Some will say Spain did well today but in my personal pov, it was poor. The side they played against had nothing working for them so it's something they should have capitalized upon and scored a lot of goals. See the way Germany made light work of Curacao, that should have been the same thing that Spain should have done.
Spain also easily defeated the Saudi Arabia team today but you are right that their margin of victory was smaller than Germany's. At first glance it seems that the Saudi Arabia team is much more trained than the Curacao team, yet I noticed that Spain was aggressive from the early stages of today's game. However, it was very important for Spain to get full points from today's game as everyone may have noticed that they drew against Cabo Verde in their first match of this World Cup. In this situation, it seems that if Spain can win against Uruguay in their upcoming FIFA World Cup match, then I think this team will have a chance to advance to the knockout round.

Or could be that you weren't impressed not that they were completely poor. At least, they can build on momentum with this win today today to the next. They have to make sure the next fixture against Uruguay results in a win and the mandatory three points.
Do not compare them both. It is completely unnecessary.
It is not over yet, there's Turkish national team who played everything and didn't win shit, so. The win speaks for them.

It was a very comfortable match for Spain. They wrapped up the game in the first half and defeated Saudi Arabia 4–0 with a dominant performance. After their surprising draw in the opening match, they responded exactly as expected and showed why they are considered one of the favorites to win the World Cup.

Curacao also deserve a lot of credit. Considering the quality of their squad, they are producing excellent results.
They managed to score against Germany and last night they earned their first-ever World Cup point with a 0–0 draw against Ecuador. Their goalkeeper put in a phenomenal performance to keep a clean sheet.
They still have a chance of advancing from the group, and I'm sure they'll fight until the very end.

Spain came out on top today with confidence and they attacked Saudi Arabia from the start. They scored 3 goals in the first half, Lamine Yamal scored his first goal of the World Cup against Saudi Arabia in today's match. However, by winning today's match, Spain collected their important three points and they kept their hopes alive to qualify for the next round. Spain defeated Saudi Arabia today with a total score of 4-0, the first match was very disappointing for Spain, they tried hard but could not win. However, they won against Saudi Arabia very easily today and they attacked enough and in the end they won by a big margin.

In a match that Yamal scored his first World Cup goal, Spain just destroyed Saudi Arabia 4-0.  Smiley  How couldn't they do it against Cape Verde in the first place? It's still a mystery... Or just a bad luck maybe.

But I still have doubts on Spain's journey here. Because if you noticed they haven't been great in World Cups as much as Euros. Who knows maybe they will be eliminated in an unexpected moment again.

I had a feeling Lamine Yamal was going to score in this match. He was giving everything on the pitch and kept causing problems for the Saudi defense until he finally got his goal. As for Saudi Arabia, I think they still have a long way to go if they want to compete with the top football nations. Their goalkeeper was outstanding and made some really good saves, but without a solid defense in front of him, he can't stop every shot that comes his way.

Yamal only scored one goal, why using his picture instead of a player that scored two goals and assisted Yamal to get his first goal in this World Cup?
Well it is all about fame, I am not against Yamal scoring the opining goal because his performance was very good in the game before he was substituted in the second half of the match.

Nevertheless, Spain has won an important match that has taken them to the top of Group H. This win will mean a lot to the team, they need to improve their game because they have work to do if their dream of winning the World Cup is alive.

Saudi Arabia forced to use a defensive style from the start of the match, they did not realize that there was a lot of difference between them & the Spain players. The first difference is gameplay, the second is endurance & the third is body posture. So far there has been 1 more goal in the second half which was an own goal, I think soon we will see the fifth goal from Spain & after that there will be no more goals.
If you compare the squad depth of Spain and Saudi Arabia, you will find out that Spain squad depth is way better than Saudi Arabia squad depth, so I don't think Saudi Arabia were forced into playing a defensive football, what I think is that Saudi Arabia intentionally played a defensive football in order for them to stop Spain from scoring a lot of goals, which they achieved by coinciding four goals against Spain. Spain did score a fifth goal but it was disallowed.

I think Spain failed to secure a victory in the match against Cape Verde because Cape Verde’s defense was very disciplined and very tight right up until the end. it even seemed as though Cape Verde was fully aware of their own team’s strengths, so they chose to play more defensively from the start. However, unlike Saudi Arabia, Cape Verde was still able to mount effective counterattacks from time to time.
But there was certainly an element of bad luck in what Spain experienced in their first match, as they had numerous scoring opportunities at that time.

Congratulations to Lamine Yamal with the goal he scored, I believe he’s now among the youngest players in World Cup history to have scored a goal. And yes, that’s an extraordinary achievement for such a young player.

Some will say Spain did well today but in my personal pov, it was poor. The side they played against had nothing working for them so it's something they should have capitalized upon and scored a lot of goals. See the way Germany made light work of Curacao, that should have been the same thing that Spain should have done.

As for me, Spain really did well because I did not expect many goals from them based on their first match result and their friendly match results. Despite knowing that they would win this game, scoring four goals was not what I expected, and it was not what many people expected either.Scoring many goals is sometimes just about luck. If not for bad luck in their last match, Spain should have scored because they created some good chances. Also, after scoring three goals in the first half, they were expected to score at least two more in the second half. However, they only scored one additional goal, which was even an own goal. What is most important, though, is the three points, and that is exactly what they got, along with four goals.

