Previously im just observing here in the community too because I know to my self that I cant contribute yet a good quality response they give but after 2020 I  realize to create an account and decided to contribute as the other people do.  After a couple of years, I got achieved my hero rank member and achieved the legendary as one of my last journeys for the rank but still I continuously exploring, learning and sharing those to the other member most of the time people struggle with where to start with so I keep my purpose here.

So for the newbies like me, why did you join bitcointalk.org?

For me I would say because of its diversity. I have been a member of the altcointalk community for quite some time now and during some discussions there I noticed that some altcointalk users are always mentioning Bitcoin talk so I decided to create an account here to see how it really looks like and to be sincere since I have been here even if I'm not that active here I can boldly say that all the features that were mentioned in altcointalk about bitcointalk is just so correct. Here you have users that have a vast knowledge about Bitcoin and some of them have been around since the creation of Bitcoin. all those out together are some of the reasons why I'm here today at bitcointalk.

Why am I here?
8 years ago, there were not many places on the Internet where you could get information about crypto, meet the crypto community and learn something.
In the meantime I have met and befriended a lot of members here and that is the reason why I'm still here.

Briefly describe the forum, we can say that this forum is not about how to make money with cryptocurrencies. This forum is about how not to lose them.

This is something I have learned here and am grateful for this opportunity of knowing this forum. This place has revealed so many different ways scammers get their victims and some times it is not even because the scammers use spells but because of the foolishness and greed of the victims that gets them into troubles. Except for those who are not ready to learn who will not find this place helpful if their only aim is to earn from bounties. This is a super forum.

I am sorry with your loss in cryptocurrency investment, I have been in your position but all my capital used for trading and investing coming from Bounties campaign and spent half bounties payment for investing assets.

I got to know this forum after trading and it was a suggestion from a friend. After some time I was here, I got a lot of information about crypto faster. There are a ton of old school plebs who have been in Bitcoin for a decade or longer and they have a lot of knowledge to pass along. For example, Satoshi's original posts are on here.

I am also on here to help educate. Those who have come before me have been incredibly helpful on my journey down the bitcoin rabbit hole. I am here to help others along their journey as well.
