yesterday i came across a funny interview with an Italian football fan. he said, “i actually hope Italy loses to Bosnia and Herzegovina and doesn’t make it to the World Cup.
that way, we won’t embarrass ourselves there.” ... i really had to laugh when I watched it… what a cool fan 

That guy actually knows if Italy goes to the World Cup, it will add nothing. However, it's also a disappointment to see an italian who lost a respect over his own nation. I know what he said was a bitter truth, but his nation can at least stop the bad record for not to qualify for the world cup.

Italy have been missing WC for two times in a row. It will be so bad if they also miss it for the third times. If it happens, his nation will always be mocked for the next 4 years.

That's a honest truth, I remember when the Nigerian team had an opportunity to be in the play-off and my honest wish was that they don't end up going there cause they're not in a better position to represent Africa, they'll end up going there to leave in the group stage and that's a fact.
 I totally understand what it means for the country of a footballer lover to miss representing the nation for twice in a row, it's very shameful,. However there's no harm in trying, maybe they could go there to do better and clear the past impression people have concerning their football performance.

Not going to work. Italy failed to qualify for the FIFA world cup in the previous two occasions (2018 and 2022). But it didn't did anything good to their performance. I think this time Italy deserves to be in the tournament. BTW, Bosnia is still dependent on the 40-year old Edin Džeko. Compared to them, Italy has a much more balanced squad. And I had posted about this before. Italy at the moment has some of the best young footballers active in international football. Anyway, only a few hours remain for the matches to start. Let's wait and watch. Bosnia and Herzegovina vs Italy kicks off at 12:15 am Indian time (18:45 GMT).

The main problem for this Italian team are themselves i mean they have a ton of pressure behind their backs and if they start to crack under that pressure is gonna be uphill for them and is gonna be very bad and Bosnia can have a chance of take advantage of that, i feel like Bosnia lacks the quality to do it but as i said Italy pressure can open the gates for the Bosnian team.

Kosovo should not be underestimated right now, if you look at their recent matches, in the World Cup qualifiers they drew at home against Switzerland, which is currently a very strong team. They also beat Slovenia and Sweden away. And as we saw in their previous match, they managed to defeat Slovakia away, which honestly seemed almost impossible to me. And that they scored four goals from five shots on target, an extremely high conversion rate. I think Turkey should be particularly wary of their attack and play very carefully in defense. And honestly, I believe Kosovo has every chance to avoid defeat against Turkey in regular time.

I have not seen them performing on the pitch but from what you are saying they might beat Turkey. Turkey is not good as Switzerland and Kosovo could drew with them and beat all those countries then Turkey is gone. They have to play defensive game more with less attacks and if they will be attacking more to score, Kosovo will score them.

This indicates that fans are deeply disappointed with Italy's performance over more or less the last 10 years or so, or more precisely, since Italy won the World Cup. Italy has been in decline, and as a major team, they are truly in a slump, having recorded their worst ever record, failing to qualify for the World Cup twice in a row. And this time, even if Italy qualifies for the World Cup, they likely won't make it past the group stage. Therefore, many Italian fans are deeply disappointed with the Italian National Team.

Bosnia isn't a team that you can subconsciously underestimate. We've seen them win games they weren't the favourites to win and against Italy today, they're very much aware that it's a win or exit affair so you should expect them to unleash every damn arsenal at their disposal.
Italy has the a better edge in terms of quality of players and are expected to win today's game but they'll need to be at their best or risk getting eliminated by the underdogs.

Italy have 4 World Cup titles and they are only behind Brazil in World Cup title records but the last World Cup they joined is in 2014, and since the last title they won in 2006, it's already 20 years. In 2010 and 2014 World Cup tournaments, they did not pass the group phase which was disappointed but it became worse in World Cup 2018 and 2022 when they even did not win playoff matches to be there.

It's surprising that during two disappointed and terrible World Cup propaganda in 2018 and 2022, they still managed to win Euro 2020 but hosted one year later in 2021 as consequence of Covid-19. Their Italian player resource and quality is actually worse than 20 years ago but they are still good enough to be in World Cup 2026. It is just too high pressure on their players before playoff matches with North Ireland, and now Bosnia. Let's see how Gattuso and his players perform in the final playoff in coming hours.

I respect the point of view of this guy and I would say that even Bosnia and Herzegovina presence in the World Cup will add nothing. At least Italy could pass the group stage. I doubt Bosnia could do it. In the other hand, it will Bosnia second presence in the World Cup ever while Italy could cut the bad luck and qualify to the world cup finally after eight years of absence..
Only few hours to see the game and see if the Italian team will humiliate themselves or give some hopes to their people.

I think today's game of Italy, unlike the others, is a fairly easy choice for making a money bet - the odds of 1.47 well reflect the risk and the fact that the previous game was easy for Italy, while Bosnia and Herzegovina spent all their energy to win in the penalty shootout. The other games are much less clear to me, especially the Sweden-Poland game, I really want Sweden not to get to the World Cup, but it seems like they are still the favorites today.

Turkiye national team should be on top of this game because they don't look that weak compared to their opponent Kosovo. It should be an easy one that the goals should start coming from the first half, smashing Kosovo like they are nothing in this encounter but if should anything surprising happens then Turkiye as the visiting team should be blamed for not booking a ticket to the world Cup. The odds for both countries is very much tempting and the host nation should pose more threats in this encounter, both teams should take advantage of their chances and I also expect a much stronger defense from both sides.

At this point every team is just one match away from going into the world cup, no team that has gotten to this stage of the qualifiers should be seen as a weak opponent. Yes many including me wants Italy going into the world cup because of the history that they has when it comes to football as they have won the world cup more than once. But that will not count here because their opponents too wants to get into the world cup and so will be coming out with everything that they have in within them.


Infact all the qualifiers that will be taking place will be tough I will be following the game between Jamaica vs DRC Congo. I will be hoping that DRC will make it to the world cup.
