Yes Paraguay has better football history than the USA but for the USA to comfortably win Paraguay 4:1 i agree the USA team played better than Paraguay because that is the only means the USA team could hammer Paraguay 4:1. Paraguay losing to the USA 4:1 is a bad way for them to start the world cup and it could cause them to exist the world cup in the group stage.

I wasn't expecting the host country to lose their first match, but the goals took me unawares honestly. 4 goals to 1 against Paraguay, seems like they didn't prepare for the outcome. The first goal came in so early and to be frank, it gave them an edge and their confidence level dropped drastically.

Folarin Balogun was the team's talisman. He carried the team, made 3 shot attempts, scored 2 of those in style. The way he made paraguay's defense helpless added even more beauty to the game. Meanwhile, Christian Pulisic has suffered so many injuries and I think that has contributed to his low activity in the game. He only gave an assist, unlike his younger self who'd have scored plenty goals as well.

I think everyone expected U.S to get a win in the match, they play better than Paraguay in the match, scoring 4 goals is just what I never expected in the match, the United state dominated the match, and they were able to win. I was just expecting a slight goal difference in the match, but the U.S surprised me by scoring 4 goals in the match. United state secured a win in their first match, and they currently at the top of the table which is really a nice one, I hope they going to continue with their good performance.

although there are very good football players in the US and Canada, their football culture at the national level is close to zero. it's quite low. it is only the fourth or fifth most popular sport. in fact, many Americans even make fun of the sport they call soccer, which is why i think this was a very wrong choice. Here where I am it's crazy, everyone says the USA will reach the final, in the betting everyone here was going for the USA, but from what I saw of the game the USA was playing too well, some said that it looks like the Brazil of about 20 years ago, because they would lose a pass and recover it, the defense didn't look like a defense, everyone was attacking, the goalkeeper of the USA needed to play more, but the demonstration of football that he gave was phenomenal.

USA performance against Paraguay was really spectacular; it was the most entertaining match so far. I know that USA will win Paraguay but not with that goal margin. I even learnt that this is the first time that USA is scoring up to 4 goals in a world cup match, i don't know if it is true though. Folarin Balogun proved his worth at AS Monaco by scoring a brace that light the stadium for his country of birth USA. If he put up more classic performances in the World cup, he might start attracting attention from other clubs. Besides, the world cup creates opportunities for players to be visible which helps them to attract bigger teams during the transfer window. At the very least, I think they have a high chance of finishing in the top two. So far in the games that they have played I think the only game that have caught attention is the one that the USA have played and they have also made it mandatory that their game would be a win which they deliver and in a very fashionable way. They have sent out a very strong statement to other too in the competition but let's all wait and watch to see if it's just a one hit wonder performance or they can replicate same thing through the competition.

Brazil vs Morocco should be an interesting match; it's a shame I won't be able to watch it since the game kicks off so late. The Morocco national team is strong, boasting plenty of good, high-quality players who feature for top European clubs. However, the Brazilians are the flagship of world football, plus they are led by the legendary and experienced manager Carlo Ancelotti. He has managed massive clubs and knows how to build a solid squad and foster the right atmosphere, which is incredibly important in tournaments like this. I wouldn't say the Brazilians are clear favorites, but they certainly have a better chance of winning.
