Not every team is a contender for the championship. Some teams have already achieved success simply by participating in the tournament. We need to be realistic, because realism is good. You won't see Iraq or any other small team claiming the championship. Of course, that's football, and unless there's a big surprise, such success doesn't come. There is no country that I favor in this world cup except Italy but unfortunately they failed to qualify for the third time (sad), and what is surprising is that this world cup is really not that enthusiastic because there is a lot of pressure when the players arrive at the airport, plus there are a lot of mistakes in running this distribution event. The match dates of some countries is the reason why they're still in friendly till now while those who would be the first country have left the friendly game but however after some friendly match on Thursday June 11 , also the first day of the world cup the friendly will stop. My experience in betting those friendly is just equal with the lost I had and the wining I also had because it wasn't all the time the big countries won because it was mostly those countries I was staking bet on, England team has some discrepancy from there performance and they only win New Zealand because they met an underdog.

I thought I'm the only one who's still wondering why they are still playing friendlies up up till this time even countries that qualified for the world are still playing friendlies till now and the tournament will start tomorrow being 11th of June. I understand that some of them are scheduled to play on Monday, but aren't they supposed to already be at their respective world cup venues? Some of these countries played yesterday and today, some will still play at the early hours of tomorrow and based on my time zone.

Facing Portugal in a friendly game a day before the kick off of the FIFA World Cup I don't think should be of much interest. The Portugal players will play the game with all carefulness so they don't sustain injury. Again if you look at the Nigeria squad, they're without their two most prolific attackers in the person of Victor Osimhen and Ademola Lookman.
