I’m watching the match and, to be honest, it doesn’t look as though the injuries have had much of an impact. He will play with high motivation & spirit in the world cup after he won the Champions League title with Paris Saint-Germain.

Being in Group K is another advantage that Portugal has, in my opinion the only problem for them later will be Colombia, not sure Uzbekistan & Congo can put pressure on Portugal

I think it will be the same as in previous World Cups and also in the EURO. usually, Cristiano Ronaldo always starts the game and is then substituted in the second half. And this usually applies whether it’s an easy match or a game against a strong team.

I thought one of the reasons for creating tournaments like this is to unite the world together in one place but in this case it’s not. Ronaldo is s indeed one player that has disciplined himself and that is one of the secrets of his lasting lifespan as a player which has , helped him to stay at the top for a long time. However he needs to know that he can't perform optimally at this level for ever. No matter how we try to fight it, at a certain point our old age will still get to us. Ronaldo is one of the few players that have done so well in telling the football world that dedication, hardwork and will power can go along way despite the fact that he is getting old, Ronaldo will be a crucial figure in this world cup for Portugal and that's a fact even the critics can't deny but this for sure will be his last for the nation and he has enjoyed a successful career too except for the trophy of the world cup that have continually eluded him.

This is not about Ronaldo's fitness at his age, it is more of the rivalry between him and Lionel Messi. Ronaldo doesn't want to retire when Messi is still active and winning more trophies. Though reaching 1000th goals could be the target of Ronaldo but what i just said about him and Messi is most likely to be the point. Ronaldo should acknowledge that he is old and retire honorably. He has a lot of achievements in his football career so it's high time for his era to be over.
