It’s a delight reading post about using bitcoin and other crypto as payment options. As for your problem with delay in confirmation, using lightning network for your transaction would be faster. It was already suggested that you adopt lightning network in your previous thread. It seems you haven’t done so yet, I guess you didn’t see it or aren’t familiar with the process. You can read it up here “Basics of the Lightning Network”.I also noticed your customers pay in BNB and USDT, I didn’t see any bitcoin transaction. Are you only accepting these coins as payment? one bottleneck here also is that his customers will find it hard at first to be oriented with lightning network, hence, they are using third party platform for the payment method. once direct way of receiving payment is via electrum wallet where you can provide your wallet address. as it is not consuming a lot of space, one can install it also via google play. at least with this wallet, you have full control of your keys and you don't have to worry about the third party service provider. now, the OP can directly receive BTC and may very well offer a discount as you will not add anymore the fees involve using binance pay.

Unfortunately no bitcoin payments on the list Indeed. OP has said above that people are afraid to use BTC because the transaction takes a long time. Considering this fact, I think OP can't say " doing well" on the title. He has a big problem here, people still don't want use BTC as the payment tool due to long time for its transaction. I don't get why people use usdt to buy things. It's like converting your dollars to something much more risky to hold, without any reward.
Do you mean using USDT for payment tool is riskier? Or you mean holding USDT is riskier? I don't see any problem to use USDT as a payment tool. It is even more secure because its price is stable. Don't avoid the fact that BTC is more volatile than USDT. By they way, OP shouldn't hold all the payments, he must convert them to dollars. It is the way to secure his bussiness profits.

Binance pay supports bitcoin payments, and can get confirmed in a couple of mins. Would have been a lot easier if your customers can pay btc as you prepare what they ordered. Have a little chat with them and bam, you'll get 1 confirmation usually within 10 mins (or less on non-peak hours). It's great that some people have already tried paying using cryptocurrencies, but it could have been better if they can pay in bitcoin too. It's a great start, and hopefully along the way you get to see customers willing to pay in bitcoin and willing to lend some time for a chat regarding that too.

Be careful downloading or using a search engine in google play, use the official website of Electrum when someone wants to download it because it's a safe way to download Electrum and the last thing is always to verify GPG signatures. However, I tend to agree with this using Electrum as your Bitcoin wallet via payment method, you can also use it through a QR code on that app. It usually takes 10-15 mins when the confirmation transaction to confirm and for a safe transaction could be 3-4 confirmations and that's unlikely can reverse a transaction. Good luck in your business, glad to know there are people who keep spreading Bitcoin awareness.

There are no actual Bitcoin payments, though its a good thing you confirmed that you're also accepting Bitcoin and other cryptos, it might be that your clients happens to only have USDT or any other stable coins available or doesn't want to spend their fractions of BTC at all. It's understandable, because spending BTC during bear market will make you spend more fractions than during bull season. These are all business men btw, so most likely they're not gonna gamble their Btc, instead they're paying in other forms of cryptocurrency.

Glad you got paid a few times. Biance's P2P business quickly completes the transfer. At present, the price of cryptocurrency fluctuates greatly. I suggest switching to usdt or busd for trading.

As much as Binance pay provides a nice service to everyone who wants to receive payments, it is central and if a problem occurs, it may cause you to lose your money. If you have time and want to invest in Bitcoin for a long time, why not accept Bitcoin using an open source tool and give you complete control over your coins? If you want to know more, read Bitcoin Payment ProcessorsWe do not want to use Payment processors, because they convert all Crypto payments directly back into Fiat. A true Bitcoin transaction must take place between two parties and not with any intermediary third party service. People must understand that Bitcoin was meant as an alternative payment option, without any centralized Payment processors. You should be in control of your own wealth. (Private Keys)

Yes, that's true, but there has to be a middleman in this case (when we have a transaction happening on a commercialized level) where we have that next level of ease of use.

So 2 months ago I started to accept Cryptocurrency as a payment system in my rice business. ....
First of all, congratulations on your business OP! You are actually living the dream that most have aspired- accepting cryptocurrency as an alternative payment in their respective businesses. I remember a thread was posted here asking if there are any small-scale businesses accepting cryptocurrency as a medium of payment and you are the living proof that you are practicing this system. Just a quick question though, how do you accept cryptocurrency on your business? Did you create an external wallet in order to keep all the funds sent? Another thing, did you encounter any issues with the payment given that you receive them after the confirmation of blocks?

Congrats @OP. Even if your customer pays using BNB, they will still be willing to try using crypto to pay for what they buy. If more customers are willing to open themselves up to pay for what they buy using crypto, it will help the adoption process around you. Perhaps, you will probably be known as a crypto pioneer who has helped them to know how to use crypto as a means of payment. And I have seen that you have successfully introduced other payment methods besides fiat. Congrats again @OP.

