The USA are very close to going into the half-time break 1–0 up against Australia. The USA were a team with a strong chance of topping this group, and they are highly likely to do so. If they win this match, we will see them top the group even if they draw their next match against Turkey. Turkey must not lose to Paraguay; in fact, they need to win. A victory in this match is essential.

USA vs Australia will be a tough game but it's a matter of who knows how to one-up the other that will win the game. Both teams are going into the game with three points and they are both going to make sure they win to help them qualify to the next round and if either side don't play their cards right, the best they can get is a draw.

I understand the frustration among Portugal fans and why they blamed the players for their failure to win DR Congo, because Portugal was supposed to win DR Congo comfortable. I didn't watch the first half of the Portugal vs DR Congo match, with the way football fans were blaming Cristiano Ronaldo for the 1-1 they played in the first half against DR Congo and saying he should be sub off in the second half I thought Cristiano Ronaldo was missing goals up and down. When I watched the match from second half, I saw how good DR Congo defense was and how they marked down Cristiano Ronaldo making it difficult for him to gain good balance before attempting to score, even the two shots he had in that match it was act of his sharpness that he was able to shoot the ball before DR Congo defenders could clear the ball from danger. I'm not surprised that Cristiano Ronaldo is being blamed for Portugal failure to win their first match because he's always seen as the person causing Portugal to perform poorly.

It's too easy to point to one individual as the cause of a team's failure in a big match. Such a world class player as Cristiano Ronaldo is always a major focus upon the monitoring of his opponents, yet in this match I also felt something new. I entirely concur what you noticed in the second half. Football takes good team work to score goals with a well defended opponent.

Tonight the Scottish national team will face the Moroccan national team in the second round of the World Cup. Scotland has been performing quite well by having defeated Haiti in their last match. Scotland facing Morocco is like facing Brazil in this World Cup, fine Brazil are not that good to make opposition play in a way that it will be the opponent defending but yet again Brazil can still cause some damage. Now back to the game at hand, Scotland and Morocco might not be the kind of countries to give us the kind of game we expected but I know how the Moroccans played Brazil that the game was a balanced game and if Scotland think they are going to hang on to the ball and do their defending till full 90'mins then Morocco will get an easy win, they are yet to secure their first win so they will come all out to beat Scotland. If you ask me I'd go for Morocco to get a win in this game, Scotland can try matching up their strength but playing Brazil with that crazy energy Scotland can withstand it, a win for Morocco.

If not for the way this FIFA world cup is going, I'd say Scotland is no match for Morroco no doubt, judging from the last World cup till this very one we can all see how formidable Morroco is compared to Scotland, and again if there's any African teams I trust too well to go far on this tournament I'd say that's this Morrocan team, but since the world cup is not going as expected I won't be too quick to conclude, but if we should face the fact Scotland is never a match for Morroco despite what, so if I'm to bet on this game I'd pick Morroco win or draw.

Yes, Morocco are really at the top of their game, no dullness and they also bring that same vibe of last world only difference is that they are doing things in a much higher pace, they see every country as a threat to them so they can't come out and start underrating the opposition team. Scotland can fight for a draw like I said but ones they start losing the ball then they should forget it and start defending because the Force of Diaz and En-Nesyri when they stretch their legs to complete a counter it will be hard to stop them. Win or draw is the safest in this game.

It is certain that the US will advance to the next round if they are able to maintain their victory until the end of the match against Australia.
