Didn't Ronaldinho backtrack on his comments though[1]? He basically said what he said about those players are a bait to get people talk about it seriously. Not sure what to take from his comment. Even if we say the team is one of the worst team ever, surely the fault lies in the player selection/manager instead of the players? Because if that's not valid, how can we say the country is full of great players. Personally, I feel like a team with terrible tactic is a better term to describe Brazil, if there's no change at all in the future. CMIIW.

brazil has plenty of champions who can decide the matches if only they are all well organized and educated on what they have to do it will be a walk in the park for brazil to win some international trophies (if argentina managed it) everyone can do it so just enough Thinking about Real Madrid's phenomena to understand what they can do with those players, it's just a question of time

On 15th June 2024, Brazil and Barcelona legend Ronaldinho's speech about the Brazil team I don't think he allowed himself to be exposed to the media or spotlighted. Basically he gave that speech out of the anger that was building up inside him. Ahead of the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Brazil lost to their arch-rivals Argentina in the final match of the Copa America, and since then their team's poor performances have started. As a result of which they did not show any brilliant performance in the Qatar FIFA World Cup as well due to which they were knocked out in the quarter finals despite being a five-time World Cup winning team in that World Cup as well. We have seen them perform poorly in this year's Copa America as well. Maybe the legendary players are angry because of the reckless performances of the young Brazilian players.

I think he was quite sincere when he said it was the worst team ever. I've been following the Brazilian team since 1996, and I've watched several generations of players and several different Brazilian teams. And I say that this current Brazilian team is truly the worst of all time. It manages to surpass the horrible teams from the time of coach Emerson Leao and Mano Menezes... It's sad to see a country full of potential in football and that produces some of the best players in the world have such a mediocre team.

Well many have said such a thing, it's strange, for me Brazil has very good players, of course the only one who still has the "joga bonito" is Neymar Jr and I don't know if things can be done better, but for me the question here of the Brazil problem is a coach who can Integrate all the skills of the players and do magic with them, it's incredible, for me the most important thing is that a team has good players, and they're not bad, they're very good, so I think that things should go in the right direction and only a good coach can achieve that, for me that's the solution for Brazil.

However, since Tite left, they have trying to find someone and they constantly keep getting nobody they like. They tried their chance with Menezes, failed there in very games, then got Diniz, sacked him after just few, and now they have Dorival.

None of these managers are big names neither, I feel like if they could get someone big, they could do a lot better. They did send an offer to Ancelotti, before Ancelotti renewed his contract of course, and because he had a connection with Vini too, so they tried their chance, but Ancelotti decided to renew his contract with Real Madrid of course. The moment they hire someone who is a world famous coach, they will be fine. Hell even USA is hiring Pochettino, so Brazil should get someone better too.

I dont know what to think about this Brazilian team, they have very good players, but i still think they keep missing the internal fire and the magic of others brazilians generations, i dont know but Vinicius doesnt have that "aura" or soul and the whole team lack of that faith.

It is obvious that Brazil Era is fading away in football and that is why we are not seeing more of their young stars that are capable of winning the world cup for  Brazil. They don't have great players like before and it seems that Brazil is not taking football that serious like those days when they were the best in football.

On the other hand, maybe so many countries interest for football is now very high and many players are coming from those countries and outshines Brazil players, making them to lose interest and passion of maintaining their football standards.

Yes, Brazil is starting to lose one by one its star players, but they also include several names of young players with quite good potential, now almost 80% of Brazilian players are young players who have successfully developed well and have quite brilliant careers.
Brazil development may not be seen so quickly and for the 2026 World Cup later I not sure Brazil will be able to show big surprise with all the young players they have, but I believe they will be able to slowly improve the quality of their performance and become stronger team over time.
Brazil performance can really reach top performance, possibly in the 2030 or 2034 World Cup if they can really be on the right track like in the past when Brazil was one of the strongest team for each edition of the World Cup.
In this qualifying round match, maybe we can still see Brazil performing very well, and hopefully they can qualify as we hope and provide competitive competition for the real competition.

that's what I've always thought too, it's incredible how Brazil manages to churn out talents one after the other without stopping, football is in their veins and we can only agree with your words, they are always there and in my opinion with a good coach they will also be able to win it, both through history and determination they came very close and I think they will succeed soon!

Ronaldinho's spot on. Brazil's been sleepwalking. You look at that golden era, Ronaldo, Kaka, Ronaldinho himself... those guys were magic. Now? It's like watching paint dry. Dorival Junior's a decent manager, but he's a band-aid, not a cure. He's good at quick fixes, not long-term vision. That's what Brazil needs: someone to build a dynasty, not just win a few games

Look at the talent on that squad. It's insane. But talent alone doesn't win World Cups. You need a system, a philosophy, a leader who can make those guys play like a team, not a collection of superstars. Other countries have figured it out. Look at Spain a few years back, or Germany. They built systems, not just teams. Brazil needs to do the same. It's not about finding the next Neymar, it's about creating the next great Brazilian team. My national team Indonesia will face difficult opponent team the opening third round qualifier match against Saudi Arabia, they have been regulars at the World Cup in the last two consecutive editions, becoming Asian representatives who played in the World Cup in both the 2018 edition and also the 2022 edition in Qatar.
Indonesia team have bad capital for the first third round match after two defender Jordi Amat and Justin Hubner have absent due injury and yellow card accumulation, but we have top defender who played for Venezia Jay Idzes playing full 90 minutes last match in Serie A against Torino.

Actually I am not optimistic with Saudi Arabia as top opponent team in Asia and get regular participants every World Cup edition but looking Indonesian performance get increasing since second round its not difficult being draw Saudi Arabia and secure first away points before facing Australia on second third round match on our home.

Yes, and the truth is I think that for the team to get ahead they should hire a Foreign coach, the coaches who have been from Brazil or have done well, and it is strange, have the talent but not the ability to direct these players who for me are all on another level, but even so they have these problems, I think that things in Brazil have to do Something, today they play the South American qualifiers and Brazil must solve them and have quick results , Otherwise they will be left behind in the classification and the South American classification is very tough.

Saudi Arabia dominated the game but only managed to score one goal. The funny thing is that Saudi Arabia has invested a lot of money in signing foreign players so that their league becomes very popular and strong and the foreign players are always the center of attention in the league while the local players are anonymous, no one talks about them. Now looking at the national team, they played and no one remembers any name of the player who is in the national league. We can see that the fact that they are making the league strong using the model they have chosen is not making the national team strong.
