The performance of the current Brazil team is creating doubt in everyone's mind. Recently, the qualifier round of 2026 FIFA World Cup is going on in South American countries where Brazil's performance is terrible. They have faced five matches against the opposition so far out of which they have won only one match and lost the remaining four matches. I have seen this team for a long time that they want to improve themselves but they are not able to do it in some ways. The players who are in the Brazil team perform well at club level but when they step on the field for the national team, we don't see them playing well. Now the question is circling in the mind, do they play only for money, do they not have any love for their country or have they failed to give their best at the national level?

With the current performance of the Brazil team, one might think that they may not have any skilled and quality forwards or defenders in their team. Forwards help a team win, just like defenders can defend a team, meaning that for a team to be good as a whole, both sides need to be the best. Which is lacking in the current Brazil team.

A friend of mine also talked about this Brazilian team, but I didn't know that it is as bad as this. How did they even manage to lose 4 games?. This is not the Brazil I grew up watching. They've lost 4 games, and haven't even played against Argentina, Colombia and Uruguay that are top teams. This is so sad. Or is having too many stars on a team the problem?, Because I can't really tell what's going on here. I think the Brazilian sport administration needs to take serious action before it gets too late. We all understand that all Brazilian players are big boys, but these players should learn to play under some rules, and not giving them the free hand to play individual type of football. They need to put their heads in the game, and play as a team. As it stands, I haven't seen any single player that can act as a role model or figure to the other players. I mean a single player that can stand out, and gets maximum respect from others just the way the Argentines do to messi. If these players can be united, they will definitely perform alot.

Well if they play their next game and win it with 6-0 then we will know that they are ready for the tournament.

The last World Cup was more or less ok. It was far from great and already quite different from what we were used to see from Brazil, but they did dominate all their games and won the first two games in the group stage. Losing the third game in the group stage when a team won the first two games is not uncommon. They often give their best players a rest. They beat Serbia and Switzerland, which is good I think. And getting beaten by Croatia in a penalty shootout isn't good, but they had 11:1 shots on target but got unlucky a couple of times. I think when a team gets eliminated like that, it is still somewhat acceptable. But what Brazil is playing at the moment in the World Cup qualifiers is just horrible and there can't be any excuses.

I don't really care about FIFA ranking because this won't be the reason to say Brazil is a good team because they are in the higher ranking than some other teams. I see the fact that Brazil is not in the good form anymore and they don't have superstar players like they had before while the only high-quality player they have is Vini jr who can't do anything by himself.
With the current situation of Brazil, I think if they have to play against stronger teams in the 2026 World Cup, they won't have any chance to win because of the bad performance they have.

Brazil definitely looks like they have a team, I mean players, that should be playing much better than they do right now, it's not really looking like it's anything good at all, and we shouldn't really be hoping for anything else. We are aware that this is an issue, but the reality is that it's bigger than what it should be.

We are dealing with something that's much more difficult when it comes to Brazil because they are losing for a while now, it is not really a new thing and it is something that will take a while and could be a big problem for them. If they keep losing like this forever then we are not going to see it become that much of a big deal. I get that it will become hard, but it won't be impossible for them to recover.

We should see this become an issue for them if they do not fix this soon, they have a good team and they are still getting terrible results and if they do not fix it, they are going to miss a window. National teams do not play as many games as club ones, you either win the world cup or you win the Copa America, and if they keep this going for a while then they are going to end up losing both of them until all their good players get old and can't even win it.

Apparently he's just planning for the moment and nothing more, but he probably has a strong belief that he will do well and the national team he coaches will eventually reach the finals. Yes, their form at the moment doesn't look like the form needed to reach the final, let alone win the World Cup, but they have two more years at least to get better results

Brazil's 5-time World Cup title will be a burden for the Brazilian players and current coach when their performance has dropped so far. there are still many matches that can be maximized to qualify for the World Cup. although it takes a lot of hard work to overcome team problems.
even if they succeed in qualifying, but with their performance that will only improve slightly and not much progress, I doubt they can compete with other countries for the trophy. Dorival must be under pressure right now, not only in his career but also could getting criticism from Brazilian fans.

Not only that, but if that weren't enough, even if the brazilian team's performance doesn't improve before the tournament, there won't be enough time for it to adapt to this improvement and reflect in the tournament's results. So, for me, I consider this World Cup to be lost for brazil.

Despite this, I'm surprised to see that, even though the brazilian team is going through its worst phase in history, it's still widely discussed by other nations, an example of this is in this thread. Brazil is truly very relevant in the world football scene. It's up to the new generation to honor this legacy (which they are leaving a lot to be desired).

The qualifying rounds been played away in the home country's of the other  teams against the other are sometimes a reason for these players not to be effective enough because they have to deal with weather conditions an because its not their place of origin and so it will affect their performance as they play because they are not to accustomed with such and another thing is they are probably in their best form

Without Neymar, Brazil is kind of helpless, without Neymar, the Brazilian team can't keep their consistency in the game, they can't even stand up against the normal team in the World Cup qualifiers, Brazil lost 1-0 with the Paraguay team in the last match, which is really a shame. .


Brazil have lost 4 of their last 5 World Cup qualifying matches, And Brazil is at number 5 in the points table. It can be said that Brazil is playing very badly at the moment, they need to improve their performance at the moment, after that Brazil will face the Chile team on 11 Oct. I saw that there are several injured players in the Brazil team and therefore the coach has asked for Neymar to return to the field which surprises me given the amount of champions that Brazil manages to produce, however as previously said in my opinion the Brazil is a very complete team that in the World Cup can get to the end if well prepared

Checking this table, I can see Brazil definitely lost their place in the world and there is even the chance for them to lose the 2026 World Cup because of the bad performance they have currently and the bad results they got. But Argantina is still the first and this means even after the Qatar World Cup in which they won the World Cup title, they are still much stronger than other teams however Argantina hasn't still paly against the top European team recently to say if they are going to win the 2026 World Cup with their legendary player Messi or not.
