It is like everyone is sleeping and no one is watching or following up on the Ecuador match. I'm just wondering how a team can have so much chance to score but squandered all of it. I know how you feel about Ecuador result after they were always bombing Curacao. However, they failed to do that because how Brilliance room in this game. Look at his rating. He's the only one who getting so close to the 8 while rest of his teammates even below 6.
This basically a game between Ecuador vs Room, not Curacao.

Nevertheless, i admit many of Ecuador shoots were always going straight to the near post, and it's also often going straight to the Room. So i guess the result is fair because room is performing as best goalie in this game while Ecuador often wasted their chance.

This makes Japan very ambitious to achieve their first win in this World Cup especially since they managed to hold the Netherlands to a draw in their first match. This demonstrates the strength and quality of Japan's current players as they managed to hold the Netherlands to a draw in their first match especially in their first match yesterday against one of the most competitive teams the Netherlands.

Am surprised how gakpo is scoring lots of goals at his country side because the man has a way of missing alot of chances and I have tag him for that a lot of time,  I wouldn't be surprised if the number of chances he had to miss in this game was more than the few that he scored, I didn't watch the game but coupled with the fact that he got two goals must have shown that the game was an open affair just surprised how Sweden themselves didn't get to score more when they have the like of isak and gyokeres.

It's best to say that he has been unlucky or he is struggling with adaptation in the colours of Liverpool, because we have seen how effective and efficient he is most times when they are playing to his strength. With time he will adapt properly and he will get use to their playing pattern, because I still feel that adaptation and too much pressure on him might be the cause of his struggles at Liverpool, but in this world cup, he is doing just fine.

As for the swedish team, I was really disappointed in their outing today because I expected better, even though I knew that the Netherlands were the superior side, but since they won Tunisia 5-1 in the first game, I thought that they would have given this Netherland team a good fight, but I was wrong.

With so many attacks they could not successfully put a goal on the goal post which resulted in them having to end the match in a draw. These two teams are equal on points but Ecuador has enough qualification to go to the next round if they can win the next match then they will definitely qualify. However I think it will be very challenging for Ecuador because their next match is going to be against Germany which may fail to bring them victory. I guess you did the right thing betting on Japan in this match. They looked focused and eager to win today. They are in 2-0 lead. Thanks to Daichi Kamada, who scored early in the 4th minute of the game, and then Ayase Ueda scored the 2nd goal near the 30th minute with his powerful strike. Japan had a draw with Netherlands previously, so this win is very crucial for them.
For Tunisia, they really need to respond in the second half.

Currently Tunisia are very busy collecting 2nil from the Japanese side at half time, well is never a new thing because I have always see Tunisia as one of the weakest side in that group F, as long as you play your game well and have an encounter against Tunisia even if you lose your first game just make sure of snatching the 3pt . From how things are going it seems like Japan is going to occupy the number 2 spot while Sweden will drop out from that position while we wait on the last group game to make the final decision on which country that will be at number 1 and 2. Mentally they are also very strong especially the game pattern they play is certainly true as you mentioned because they have never changed coaches during several world cups so this makes them very easy and fast to organize the game at most every world cup they only make a few players overhaul because they prefer players who are relatively young so their projection is right in building a philosophy for regeneration for the future level so this is proven and goes as they planned every time the world cup they always show the best performance even though sometimes there are some new players who join their squad but still quickly find the game pattern as applied in their coach's scheme even though I am more English who won this time but Japan makes me understand that regeneration is really needed in a professional football team.

Omo, Ivory Coast scored first today in Toronto against Germany. This is unbelievable to me. Now I believe that football is full of surprises. Jessie opened the scoreline on the 30rh minutes to take the lead as the scoreline is currently, 1-0. However, there is enough time for the Germans to get an equaliser. This match isn't looking easy for the Germans like their first game.

The first half is over, and Ivory Coast still has a one-goal lead. This is truly a huge surprise, and if Ivory Coast can maintain this score until the end, they will automatically qualify from the group stage.
Actually, this isn't a big surprise, as Ivory Coast are indeed strong at the moment. In fact, I question Germany's strength, as I don't think the German team is particularly good at this year's World Cup.

Ivory Coast defense is very strong and unbreakable for the Germans in the first half. They tried all their best but they could only get two goals that was ruled out. I am not Asian but I think I am one of their  supporter  in this world  cup just as you've predicted  the japan match is currently  playing  4-0 at stoppage  time, an easy win for the japan team setting  them up for the next stage. Deniz Undav is surely the most decisive substitute we've seen in this edition of the World Cup so far. What a game. Germany was very lucky in this match and was finally able to win the  match. The Ivory Coasts got the lead in the first half. The German players could not take any advantage. They were able to score 2 goals in the first half, but both were disallowed. In the second half, Undav's goal equalized the match. And after  90 minutes, Undav scored his second goal in injury time and Germany secured a  2-1 victory. Germany scored in the last minute of the match.
