Germany was just lucky to claim all the three point in this game, because ivory coast was the cause of their own losing. After the Germany team got an equalizer early in the second half, they had an opportunity to score an important goal in the 87 minutes, which would have changed the context of the game after then, but the opportunity was wasted, which emboldened the German national team to go for the winner and they eventually got it in the 94th minutes of the game. So ivory coast was the cause of their own losing last night because their performance was really really good, which they didn't deserve to go without a point at least.

Ivory Coast's performance surprised everyone. We knew that the team was not weak. But it was unexpected for me that they would perform so well against a giant  team like germany. I had bet on Germany winning. I thought I would lose the bet. The match was 1-1 until 90 minutes. Deniz Undav saved germany in the last minute. Undav scored both goals in the match. Undav managed to score a  goal in the first match as well. He scored three goals in two matches. Germany's  attack is very strong and most of the players are in good form.

Germany really made me think, Germany scored a great goal in the very very last moment in 94 minutes, and finally won the match by 2-1. It was a really great goal, Felix Nmecha made a clean pass through all the Ivory Coast defense and Deniz Undav finished the goal beautifully. This goal was really a great goal. But all in all, Ivory Coast really put Germany under a lot of pressure throughout the match, I really didn't expect Germany to work so hard to win this match, but in the end, Germany won the match by 2-1 goal.

If this match had ended in a draw, things could have gotten very interesting in the group. All teams would have had a high chance of advancing to the next round, and the upcoming matches would have been very exciting.
Now, Germany has secured both victories as expected, and since they are one of the tournament's contenders, losing points in these matches would have been undesirable for them. We can say that Ivory Coast missed their opportunity

There is a really nice competition for the lead in Group F right now by the way. Japan got a huge win like 4-0 over Tunisia which helped them equalize goal difference with Netherlands.

Japan humiliated Tunisia today, honestly I never expected Tunisia to concede so many goals in the match, I expected a better performance from them in the match, but they ended up disappointing me. Tunisia have not been able to win any match since the competition started, they lost the two matches which they have played. Tunisia have been conceding goals heavily in the two matches which they have played, and their next match will be against Netherlands, am sure they going to be losing the match also. Tunisia have been kicked out of the World Cup already, they have nothing to fight for again.

They have the same points too now. But of course Netherlands are in the lead thanks to the H2H result. I see Netherlands playing against Tunisia in their last match so there is no way they are losing the lead I think.  

That’s a match that Netherlands are never going to lose, they not even going to find the game difficult to win, all what Tunisia are suppose to fight for in the match is how they going to reduce the goals which they are going to concede.

Germany vs. Ivory Coast and Netherlands vs. Sweden are the two matches worth watching tonight and both should be entertaining.

I see Germany as the clear favorites and I think they'll win comfortably against Ivory Coast.

These games should be really entertaining and interesting altogether being that these are big teams meeting each other even as the Germany Vs Ivory coast game isn't seeming so for some people. Germany may be the favourite but I can argue that they won't have an easy win against Ivory coast, this isn't Curacao, they're one of the best national teams in Africa and wouldn't let the Germany team to intimidate them that easily.

But even then, when it comes to strength, Germany is far ahead of Ivory Coast, and this match is definitely a very likely win for Germany. Ivory Coast can put up some pressure, but they won't be able to stop Germany, Germany will never lose in the match, Germany has a high chance of winning here, but if the match is very tough, then the match can reach a maximum draw, but Ivory Coast will never be able to beat Germany at least. The match will be very exciting, I will watch the match to see Germany's great victory.

For strength, the Germany team is stronger than the Ivory coast team but we saw the game and we can't say that Germany won it so easily as you guys had earlier expected. I think that the Brazilian national team actually performed better in this match than in their previous game against Morocco, where they had struggled to create clear-cut scoring opportunities. But in their most recent match against Haiti Brazil played much better by creating numerous clear-cut scoring opportunities. And they managed to score three goals from several opportunities they capitalized on effectively. So I personally think that Brazil can still go further if their performance continues to improve in upcoming matches by strengthening every line of their team to better coordinate and even work together seamlessly to dominate every game. And I think Brazil is starting to show positive changes given the continued development of their playing style. But I think Brazil needs to improve their offense so they can create more scoring opportunities or even capitalize on those opportunities more effective. Next Brazil will face Scotland. And I’m confident that in that upcoming match they’ll definitely dominate the game even more or even win it easily. Scotland’s loss to Morocco has made me even more certain that Brazil will win. I'm still not sure Brazil will lift the trophy. But I'm sure they'll at least go further.

Therefore, in my opinion, the Brazilian players' sluggish performance in the second half was not due to the weakness of the Brazilian team. I think there's more to it than bad luck or superstition.

Would be nice to see the history made this time but I don't believe it. Psychologically latest stages are the toughest and this is when managers need to be more than just managers.

I haven't seen anything so far that would justify Brazil's odds at this world cup. BTW, Stake has downgraded their odds to win the trophy. Latest odds are:

Previously, for both Brazil and Argentina, the odds were same (11.00). Argentina moved up, while Brazil went down after the initial set of matches. Same with France and Spain. France has moved up, while Spain got downgraded.

Japan managed to secure a high-scoring victory over Tunisia. Tunisia thus became yet another team to bid farewell to the World Cup. Japan went into halftime leading 2-0 and scored two more goals in the second half to win 4-0, tying the Netherlands in points. Since the Netherlands will play its final match against Tunisia, it will most likely advance from the group as the leader. The final match in this group will clearly be a crucial one for Japan and Sweden. Whichever team wins will finish the group in second place.
