Yes, i also think that there are some people on Trump's side who are certainly privileged compared to the poorer people, but one thing must be understood, football belongs to the people, and people want to see their national team in peace, right now having the possibility of seeing the match in this climate is impossible and above all with this price.

Prices are really exaggerated, but let's always remember that these events are rare, even if i don't justify taking advantage of a certain country as is done in this case, by setting prices like that you prevent access to some fans who want to see their own national team.

The ticket prices are just extreme. There is no other way to say it. The World Cup is organized once in every 4 years. So yeah, this competition doesn't take place every year. However this is still too much for so many fans from the world.

You shouldn't be able to just make it double, triple or even more easily. Now I'm really wondering how the attendance in games will be. I think people would consider paying that sum for worthy games only.

However, the investigation is happening to the those 9 players who were incomplete the administration to switched the nationalities. If Congo will be proven the guilty, they have to be disqualified.
Nevertheless, to say FIFA wanting Nigeria so badly in WC is totally wrong. If Congo proven the guilty, they have to accept the consequences. This case is pretty similar like what happened to the Malaysia that gets banned by faked its players administration.

As for Suriname case, i thought that you missed something. As far as i know Honduras potentially to get called when Suriname gets red carded by FIFA. It's also being mentioned in several articles. So why is it Honduras? It's caused by they have higher points than Guetamala in the result of Concacaf.
So we can argue that Suriname case may be ending with another country to get out of jail card like what's gonna happen to Nigeria if Conge will be proven the guilty.

Just look at the current ticket prices for the World Cup. Who among the ordinary fans can afford that?  
Football is increasingly becoming just business and less sport.  
The current FIFA president knew how he would gain support for his new term as FIFA president; he simply promised many countries that he would expand the number of World Cup participants, thus securing his new term.  
In the end, it all comes down to politics and business, and sport and sporting motives no longer exist in the whole story.

But this is complete nonsense, since the average person won't see these tickets anyway: these are tickets for the players' wives, journalists, various officials, and so on. The average person on the street won't see these tickets. And naturally, 1,000 tickets is a paltry number to mean anything. To see their desire to change their pricing policy, you need to wait for the start of sales, if demand is very low, then they might think about lowering prices.

I don't understand the criticism that FIFA gets on this topic. The minimum price has been set at $60 per ticket. So you guys are saying that fans can spend more than $5,000 for travel and accommodation during the world cup, but they can't spend 1% of that amount on tickets? This is not acceptable for me. During the 2024 T20 Cricket World Cup, tickets were priced at $300 and above for matches hosted by the US. No one complained, because everyone understood that ICC needs those funds. Same with FIFA as well. The revenues will go towards growing the game in Africa and Asia.

Not only for elites, but also for "trash" fans i mean most of the people who goes to see the matches right now are pure posing, a lot of girls who didnt know nothing about football and only want to be in front of a camera.

So instead of paying $100 we have 1,000 people who would pay $60. That's it. Out of 70.000 people that the average stadium can host. Should we thank FIFA for this? Should we say that now, thanks to those 1,000 tickets everything is okay and the price of all the remaining tickets is justified? I think that we have a high probability to see the same thing that happened during the Club World Cup: few days before they will sell tickets for a fraction of the original cost.

Hosting an important tournament in the United States is somewhat revealing of FIFA's incompetence. We are all aware of the visa complications in the United States, and the increase in ticket prices several times makes FIFA's decision even more confusing and critical. When comparing with previous World Cups, I feel that this World Cup has brought up issues that are even 6 months away from the World Cup. The Qatar World Cup also had some issues, but I don't think it's this bad.
It is quite unfortunate when what we have been waiting for for 4 years cannot run smoothly, and FIFA must be responsible if bad things happen. Especially when it comes to safety, I'm honestly very worried about it. But I hope what I'm worried about doesn't happen at all.

I came across the news too, but not sure of the number of tickets that will be sold at a new price. If it's only one thousand, then it still doesn't make any much change. FIFA should stop being too greedy and bring football back to the true fans.
The world cup is really going down the drain with this tournament. Not so many will view it as they used.

If they disqualify Suriname it's a big slap in the face, if they throw him out they leave a hole in the playoffs it's the usual cold regulation situation, you're right about Congo.
If they fish Nigeria out for the table a slaughterhouse would come out.

Trump should know that this is the world cup coming to America and he should be careful with the types of laws that he should pass before the start of the world. Hosting the world cup means that they are hosting the rest of the world and now that the world cup is expanded they should be ready to accommodate people because, alot of people will be coming to the united states because of the world cup that is that is been played in the United States.


Trump should know that the football is devoid of political affiliations and sentiments, so banding people at the wake of the world cup is something that is not welcome. FiFA  should take a firm decisions when it comes to the this matter because before the world cup was awarded to the united states to host there would have been some conditions that should have been completed and agreed by the united states.
