And one thing that is special about Ronaldo I think is his consistency and extraordinary discipline that can hardly be imitated by other players. That is the point with not paying him a lot idea. I mean if he plays then he could be great, at this age and after this many injuries it's even doubtful that he could be great, but if he gets injured then you would be paying a ton of money for a player that would not play.

Al Hilal paying him insane amount of money just to sit at home, that makes no sense. Brazil is at least the guilty party there, he got injured during Brazil match, and not Al Hilal match, and yet Al Hilal is paying for him whereas Brazil is not helping with anything at all. That right, Neymar is the only player who is very often injured, even Neymar is the only player who is always absent for long time due to the healing of the injury he has experienced so far.
If there were no injury problems, maybe Brazil would still have at least one main player in the front line who is able to make the opponent defense feel great pressure, so far as long as Neymar is still fit and playing with Brazil has made Brazil strength quite good.
