitcoin price images.
If you need to run a server just for this for a year I can host it (just tell me how).
My update runs at midnight, using OP's time zone.

Cool, you can use the link I used in my last picture. That updates automatically whenever I run my script; I just tried it.

All right, then my script will run at Paris time midnight + 15 minutes just to be safe.


Update: Bitcoin line thickness was increased. Automatic update at 00:15 UTC worked without issues. Bitcoin now also always receives the official #f7931a color, while the others I believe are random.
Regarding scores: we've got a tight race! Today, casperBGD and Trofo surpassed xSkylarx, after having the lead for a couple days. Bitcoin also surpassed quite a few users, including myself.


Update 2: Now also the current exact numbers can be embedded as an image tag like this (updated using Loyce's data once daily, as well).

Yeah, I noticed.. Actually, I was monitoring it and tweaking it the last few days. There was an issue with the second script and I also added the latest total portfolio value of each participant to the graph labels, as well.

Indeed! All in the green so far; complete opposite to last year.

What surprises me is how close #1 and #2 are right now, even though they picked completely different coins. I expected to see 2 users with a large allotment of the same 1-2 coins.