If simple notion to know that once the opposite team is way stronger than you, the best option you to play is defensive because that's the only way you can actually salvage a point from the game and it's the only way forward and that's what Saudi arabia intended doing but for some reason they couldn't just hold up the defensive play because it's not an easy task to play defensively personally I feel playing defensive is way harder than even playing forward in the attacking role.

I was betting on the Spain vs Saudi Arabia match but it wasn't about Spain. Watching the game I thought "Oh if Saudi Arabia could have scored a goal then I would have won big". But when I saw the fourth own goal in the 49th minute I thought it was Hassan Al-Tambakti's intention but unfortunately he gave his team a goal. However, Saudi Arabia has played a lot of leagues on their soil recently and many famous players including Cristiano Ronaldo have played there but their performance seems to have been the worst performance of this World Cup so far.

First Spain made sure that nearly everyone lost while betting on them or goals for the Cape Verde match. After that they started to show their real identity.  Grin

Joking apart it was a really impressive play. Finally the manager decided to put Yamal in the starting eleven. It didn't take him too long to score his goal. But the important part is what they will do this time after the group stage...

There was a difference between Spain first match against Cape Verde and their match against Saudi Arabia. Against Cape Verde, the Spanish coach seemed to underestimate their opponent, even bringing Yamal, Nico and Olmo on in the second half. The poor result in the first match was a blow for Spain. Against Saudi Arabia, they seemed to want to take out all their frustration on Saudi Arabia, and they succeeded in winning decisively. Spain completely controlled the game from the first half and player rotations on the wings also worked smoothly continuously opening gaps in the Saudi defense.

In the early minutes Saudi Arabia attempted to counter Spain open play, but Spain easily scored three goals early in the first half. Spain attack in this match was impressive, from fluid player movement, precise positioning, to super aggressive pressing. Saudi on the other hand was the opposite. They easily lost possession under pressure, frequently made misplaced passes and lacked defensive awareness. Overall, they were vastly outclassed in terms of player quality. At least on this second matchday, Spain proved that they still deserve to be labeled as a strong candidate for the title.

And I am sure that it is precisely because of the result in the first match that Spain would score lots of goals this time. Spain knew they had to show a strong reaction to boost their self-confidence and get their nation standing behind them. They couldn't afford to play another poor match against an inferior opponent like Saudi Arabia and as you could see, they didn't leave Yamal on the bench. He started the match and everything went much better than last time. This match was crucial for them in many regards and therefore they did not put anything at risk.

Deriving how many goals Spain would score against Saudi Arabia based on their performance against Cape Verde is not very smart. It means you think that Portugal won't score a lot of goals in the next match against Usbekistan because they didn't score many goals against DR Congo? This is a fallacy to say the least.

Spain cannot afford to drop even a single point in this game against Saudi Arabia after their first leg disappointing show against Cape Verde. They knew what they needed to do to get the job done and that’s exactly what they just did. They were the clear favorite in this game and I wasn’t surprised to see them winning the game with a clean sheet because I believe they might have learned from the game against Cape Verde not to underrate any team. Now they will have to watch and see how the game between Cape Verde and Uruguay will end and they will be hoping Cape Verde doesn’t win that game because if Cape Verde wins the game tonight and then in the next round against Saudi Arabia they will definitely win thereby leaving Spain in a bad position against Uruguay as a must win for them to make it out of the group stage.

Yamal had a memorable match. He  performed well. He could have scored one more goal if he had been on the field for the full 90 minutes. But the coach did not want to take the risk. So at the beginning of the  second half, Yamal's substitute  came down.

After securing a 4-0  lead, the match  went very slow. The players of Spain did not try to score as much. They played very carefully. No one wants to face an injury. On the other hand, Saudi arabia's performance was very poor today. I did not expect such a  bad performance from this team. Saudi players lost confidence  early in the match

Belgium performed very aggressively until the first 10 minutes of the match, although they still continued in that way, but in the middle Iran went on the attack and Belgium was saved from a goal by a wonderful save from the Belgian goalkeeper. Although Belgium is constantly striking, they have not been able to score yet.
And I personally think that if Belgium can continue like this, they will definitely score and go ahead. And of course, Belgium is a stronger team than Iran, so my expectation is that Belgium will win today, at least they will be ahead by two goals.

I must say that Spain played and outstanding football today and Saudi Arabia was very lucky not to have conceded the other two goals which could have made their total goals 6 but it ended on a 4:0 very tempting score for this round and a very first leg, in the tournament they conceded such huge amount of goals, I know from the very start that Saudi Arabia team ant going to equalise or record any goal in the match because of the way they attacking and defense was over worked.

Yea i am watching and its big domination by belgium but they have not scored yet

Did you see the lukaku collison with iran GK? That very easily could have been a red card no?
Iran barely had two possessions in belgium have but they did look dangerous while on attack

There is a really nice competition for the lead in Group F right now by the way. Japan got a huge win like 4-0 over Tunisia which helped them equalize goal difference with Netherlands.

They have the same points too now. But of course Netherlands are in the lead thanks to the H2H result. I see Netherlands playing against Tunisia in their last match so there is no way they are losing the lead I think.  Grin

Tunisian performance was a clear disaster during this tournament. Tunisian media are all asking why the coach invited low qualified players and ignore some good players from joining the official composition. After losing against Sweden, the Tunisian president called to change the coach immediately, but this didn't help as well. I read the Tunisian news today and even some members in the parliament want to open an investigation in the football union and the corrupted system within. All the arabs now are looking at Morocco and maybe Egypt also.
