Arda Güler's assist was perfect; it once again showed the whole world why a quality team like Real Madrid signed him. Ferdi Kadığlu just touched the ball and it was a goal. It was really enjoyable to watch.
It wasn't a match with many goals, but at least Turkey won. We have a much better squad than Romania, so this score shouldn't surprise anyone. We could have played more offensively, or at least we need more effective attacks

Romania’s defense was rock solid. It was a real struggle for Turkey but they eventually broke the deadlock.

I don't think problem winning with one goals because enough bring the Turkey to the next round for World Cup Qualifying, one goal from Turkey scored by Ferdi Kadıoğlu at 53th minutes and overall performance of Turkey not really impressive as well as. During 90 minutes only made 2 shots on target but they must improve the performance for the next round match if won't missing the World Cup 2026.

Interested with other qualifying match, Italy playing draw against Northern Ireland at first half match although playing at home Italy looks difficult scoring the goals. Indeed more dominance with ball possession up to 67% at first half match but Italy only made 2 shots on target than Ireland playing full defensive during 45th minutes. Who will be the winner and scoring the goals at second half match or the match extend to penalty kick?

The second halves have started very quickly in some matches.

Denmark went 3–0 up within 20 minutes and the match is currently 3–0.

Kosovo turned the game around from 2–1 to 3–2 away against Slovakia and are now leading.

Italy are 1–0 ahead, but I don’t think they are strong enough to qualify for the World Cup.

Sweden made it 2–0 against Ukraine.

The goals are now coming in hot in the second half, noticeably for the favorite, Denmark are now up by 3 goals, while Italy whom I'm waiting on in order to win a betslip have also taken a 1-0 lead, that's way too close for comfort knowing sloppy the Italians can get, I just wanted to double their lead and my bet would be settle with the 2up payout option.

Turkey really played exceptionally, it felt like Romania couldn't even hold the ball because how intense the Turkey players pressed them. What really awed me in that match was the assist Guler gave to Ferdi, that sight was exceptional, I didn't even think it get to him but he did, sympathy to the Romanian team because they won't be making it to the World Cup.

Damn, how bad Ukraine was today. Expected that it will be equal game without favorite, but Ukraine had nothing to offer today. In qualifiers Sweden were awful, but today we saw their different face.
Maybe from result it looks that Italy struggled, but they were much better team today. A bit surprised about Ireland win against Czechia away. But biggest surprise offcourse is Kosovo away win against Slovakia with 4 goals scored.

Sweden men's national football team performance is very bad in the recent matches because they could not win any match out of 5 matches which they played against different teams and they should try to win at least 2 games which they could not and opponent team performance is very good in last matches as they won 3 matches out of 5 matches and 1 match ended with draw result and 1 match lost by that team. The head to head performance of Ukraine national football team is excellent because they won 1 match which they played against Sweden men's national football team and that was one sided match.

Isak was a great player of his country but he has been unfortunate of this qualifier, if not he could have always done his best on this qualifiers. However Sweden have actually broken Ukraine, I couldn't believe the Sweden beaten Ukraine 3:1 when they have not had any wining on six matches before today, I didn't trust the wining from the time the first goal came from Viktor Gyokeres because I wanted to see what happens next and Viktor Gyokeres took the second and the third, the only wining in seven matches. Denmark took time with North Macedonia before scoring but they still won them 4:0 without North Macedonia getting at them.

Is it possible to edit this thread and add a poll about which team or country people here think will win the World Cup this year? I’m curious what most of the Bitcointalk community thinks about who’s going to win.
As for me, I’m hoping Germany becomes champion this year. I think they didn’t do well in the last World Cup and got upset, right? Maybe this time they bounce back with no surprises. lol

About Sweden vs Ukraine correct me if I'm wrong the is will be held not both in their country so no home advantage. So I think this game can be draw.

That poll is a good idea, it would be cool to see what people think.

Regarding the World Cup, the German national football team is always strong, so it's reasonable to believe they could do better this time.

And about Sweden vs. Ukraine, I also think it's a very balanced match; a draw wouldn't be surprising at all.

Italy was expected to win the game. They didn't succeed to score in the first half but they successfully scored two goals in the second half. No need to mention that Italy totally dominated the game and that Northern Ireland barely made few shots outside of the box..

I cannot believe Wales lost their game. They were one of the favorite teams to reach the World Cup and they were kicked by Bosnia and Herzegovina! Both teams played well overall and penalties were in the side of Wales in the first set before they miss two attempts. It is Italy turn next to avoid being put in the same situation as Wales and lose this golden chance to join FIFA World Cup again.

We now know the final matchups that will decide which teams will secure their spot in the FIFA World Cup 2026

I was lucky enough to watch the Czech Republic's game and it was a beautiful story they made. They started by losing 2-0 and then came back to win and qualify.

Who do you think is making it through? Any dark horses or are the favorites going to deliver?

Bosnia has their diamond who’s still in great form,we all know him, it’s Dzeko. It’s going to be a really tough match for Italy. Honestly, it’s crazy that a team like Italy has to go through the playoffs to get to the world cup. I expected them to qualify directly. Bosnia won’t give up, and i think they’ll give Italy a hard time, even though Italy will be the favorite in that game

Normal they can’t compared Romania with Turkey, their performances has far difference with each other Turkey have better squads than the Romania. That’s why right from before the match kickoff I gave the Turkey hope that they can try by all means to win the match, and indeed they make it possible even as the Romanian try to hold them tight in the first half; they change pattern of their playing in the second half and open the net with a clean goal immediately they came back to second half.

The Czech Republic drew 2-2 with Ireland. Ireland got off to a fast start in the first half. They managed to take a 2-0 lead in the 23rd minute, but the Czech Republic didn’t give up and ended the first half trailing 2-1. In the second half, the Czech Republic increased the pressure, scored their second goal, and forced the match into extra time. With the score remaining tied in extra time, the match went to a penalty shootout, where the Czech Republic managed to defeat their opponent 4-3.

Both of this team have been away from the World Cup for so long and this will be a very important game for them to actually play, the Bosnian team had to fight it out with great British nation and seriously I didn’t have them as my choice in that round because I thought the Wales will have more advantage playing in Cardiff but the Bosnian were seriously determined and I think they will still give their all in the last game against Italy but for me the Italians have been seriously away from the tournament for so long and this is another golden opportunity for them to actually get back again after losing the direct qualification to Norway.

For me the game I am most interested in is the Türkiye vs Kosovo game, this game is one of the reason why this expansion was made such that nations like Kosovo can get qualified to the World Cup finals, but I strongly doubt a nation like Türkiye is actually ready to give them that opportunity, I feel we might see an upset in this game

Sweden, Italy, Denmark and Turkey are the most likely teams as they played well in the play-off matches and will definitely qualify for the World Cup. The performance of these countries is very good and they have brought good results which will qualify them for the World Cup. Italy though will try hard to maintain their performance and every team played their best to qualify. They will definitely enter the play-off matches but anyway these teams played very well and they will improve their chances of qualifying for the next round.
