Hahaha...does that mean you've written Paraguay off that France would beat them easily to face Morocco? Well, that's the most possible outcome though. About today, I don't doubt Morocco in winning this world cup anymore, as we all see what they played today. The Canada they overpowered this much was never a weak nation in this current world cup dispensation, yet they beat them easily, and you can see the seriousness in the team. I can only wish them many good lucks in the coming game because France is not a "soft meat." Beating France mean their chance to win the world cup is almost certain.

I wouldn't going to say that the Morocco will be a very weak opponent for the France team but yet still we must have to agree with that the France is the most favourite team in this FIFA World Cup 2026.

And we are already saying this on the match between the Paraguay and the France,  France is taking all the position in this match, and I think they will going to win in this match and as well they will face the  Morocco team, And we all know and it's an open secret that France has the best chance of winning there.

Paraguay is literally playing with all 11 players parked in front of their goal. it’s been over ten minutes and the French goalkeeper hasn't even been in the camera frame Possession is 91 to 9...

I’m not so keen on the narrative of putting Africa in a box like there are not different countries, especially when it refers to Morocco. They are a good team but haven’t exactly been pan-African in years so when you say things like they are making Africa proud, it begs the question whether the country (Morocco) shares that sentiment. 

True, they are not Pan-African, over and over again they have disassociated themselves from Africa as a whole but they kept participating in the continents tournament. Some years ago, that wanted to join the EU but was rejected. They also attempted to join the Arabs which was also rejected although they are Arabs because majority of them in North Africa are all Muslims but that move didn't work because of their location, same reason why they were rejected by the EU. The truth is there's nothing they can do about it, their location is in Africa. Wether they share the sentiment or not, they are an African team.

As time goes on, France's attacking is increasing, but the ball position of France has been reduced a bit, in this case Paraguay has been able to take some position.

But I expected a lead from the French team at least before half time, they were getting corner kicks repeatedly, but they could not gain any profit from them.

France is getting one chance after another. I'm actually talking about their corner kicks; they have had many chances from the corner but have not been able to score a goal with them yet. I think there is a lack of understanding among France's attacking players today. They are all trying to take strikes themselves, maybe from a long distance or trying to increase their score, but that is not what they should be doing. They are taking the shots correctly but it is becoming very easy for the goalkeeper to block them.

I agree with you that France is the favorite team to win the world cup trophy this year as the have very young and vibrant forwards that can hardly play a match without scoring a goal. Their match against Paraguay is a huge test for them and if they triumph, they will likely beat Morocco when they meet. Right now Paraguay is playing goalless with them in the first half, if Paraguay can hold them to penalty, their chances of scaling through will increase.

I can't really digest the first half of the match against France, because France dominated but couldn't score. What's even more sad is that Mbappe hasn't attempted a goal yet, while his opponent has already done it once, but Mbappe has made many successful passes.

But yes, it is true that in football sports, anything can happen at any time. Even though France is the strongest team in this year's FIFA World Cup, I would be wrong to think that they will not lose to any team.  I hope that after the break, the French players will recover from their mistakes and not take unnecessary wrong shots.

Holy moly was the only words that could describe my feelings when I watched the match between Argentina and Cape Verde, I never expected Cape Verde to be able to score two equalizer goals against Argentina and giving Argentina such a tough time. Lionel Messi did have some great chances to score more goals in the match but Vozinha was there to deny him and luckily Argentina did managed to get the crucial goal at the 110 minutes in extra time, if not for that goal, I think Argentina might even have a chance to get eliminate from the World Cup by Cape Verde once this game go into a penalties shootout.

I was very impressed with the Morocco's performance and is the only Africa countries I like most, because no matter how they will still perform better at least. Morocco really played the match fully with an aims and objectives, Canada has tried thier best also. Although I know the Canada will lose the match against Morocco.

Now the France and Paraguay match are going hardly, the both countries are putting themselves in a huge pressures,  so my favorite that will win this match is France. Can you imagine the possession different, football can be funny at times with thier unexpected results. But the France can win them easily when  they continue their performance. Morocco first half performance against Canada was below my expectations, they struggled and managed not to conceive a goal, which made me ask myself if this is same Morocco that was a pin in the neck of Brazil, Scotland, and Netherlands. Morocco has managed to take a one-goal in the second half. Let's watch and see if they can change the game.

One thing you have to know is that at this stage, every team is changing tactics and approach to game, Canada is a very strong side, Morocco did well be mastering the first half of the game, at the end they won by 3 goals to nil.

Morocco is a very strong team, and they're making me proud in this world cup, if they can beat France then they can beat Portugal to secure the final, the only obstacle now is France,  it will be a tough game with France, Morocco will leave with an honor.

Morocco are African and they are making us proud, although they behaviour in the last world cup was shameful and disappointing but this World runs remind us of their class, they are now the only surviving African Nations in the world cup, Senegal sadly was really disappointing especially how they were knocked out.

The potential France game with Morocco will be tough but sadly that may more likely be where their runs ends this world cup.

It was a good game, I expected so much and both sides delivered as expected. I had my money on Cape Verde to qualify on one parlay and a second parlay for both teams to play a penalty shoot deciding who qualifies, although it didn't happen exactly but i was this close to a win, Argentina narrowly escaped Cape Verde securing their spot for the next round of the tournament.

I remembered after watching Morocco's first game of the tournament against Brazil, it occurred to me that their run in the 2022 WC was an unfinished business, and they're here to continue with the same momentum. I didn't watch today's game, but I already knew that Canada would never stand a chance against them. Morocco's pattern of football is still something I haven't figured out yet because I haven't taken my time to do that. Their level of discipline is something else, and they stand a chance of making it far in this year's competition.

Argentina may have won that match, but Cape Verde won everyone’s hearts. They really put Argentina under pressure to the point where the Argentine players had a hard time scoring against them. In that match, Cabo Verde’s goalkeeper truly played like Buffon and Casillas in their prime. Even that goal by Deroy was absolutely beautiful. Cabo Verde played as if they were one of the nations with the best national teams. This may be their first-ever World Cup appearance, but their story, and how they fought to stay in the tournament is something that will be remembered as proof that a small nation was once able to hold off the defending champions.

Cape Varde lose the match but still they earn a prestigious view in everyone heart. To be honest this is really big achievement for them because it was their first time and even they are playing against those team who are the Champions as well as have 1st ranked team in the world cup but still 67th ranked team made a lot of trouble for them. So Cape Varde really deserve a great appreciation.....

The rest of the match was really amazing. Both side were a deep clinch and punching each other with 1-2-1 stance. Initially Argentina was in sluggish mode due Messi deadlock goal but soon Cape Varde put a high pressure on Argentina to make it equalizer. But at last Argentina got lucky due to own goal.
