Congratulations ops for earning your own mo et through cryotkcurrncy, indeed cryptocurrency has made many of us here to be financially independent just like you, but again there is a difference between earning an income and actual freedom, and from what I see from the image you posted, it doesn't look to me that you are financially free yet. Because you still store your funds on an exchange and that in itself is not freedom since you don't have control of the wallet and you don't have the wallet keys the exchange does. So to become financially independent you need to have your funds stored in a private wallet with your private keys saved in a good place to be able to recover your wallet at any point in time when the need arises.

But at the same time you became dependent on cryptocurrency, which is a very volatile and speculative field with unclear fundamentals. We can't know if in 10 years crypto would still be a thing or not. Maybe traders will lose interest and move on to something new, and the opportunities will become virtually non-existent. And there are other downsides, like the fact that there's less opportunities during a bear market. This can be very bad in certain situations, when you suddenly need a lot of money, but it's a bear market, so you might have to sell at a loss.

and also, a testament that not giving up on this market from a terrible loss will pay off in the future. because i am sure, those who got rekt or lost the first time they did venture in crypto , got away and regret for trying out this market. but yes, you can't really assure you are winning at the first dip on this market. usually, it takes hard work and patience before you will see your reward.

Congratulations on your profits. I hope you'll broaden your spec and start doing more things with your bitcoin than trading, especially that trading means keeping it on centralized exchanges and that you're selling it for tether which isn't fully backed and can disappear one day like luna.

You say you're making money from crypto and then that you're trading bitcoin, so you're trading bitcoin or crypto, or both? FYI crypto is a broader term and involves all the shitcoins.

I know this is just silly story but I want to tell you that my bitcoin journey is not fascinating but here I want to tell.
In 2017 I started Bitcoin trading and also got skeptical in crypto. I lost too much much money but I got resilient. Cause I know that their is a future for me in this.
After late 2019 beacsue I took admission in university and now I am  independent and I do not need Money from my parents and that's good for me. I started making Money from crypto. I am And that was joy for me. Now I am making 100 dollars plus form crypto. That is enough for me.

Being independent is a thing many wants to celebrate about. It means you being financially stable and  taking your responsibilities by yourself but i must say this note that crypto is volatile and can note guarantee your a steady source of income. Yest it can be an alternative investment or option for you to bank on but it would be nice you diversify your investment like the adage says " do not carry all your eggs in one basket" and another thing you should note  "not your keys, not your coin"  i will suggest that you put your coin in your own wallet which you a;lone have access to. If you have been following up with the happenings on the crypto space of lately, you will be extremely careful and thread with caution as regards your digital assets and funds. Once again congratulations on being financially  independent.

^Definitely right, those who have patiently waited may receive a better reward.
Nowadays, there are too many people who have experienced financial freedom the same as OP did and that is because of the crypto they have changed their lives. Being independent is not just easy, especially if you don't have a stable source of income while crypto is very volatile, probably OP was happy now with what OP's achieved but what if in the future?

I know where you are coming from but this is good start to be earning the little you can than depending wholly on your parents. At least you have lessing your parents financial workload of training and catering for you.

Make sure you are using your cryptocurrency profits wisely as you earn them. If you can, diversify your investments and add another source of income so that you have something to fall back on in the event that you lose all of the money you made from trading cryptocurrencies. Not wishing for such scenario to happen, but at times you think otherwise.

It can be risky to leave your crypto assets on an exchange, you better have a hardwallet to secure your crypto earnings

It is really a good thing to see that an individual is making use of this industry for his/own good. Simply proves that you can still earn money regardless of the market 'trend'. But what I think should be emphasized for potential crypto investors is assurance with profit. Perhaps with OP, he is now earning quite of an amount;this should not impress other people that earning profit would be assured in this industry. It is just that OP worked hard on his chosen crypto field. He even stated that it took him years to reach what he have now. Nothing's easily earned from this industry. The reason why I said such is because most of the people who are new and are spamming "Cryptocurrency is a scam" never exerted an effort to study how this industry work which put them into such situation.

Good thing you can generate your own income while studying, it is something that not most of the students can do, but that is just the first phase of becoming independent. Though we knew cryptocurrency could give us unlimited income If we get lucky with our trades and/or when you're patient enough to hold your Btc till the next bull season, but there's no guarantee that we are retaining a stable gain.
You can go ahead and finish your degree get a good position or build your own business and continue dealing with crypto and I guarantee you, you will feel what financially independent and free feels like.

It's good that you are earning profit by trading crypto currencies, but don't start thinking that you are now independent because you are able to make some profit trading. Trading profits aren't guaranteed and maybe in all those trades, you got lucky. But there will be time were you will be losing all if not some money when trading. What are you going to do then? How will you be able to pay the bills. You can call yourself independent once you have a lot of money were paying for basic things isn't a worry for you anymore or if you have a stable job that pays well. So don't depend on trading only. Get a job and keep trading as a side hustle.

It's good to hear that you're still here and even making significant gains. But I wonder how you make your money. Is it by trading? Because if it is, it's not always profit that you can have there. Sometimes you will also have losses. This is what most other people do or especially some people who are just starting in cryptocurrency, like doing cryptocurrency trading. There's no such easy money in the world, everyone must know it.
There are just lof of misconception when you are in crypto, people thinking you are making easy money but it's not.

I won't lie, crypto has given me independence and changed my life. Though I lost money trading, I did earn a decent amount of cryptocurrency from other sources such as campaigns and marketing. Some holdings performed well, while others disappointed me. However, the overall position in cryptocurrency is good. You just have to be cautious and learn a lot if you want to make money in the crypto space. Because there are a lot of shit tokens around us and a lot of scammers seeking into our funds. It is becoming extremely difficult to earn cryptocurrency on a frequent basis.

It is very true as you said, cryptocurrency has given us a lot of freedom, especially in the financial problems we are facing now, when we lose our way and lose our jobs because of covid 19, cryptocurrency comes to give us new hope and change our lives, ups and downs of course there is, but when we experience a loss we must not be discouraged, because after red it will definitely come out green, because there are so many missions that we can get in cryptocurrency, the point is we must not stop learning and exploring our potential, because cryptocurrency teaches us to be independent.

To me, making money is not yet called financial independence, but you are off to a perfect start and if you really want to be financially independent, then stay that way for as long as possible. There are bound to be difficulties ahead, but remember that you must not back down or give up.
To be successful in the crypto market is not easy, and not everyone will do it but remember that cryptocurrency will give you many things that the job out there or other forms of investment cannot bring you. Yes, investing in cryptocurrency is difficult, but the returns it brings are immense.

I think your experience will motivate me a bit, who is still new to crypto and bitcoin. I am still learning. Since long ago I was too focused on the field of business and property investment. and this year I just studied crypto more seriously. although still too busy with work. but I always take a few hours of my break to visit this forum and see the market and read information related to crypto. even on the sidelines of work sometimes I talk crypto with colleagues who also happen to be interested in crypto.

The biggest benefit of working for crypto is the flexible time. I remember when I was still starting my activities as a crypto-worker in 2018 (I was also an office worker), I could do 2 things at once without my boss knowing, lol.

Wow! I really admired the journey so far. It is a great opportunity for someone to not depend on their parents or other family members. When someone isn't overly ready to get wealthy soon and doesn't want to invest in all does shit token token because they've heard that certain token do 100x, I think that cryptocurrency will continue to improve people's lives from nothing to something. I think that as you go with your investments, you will eventually have enough money continue to support yourself.
