Now, an exciting match is currently underway between Croatia and the Faroe Islands. Both teams have scored, and the current score is 1-1. I hope Croatia doesn't disappoint in this match.

Hahaha my bet also lost on this match, at first i was very confident in finland, I even placed a bet on the first half but as we know they lost today. Some people say Malta was just lucky because Malta only fired 3 shots and only 1 on target and the good thing is it was a goal  Finland will have a little difficulty competing to catch up to 2nd place and Poland will leave them further behind if they win in the 8th match.

They could have played with a little more courage. I think the overall tempo of the match was slightly below average. Hosts Poland took the lead at halftime thanks to a goal from Kaminskiy.

Finland may have lost their priority in winning that match. Their motivation was gone, because regardless of the outcome, they still wouldn't have qualified for the World Cup. I didn't watch it, but I'm still puzzled by their loss. However, I remember that in the first match between Finland and Malta, Finland actually struggled a bit. Even with Malta receiving a red card, Finland could only manage a 0-1 win. Malta responded with the same score, 1-0. It seems Finland has always struggled to cope with Malta's style of play.

A draw between Poland and the Netherlands is quite normal, but Poland had more attacking opportunities in that match, but unfortunately, they failed to capitalize.

The German has brought back the glory of the English side but the true test would be in major competitions like the World Cup.

Congratulations to France and Croatia. They all deserve to be in the World Cup. On Sunday, the fate of other countries while some will have to participate in a playoff.

A bit unexpected Finland loss to Malta at home. This result puts my Lithuania into last place of group - a bit embarrassing...  
Faroe Islands hopes to qualify it's over - it was tiny, but anyway. They took a lead against Croatia, but Croatia made powerful response and won the game.
Netherlands secured spot in World Cup after draw with Poland 1:1, Polandwill have to play in playoff tournament. Honestly, it wasn't most exciting game to watch.

It is very strange that Finland lost such an important match to Malta and now has only 10 points and no chance of reaching the play-offs, although until yesterday evening it seemed that the battle with Poland for a place in the play-offs would be fierce.
For Malta, this is their first victory in more than a year; the last time Malta won was in October 2024.

It will be interesting to watch the Germany-Slovakia match, because both teams have 12 points and who will advance from the group will be decided in their last match.

It was a bad day for Portugal but that's football the big teams don't win all the time. Portugal will win Armenia and qualify for the world cup that's for sure. The only thing that got me worried is Cristiano Ronaldo elbowing his opponent. It wasn't necessary it was something that should have been avoided. Ronaldo should have understood that his behaviour was going to put his team mate in danger and should have just tolerated the player than hurting him the way he did. Ronaldo needs to work on his anger issues before the world cup.

They weren't good enough that night. Ireland parked the bus and took thier important chances. Parrott was responsible for the both goals scored. I'm pointing fingers towards the manger for starting such a team. Yes the absence of Bruno Fernandes and Nuno Mendes was felt but they should have done better. The introduction of Felix and Cancelo has not worked. They might be great with club sides but not with the national team. And Ronaldo? That elbow wasn't necessary. He should be hopeful they get to qualify.

anything can happen in football, but for bulgaria to beat turkey in this form, it would take a miracle. i think turkey's real rival right now is spain. even though they suffered a heavy defeat in the first match, what they can do away from home will at least give us an idea about the world cup. i know that at home, spain will probably beat turkey again by a big margin, but as i said at the beginning, anything can happen in football.

there are no more important matches left for georgia. their important matches were against turkey, and they lost both. their chances of advancing from the group are now virtually non-existent. in group e, there were no unexpected results in any of the matches.