I am very happy that this is going well, and I will also try to teach people who don't know about crypto payment or crypto at all. In the future, I hope we can build a community of crypto users and do our business that way. Cheers.
Congratulations on your achievement so far and your contribution to the adoption of cryptocurrency in general. I observe you're using a centralized payment processors which is Binance. I know they can be easily used since you won't have to set up much but have you considered accepting payment in just Bitcoin. This altcoins will come and go and some might turn into scam in the future and not because they actually what to scam but due to their centralization. Binance is now been targeted by the fed and who knows if they'll succeed in bringing them down. If that was to happen it might send a wrong message to those that will pick interest in the coin due to you promoting it buy accepting it as a form of payment. Bitcoin should be the prefer choice.

Hey OP, super interesting to read about it, I don't think I've ever seen a rice seller use BTC. Now the question is where are you located and could someone buy from you and deliver? I don't mind paying BTC half first and half on delivery? Do you have a list of what you sell and where to deliver? And obviously all legal?
We eat a lot of rice here but lately prices have gone so crazy most people buying smuggled ones but of course with quality that's scary to trust (so I don't do that as I'm afraid of what's in it).

If it were me, I would also use USDT or any other coin that is not BTC, partly because of its volatility, and partly because I don't want to waste my bitcoins. We are trying to accumulate as many bitcoins as possible, there is no reason to use bitcoin when it is cheap and a waste of bitcoin, while we have many other options. I still think he is doing well, accepting crypto payments has been a success, and choosing which coins to pay with is the client's decision, not his.

Hey, I am sorry that I could not answer all of you individually. But here's some info which will clear some doubts. I have recently started to accept crypto and getting good feedback as you can see on the payment history. As many of you have said that there are no BTC transactions yet. Well, we are in the first phase of using crypto as a payment. And USDT/BUSD has same value as USD and calculating them as a price is easy. BTC calculation and its volatility makes it hard to calculate. Here's an example. Someone called me and placed an order, which he will pick up tomorrow. So if I calculate the price in BTC today and the market rise up or dump after that, the price calculation needs to be done again. It's different in hand-to-hand order. So I have to consider that too. If someone is willing to pay me in BTC, then I will accept it happily. But I can not force them to use only BTC as payment. IT's their personal choice. From my end, I think this is just the beginning of a great thing. We are slowly starting from the start point and when we will reach to the finish line, I am sure we will see all kind of crypto payments. And one more thing I have noticed while reading all your feedbacks is that you guys want me to use my own personal BTC private wallet to receive payments. I am working on that. I will add that soon in my business. And the thing is, I have to convert the majority of my crypto into fiat money in order to reinvest them in my business. Currently, the amount I earn is not suitable for holding crypto. So in the future, when I make this business grow more, I will try to save one third of my earnings in Crypto. So pray for me, guys. We can build a crypto community for sure. I do not want to be the one to spoil the party, but someone has to say this too that as things are going well now, you should also plan for when your business increases and the number of persons paying you with cryptocurrency increase. You should also be able to anticipate potential challenges you will face with cryptocurrency when your business increases so you can be best prepared to sort them out.
Everything comes with a challenge, But we will see what happens. I am not afraid to accept some challenge. Binance pay is best option because it's totally instant and without of any cost.
It is, but you need to know that nothing comes for free. That's why I am concern to use it. But until I can use private wallet perfectly, I will have to stick to it. This is an expected concern for a business who are having a tight cash flow. Anyway, does Binance Pay does not have a feature to accept FIAT payment settlements? Other third-party payment gateway services have a direct crypto-FIAT conversion, maybe if you consider other options for the payment gateway, you can utilize that features in the meantime. For example, Bitpay[1] and Coinbase Commerce[2] have the feature. [1] https://bitpay.com/business[2] https://www.coinbase.com/commerceThank you It is good to see someone including crypto as a payment system. I have read your previous post too. You are doing a great work for the community. Hope you will expand the business more and establish a good ecosystem where you can take crypto as the main source of payment. Till the day arrives.
Thanks mate. We eat a lot of rice here but lately prices have gone so crazy most people buying smuggled ones but of course with quality that's scary to trust (so I don't do that as I'm afraid of what's in it).
Maybe I can deliver. Kindly let me know your address. If you are concern to disclose your address, then DM me. I don't think I skipped it, because I didn't see it in the OP, but what payment system are you using?
You can see that in the first post linked in this post. if you are not interested to see that the ill say it here. Binance Pay. All crypto are accepted ~snip
Thank you. ~snip
Thanks a lot mate Increasing the adoption of cryptocurrency - Yes, spreading btc adoption - I doubt that since the OP is not exactly accepting btc directly yet.
It will be done shortly. working on it. ~snip
Thanks for the positive vibe. means a lot man.

Binance pay is very easiest and Fast way for accepting payment. BTC transaction takes time when transaction done. It will pass many confirmation and then you will recieve payment. BTC payment can be made faster by increase gas fee but Binance pay is best option because it's totally instant and without of any cost. Very happy to see that you are doing well.

These are all business men btw, so most likely they're not gonna gamble their Btc, instead they're paying in other forms of cryptocurrency.
The fact that nobody wants to spend their bitcoins in a bear market, I think the bigger obstacle is the volatility and transaction fees of bitcoin as well as transaction confirmation time, which makes people more hesitant. If I were a customer, I would also be quite hesitant to buy a few kilos of rice or food at a low cost, and if I had to pay an extra transaction fee, I would feel a bit uncomfortable. That's the user mentality I think everyone has.
