Netherlands started well and I thought this match would be very difficult, but the Netherlands won by a big margin where Sweden could not put up any resistance. Netherlands' victory by just 5-1 goals will definitely keep them far ahead.

The Netherlands have so far secured 4 points from the two matches they have played. Of course, the victory over Sweden has given them a better chance of going further in the 2026 World Cup, but there is no guarantee that the Netherlands will easily advance to the next round. The next match will likely be easier, given that Tunisia appears weaker than either Sweden or Japan, but I wouldn't go so far as to guarantee an easy win for the Netherlands in that game.

I am looking up to the match between Germany and ivory coast. This match is going to be a match that will show the true strength of both teams. I said so because Germany's first leg was against a week aside and they were able to score a whooping seven goals in a World Cup match, which is something that is very rare.

In the other hand ivory coast was able to win, but I do not consider their opponent to be a strong contender to ivory coast even if FIFA rating says otherwise. So ivory coast and Germany coming together this night will have to prove a point that either ivory coast is equal to the task or Germany is overrated because of the weaker opposition they faced

The Dutch are running rampage on the Swedes, on the last game, it was the Swedes that demolished Tunisia 4 - 0, today they are on the receiving end of such demolition. Netherland has gotten back from their draw against Japan with a deserved win today. With 4 points now, although they have not yet officially qualified for the next round, if they are to win against Tunisia they will definitely top the ground thanks to their superior goal difference at the moment. Agreed. Scotland is absolutely rubbish in this game. The way they play don't even show they have a spirit to win. Even if they played defensively, they shoud have done it better. I know Morrocco was a better side, but scotland seems put no effort here. Things also get worsen with how bias the refree in this game. If Scotland can't equalize this, they don't have chance against Brazil. There are still some minutes remaining. They have to go all in to secure one point at very least.

I also hugely criticized how Tominay sounds try to be another ronaldo by trying to do by himself too much. He just need to pass to his teammate and let them score it for you.

Imagine how useless they made McTominay look in that encounter, nothing productive came out of the game and they really don't need to be among the teams that would advance into the next round.

If Scotland pushed Tominay to play a bit further upfront. I believe he would able to explore more to get a chance to score or at very least he could also hunting a pen for his club. However, it's very scotland was unable to utilize his performance. So he looked so damn regressed in this game. 

It's my only wish for scotland in the upcoming game to get give more freedome for tominay to create chance.

I rate him the only one who can become the backbone of his club. The rest of scotland players such as McGinn and Tierany didn't meet the standard because how slow they were when carrying the ball for their teammates.

Scotland is basically mctominay FC. Once they fails to utilize Tominay brilliance, they play like a low ranked football nation.

The Napoli man was played out of position and this formation Scotland coach used made most of the players to run down their strength before the end of the first half and the whole thing about Scotland is just annoying and this will never help them go far. Just finished the match between Netherlands vs Sweden. It was an exciting match with plenty of attacking moments where Both teams tried to show their best skill & quality. But Netherlands looked more confident & dominating from the beginning. And their two early goals by B. Brobbey,, made Sweden in trouble. Team Sweden struggled to control the match after falling behind. Sweden tried to fight back but Netherlands defense remained organized. After start of second half, Netherlands player Cody Gakpo graped the opportunity and scored two more goals while Sweden luckily have the one goal but they looked in pressure as they would needed more three goal to equalized the match. Well Sweden will need to improve their defensive balance as well as decision making stargey. The match also showed how important to get focused and confidence, fearless streanth can completely change the direction of a game.

Their overall performance was bad but I believe they started getting things heated at the later end of the qualifying game because they showed resilience and that was what made them even qualified for the world cup. But this defeat today shows that they are in no place ready to face other teams in the competition although they still have chance of qualifying if they can win Japan who are also a very good side to play.

Brobbey had some excellent positioning in this game, getting those slight touches to give him two goals. They weren’t easy executions though, he had to stretch himself out to get those touches. The Swedish team were a little unlucky, scored a goal that could have brought the scores to 2:1 in the first half and that could have being a moral boost for them but, the goal was disallowed due to a slight offside. Gyokeres played a good free kick and it got saved very close to the bar. Coming this close to getting goals only to have it saved ruled out their chances of any equalizer in this.

I saw the performance of Netherlands in today’s game, it was really incredible and they were able to score up to five goals with their opponent Sweden being able to score a goal throughout the match. If not for their start match draw, this would have been a flawless qualification to the next round of the competition. I haven’t really watched any of Japan’s match, but I still think Netherlands can prevail against them and make it to the next round regardless. Their win in today’s game will be a booster for them and I know that they can be able to do something in the Japan’s game no matter what to make it to the round of 32 of the competition.

Damn, this is one hell of a prediction. Ivory Coast scored the first goal. I was expecting Germany to score at any moment and taking the lead, but then all of a sudden Ivory Coast counter attacked and scored a goal. This is a big turning point in thematch.    

I placed a huge bet on Germany to win and if they do not score an equalizer soon, the pressure on me will increase just as much as it will for the Germans.

I, for one, was quite surprised by what happened in the first half; it’s clear that Ivory Coast is indeed a strong team as well. So right now, we can even see that the two teams are fairly evenly matched. What I didn’t expect was that Germany would concede first. by the 30th minute, Ivory Coast was already leading 0-1. I’m worried Germany will struggle to score. However, I still believe Germany can equalize, perhaps in the second half and then turn the game around. That’s because Ivory Coast usually slows down the pace a bit after taking the lead, and Germany will surely take advantage of that.

Before the match started, if someone had told me that this match would end 5-1, I would definitely have argued against it because I never thought Sweden would give the Netherlands so many chances to score goals.I also see Sweden as a great team, but football is unpredictable and sometimes comes with surprising results. With this victory, I would say that it is a great opportunity for the Netherlands to qualify for the Round of 16 easily because their match against Tunisia will likely be their easiest game.Sweden also needs to be very careful; otherwise, they may fail to qualify for the Round of 16. Their next match will be against Japan, and I know that will not be an easy game for them, especially if Japan wins their next match against Tunisia, which I think is likely to happen.
