Yes, Portugal winning a World Cup trophy is difficult especially since many other countries are stronger and even have talented players. Furthermore Ronaldo is no longer young. It's true as you said that even when he was young, Ronaldo couldn't win a World Cup trophy. Moreover now that he's 40 years old, his performance won't be optimal for 90 minutes.

We saw this when Portugal beat Armenia. Without Ronaldo, Portugal could play more relaxed and open, allowing other players to play more freely. Portugal could even create more chances because they could play freely without a player like Ronaldo who had to pass to him every time he got the ball. Armenia isn't a strong team, but if Ronaldo had played in that match, I'm not sure Portugal would have scored many goals. I mean Portugal might have won the World Cup if they had used their young players instead of relying on Ronaldo.

It's a shame that Nigeria needed the playoffs to qualify for the world cup and even more shameful that they couldn't eliminate progress through the playoff. I will say mismanagement was one of the reasons that made the Nigerian side to miss the world cup. The NFF are more interested in what they will get than the performance of the team. Corruption of the NFF officials contributed to the super eagles inability to qualify for the world cup. It still baffles me that the super eagles didn't make it to the world it. Player like Osimhen has really tried for the team I can't blame him if others gave half of what Osimhen is giving to the team, Nigeria would have qualified for the world cup.

We got a win by 2-0 against Bulgaria yesterday. As Spain beat Georgia as well this means we have secured the 2nd place in Group E officially.



However from the look of the group of course there is no way we are getting past Spain. Unless we beat them by 7-0 in our final match which is impossible! 

At least it's guaranteed we are one of the seeded teams. Now it's time to hope for being in Pot 1. It's highly likely for now as long as there aren't too surprising results in the last round.

Türkiye football team played very excellent against Bulgaria football team which they played 1 day before and that was one sided match because one team was dominant because their practice was at top and they were confident to win this match and they could not win this match. Çalhanoğlu  was a first person of the match because he did first goal of the match and he did this goal at 18 minutes of the match and he did goal at penalty and we saw effort by whole team and that was the reason their stats was good in this match. Bulgaria team should try to come back in this match but they could not do this and they lost this match.Chernev was a second person who did goal of the match and no other person tried to do goal in this match.

Your right the Portuguese can easily win Armenia in the last game to qualify for the world cup. But bad sportsmanship display from a player like Ronaldo that is a big nama in sport and is a role model to so many players, he should not have allowed emotions to override his actions yesterday. I must really say u have really spotted that  Portugal should have enough firepower to see off Armenia and book their spot. I think that Ronaldo’s reaction was a bit of a let‑down; even the biggest stars need to keep their cool, especially when they’re role models for so many youngsters.

This coach was actually the person that revived the team. It was former coach Finidi George that caused the problem for the team. The super eagles were really struggling before Eric was appointed. It was when he came onboard that the super eagles started winning matches and made it to the playoffs. To me I feel the damage was already done to the team before Eric was appointed and the Man really tried his best to see if the team will qualify but not way. The coach should be retained in my opinion. If anyone is to be blamed it should be the NFF president for appointment Finidi George in the first place.

I agree with you, probably he wasn't sincere at all only because he hasn't been able to win the trophy. At the end every football player has two dreams: winning the Champions League and the World Cup. Those are the biggest achievement. Czech Republic have gotten their first highest number of goals since the beginning of this qualifiers, like what has gotten into them? In the first half it was 5nil and now they have the 6th goal in the second half which I don't think it will end there but more goals are yet to come. I wouldn't call Mbappé a failure. Kylian already has a World Cup winner's medal in his collection — he won that title with the French national team back in 2018 in Russia. Nigeria was depending on Victor oshinhem when we still had stars on the team. Victor oshinhem was substituted halfway,his absence weaken the team spirit of the super Eagles. Nigeria will learn from this elimination, perhaps they would stop this from happening again. Victor oshinhem was down and the rest of the team completely lost how to connect to each other in the field.

The fact that Congo beat Nigeria must have upset you so much that you're crying nonstop. Unfortunately, there's no trace left of the old Nigeria. Norway confirmed to be a powerhouse in the qualifiers. Only they and England managed to finish their campaign with all 100% wins.
I'm not sure what the odds were for Italy Vs Norway but I'm guessing Italy were a slight favourite. Italy started well, with an early lead but the last half an hour was a total dominance by Norway. They scored 4 goals in a short time with two goals by Haaland in the space of 2 less than two minutes.
Their goal stats are also truly impressive: 37 goals scored in 8 games, that's almost 5 goals per game on average (4.625 to be precise) and only 5 goals conceded in total. For comparison, the 2nd best scoring team is the Netherlands, with 27 goals scored and 4 conceded.

If they manage to maintain this form to the World Cup, Norway might be one of the favourites.

Frankly, I can't understand how Germany, a team capable of scoring six goals against Slovakia, lost the first match without scoring any goals. There was no rotation in that match either. Woltemade, Wirtz, Gnabry and Goretzka played. They all played in this match too, so the lineup was almost exactly the same. I interpret the loss in the first match as a betting fix, there's no other alternative. Germany has the strength to beat any team when they want to and they proved it today. They secured their World Cup ticket.
