if you don't have a good forward, if you don't have clinical players and if you fail to analyze the rival team properly, none of these stats matter. Turkey lacked finishing forwards.

Crazy to think that the last time they qualified for a WC (before this one) they ended up winning bronze medals!

That was 24 years ago though and that team was notoriously stronger but it is still a bit sad their comeback was so short this time. They still deserved better, just were very unlucky.

Ismael Saibari is a beast of his own class. I haven't seen more of how he plays in PSV, but the world cup has revealed his true potentials and at this point, defenders in every group teams, even as they qualify for the knockout stages are scared of him. I'm trying to imagine how he crafted out that goal against Scotland--- the timing, the control, the pace, the shot power , everything was perfectly executed.

The Dutch are running rampage on the Swedes, on the last game, it was the Swedes that demolished Tunisia 4 - 0, today they are on the receiving end of such demolition. Netherland has gotten back from their draw against Japan with a deserved win today. With 4 points now, although they have not yet officially qualified for the next round, if they are to win against Tunisia they will definitely top the ground thanks to their superior goal difference at the moment. Japan will face Tunisia at the early hours of tomorrow and will be hoping to get their first win against the African team. Let's wait and see if there will be an upset or it will go as predicted.

Well, this match was really good because I really enjoyed the Dutch Bros like they they dominated the entire game with pretty numerous of goals and ultimate alliance. In previous match they were bit sloppy like against Japan thye draw their first match but fortunately they got succeed and won the match Sweden. Everything in life is about the right choice, but it must mix with the right timing as well to avoid issues. It's evident today that Deniz Undav was tactically the right choice, but was benched also for tactical reason, which would have gone sore. On realising the situation, Nagelsmann made the right call. No harm in him delaying that much to further test the strength of Jamal Musiala, but that was a close call, TBH. There will be enough backlash for him for not starting the guy soon enough. Ivory Coast had just few minutes left for them to defend the game and become the first African nation to make it to the next round of the competition, but they misused that opportunity and missed it, we will have to wait for the last game before getting to know if Ivory Coast makes it to the round of 32. I don’t like how these defenders stand lose to allow the super substitute score, they’ll regret that goal if they don’t make it to the next round of the competition.

Adingra is also a player I really blame in this loss, Pepe did a great job to push a counter attack through their half to the half of their opponent, only to pass the ball to Adingra who is to control and score but end up controlling to his opponent and they missed that chance at scoring. Ivory coast may be defeated but it will not be an easy defeat, they are not a team to underestimate in the world cup. They don’t need to be in a weak group to be the better team, they have to prove themselves where they are right now by, beating the presumably better teams and if they can manage that, they would have far less presumably better team to play against.

There game today against Germany was a good one, though they lost in the end, it wasn’t an easy game for Germany, they had to persist really hard before they got their first goal and later a second. The second goal though was what I didn’t expect the Ivorian team to allow but, this is the beautiful game of football.

I was disappointed in some of the Ivory Coast players after they lost to Germany, like I watched this game from the beginning to the very end and saw the chances created by Ivory Coast in the second half but they have some poor players if not all the chances that was created by Amad should have been converted to goals but they missed those beautiful chances. Germany didn't give up the manager was very smart to have made changes and his victory came because he made the best decision in the second half.

Netherlands paid back what Sweden did to Tunisia and I'm happy because Tunisia and Sweden will be more serious in their next match.
