I agree with you. In my opinion, increasing the quota of participants in the 2026 World Cup will provide a new opportunity for several countries that failed to play in the World Cup. Tournaments are getting bigger all the time regardless of time, tournaments are getting more complicated, so it was a matter of time to add the number of participants, and it's good to add it now and not in the next tournament, because now we have the opportunity to see more matches. Events extension has never been issue here we need to bring more countries and players here because we can have the best skills and talent but main issue is quality we also need to improve quality which is main issue if we have gape in quality then surely we will have things not on good level and fans interest will also hurt which is the most important thing for FIFA but if we have quality and things are on good level then having increased teams are never been issue.

Money is what ry matters now in football and you can see that with the clubs and the players how they want to make profit from whatever they are doing. I think FIFA is doing it to bring more countries into the competition and to also make more money to their pockets. However, I  will like to see if those countries that we call weak due to their low performance in football that have being depriving them from coming to the world cup, how they will survive the heat.

A country can be strong today and weak tomorrow. Look at Italy who failed to qualify for the next world cup in 2026, will you say that they are not strong but they became weak this time. Of course, with the increase number of participants means, increase of spectators as well. As they will be rooting for those teams involved, the possibility of larger audience will always be there. And yes, the revenue will further increase as more tourists will be expected on this event. The organizers will see if this will be good also for the event, to have longer list of participants or they will encounter more issues for holding such.
Some countries will splurge a good amount of money with the aim of promoting their country itself. And that means, they want also to have good revenue afterwards. This is why some of the infrastructures being built owed to the event are aimed to last long. And with more participants, they will have more audience for sure.

Has Asia's football level increase though? I can't really tell since most of the time the ones who managed to compete at the WC is Japan, South Korea, Saudi Arabia, and so on. It's a bit futile to argue whether their strategy is working or not if we don't know their goal. I remember reading some reports that suggest the government is quite happy with their plan to spend money to increase their league competitive level, but some will say that the data is faked or something because they can't verify it themselves. Who knows, maybe their goal is just to flaunt their wealth because it's hard to believe they can't predict something that a random internet user can think for 10 seconds.

If the number of teams increases then the tournament will be longer which will allow FIFA to sell the broadcasting rights to different channels at a higher price. Not only this, FIFA will also get a good amount of money from sponsors. More importantly, the new teams will have the opportunity to participate in big tournaments like the World Cup where every new team will try to play their best. There are many countries who have not qualified to play in the main stage of the World Cup despite trying hard for ages. If to be able to survive until close to compete for the title, for example reaching the semifinals, then I not so sure that the Asian team that can qualify will be able to survive that far, but if it only reaches the quarterfinals, then we can most likely see it.
So far, Asian football has only improved slowly and even then it is not really visible significantly, the main problem is that the players as whole do not really have the experience and ability to compete with the team that always dominate the World Cup.
Some Asian countries may have naturalized players or players who can develop in European football, but that is only part and not as whole.

I would say while it's good that they got some good players, they are world famous, but they are not as talented as they used to be. I mean can you imagine Benzema or Ronaldo to be starting at Real anymore? Of course not, Mane at Liverpool? The only thing they have in Saudi Arabia is money other than this they don't have the enough power to host the World Cup and I think FIFA just decided to let them host it because they can build a perfect Staduim like we saw in Qatar and even Saudi Arabia got more money than Qatar for it.

I agree with you. I think the main purpose of bringing in veteran superstar players is to promote Saudi Arabia especially SPL to the world. There are many rich businessmen in Saudi. If they want fame or want to be a pioneer in football they can buy a European club and then make it a team like City or PSG. But right now the Saudi Arabian government and businessmen are trying to promote SPL. We can see right now there are almost no football fans who don't know Al Nassr or Al Ittihad and the Saudi Arabian Pro League. If to be able to survive until close to compete for the title, for example reaching the semifinals, then I not so sure that the Asian team that can qualify will be able to survive that far, but if it only reaches the quarterfinals, then we can most likely see it.
So far, Asian football has only improved slowly and even then it is not really visible significantly, the main problem is that the players as whole do not really have the experience and ability to compete with the team that always dominate the World Cup.
Some Asian countries may have naturalized players or players who can develop in European football, but that is only part and not as whole.

Asian soccer has never been ideal because we have too many issues with Asia is having 3 strong regions Western Asia, Central Asia and Eastern Asia in soccer currently we have strong teams from the Eastern Asia Japan and South Korea in Wester Asia we have Saudi Arab, and we have not solid development in South East Asia due to too much popularity of cricket.
