Most probably it's all just an act. Nothing really provoked him, Loma did nothing in interviews nor on the face-off. But because of that push, I think many fans will want to see a heated fight in the ring. It must be for the marketing deliberately done for wants to see whether Loma can have his revenge.

It happened too fast, Loma should have been cautious already the moment when Haney was talking to him that close. He was still smiling uncomfortably as lips gets closer 

Or Loma is not that kind of fighter? Yeah he usually answers the trash talking, but maybe there is a language barrier here. But in any case, the push could be just an act on the part of Haney to sell the fight because he knows that the PPV numbers of Garcia-Davis did millions.

And so if they can do at least half of it, then there could be narratives that he can still sell fights even though he has a boring style and that the public loves a toe to toe knockout fight like the last one we have seen in this division, Ryan vs Tank.

I had the same score going into the 12th but I gave Haney that last round so for me it was a draw. I think there was enough swing rounds where you can make an argument for either guy winning. I won't call it a robbery but I would love to see a rematch to clear up any doubts. Haney seems like he's ready to move up in weight so there is no guarantee that we will see a second fight.

So I do agree, I also score the fight for Loma at least 7 rounds for him. But not sure if there will be a rematch, if I'm not mistaken, this is Haney's last fight with Top Rank and so we don't know if he will sign up and extend his contract or to go rival Matchroom.

Another ridiculous scorecard in boxing

Loma clearly win the match, no debate. I don't see Haney win at least for 6 rounds, no win for Haney or draw in this match. We don't need to use our eyes to see Loma dominating the fight, just hear what the commentators saying because they got hyped when Loma punch more accurately on Haney's face.

On the 11th round, Haney lose his footwork, that's clear sign how Haney got beaten by Loma.

I think Loma started slow again and Haney control the fight early with his length and those body shots. However, Haney engine started to get hot and rally late in the rounds and going into round 12 it's anybody's game. But I gave Loma the last round so that makes him the winner in my unofficial card.

But I do agree that the judges fix this match from the beginning they are not going to give Loma the win here unless it's a knockout.

True, another big time messed up by the judges here and the boxing pundits are not happy with the results and I do agree, it was highway robbery clear as day. Loma was dominating the last part of the fight specially the championships round.

Hopefully there will be a rematch, otherwise this might be the end of the road for Loma, his dreams of becoming a undisputed is not going to happen. On the other hand, you can see the expression of Haney after the announcement, he was very elated because he knows he could have lost the belt here.

This is a heartbreak loss for Loma and the boxing community, even if you're a fan of Haney you will not like the final score I'm ok with a split decision or a draw but a unanimous decision, come on I can shout it a robbery and no one can debate that.

The final two rounds which are the championship rounds are clearly dominated by Loma it's hard to figure out where the judges are looking even the experts thought the fight is too close and could have been a draw or Loma wins.

Well, nowadays this is the norm when you came to the fight as the underdog because in order to win, you need to either knockout or dominate every round to clear every doubt for the judges. As expected, Loma's experience is too much for Davin Haney to get an easy win and this is a hard lesson for him because not all opponents he will meet in the future will be as easy as the last boxers he fought in the past. there will come a time when he will face someone that makes him use every skill he knows in boxing in order to win the fight just like what Loma did to him tonight.

Haney is another Mayweather in the making prefer to run and hug and counter punch he is hiding his weakness from the so called sweet science of boxing.

Loma has nothing to be ashame of he won the hearts of the boxing community, at 35 he is still got it and manage to dominate the young Haney, if there's a rematch its better it be held in a neutral ground.

I'm with you here. I watched the whole full replay too as I missed the live match and all I could see is Lomachenko scoring on half of the bout. He ended it strong in the 10th and 11th rounds and I was shocked how the other judge scored it at 116-112. Seems fishy or his eyes are not good anymore.
For me, Lomachenko won that match and we could all see in his expression how ridiculous the decision was. It's not even a split decision which is funnier, not one judge saw how he dominated most of the rounds.

I'd say Haney really lost it, in the first seven rounds, both of them got a good showdown while boxing back and forth in the ring, so it's really kind of hard to judge on that part but in the rounds 10 to 12, it is clear that Loma was the one who punished the opposing side and the current undisputed is seemingly not undisputed at all in-front of Loma.

They already felt that it might be the last day of Haney being the unified champion in lightweight division because unlike what they've said days or weeks before the fight, what happened was the opposite thing because it was Haney who was getting schooled by receiving Lomachenko's combination without any choice as he cannot predict what will happen next. I had it even on the sixth round but after the sixth round it is where Loma dictate the phase of the fight.  Haney body punches were good but Loma's double left straight is way better.  The round 10 - 12 is obviously Loma's, or we can have it even on the 12th round.  I don't know if punches of Loma is too fast that judges hardly noticed them.
