Actually, I don't think it will be as easy as I thought it would be for the Belgium team to win this match from the beginning because the Iranian goalkeeper is also performing great. Many of the goals scored were not possible only because of his good defending. And also the defender of Iranian team doing good.
And at the same time, when I see Iran occasionally going on the attack and coming close to scoring, my expectations are doubted. Anyway, Belgium is really lucky, this credit goes entirely to VAR.

Yeah I think they should always start Lamine Yamal, I can understand why they didn’t start him in the first game ; he was just coming back from injury but that first game the coach is to be blamed, a lot of bad decisions he made.
But today he reconciled those decisions and won the game in the first half, the rest of the second half was just formalities. For me I still think Spain is yet to be tested in this tournament, probably going forward into the knockout rounds they’ll be tested. A lot of quality teams in this competition.

Morocco being able to hold Brazil show how solid their defense are yet I feel Scotland had a better chance to score in the second half while Morocco will add more to get the win. Overall, I might be wrong about the goals but I'm more sure of Morocco winning.

Ismael Saibari is a beast of his own class. I haven't seen more of how he plays in PSV, but the world cup has revealed his true potentials and at this point, defenders in every group teams, even as they qualify for the knockout stages are scared of him. I'm trying to imagine how he crafted out that goal against Scotland--- the timing, the control, the pace, the shot power , everything was perfectly executed.
Morocco now has to compete against Haiti, and we all know that's not a challenging opponent at all. They have lost two games in a row. I'm wondering what their fate is for the next round of the competition.

The guy responsible for scouting in Bayern should be given a pay raise as they were the first big team to pick up on this talent in Morocco, even though they still have Harry Kane it's still a good catch for them as I am still impressed with the level Saibari is playing at this World Cup. Yeah, that part too. Scouters have a first hand experience about every player in all the leagues. Belgium is a much better team than Iran but there is no guarantee that the better team will always win the match. Iran almost scored a goal but Belgium was lucky that the goal was not for a moment. If Iran could have successfully scored this goal then it would have been very challenging for Belgium to win this match. So far both teams are playing very well. There is a possibility that Belgium will make a call from the second half and this match will end 1-0 and thus Belgium has a chance of winning. The side they played against had nothing working for them so it's something they should have capitalized upon and scored a lot of goals. See the way Germany made light work of Curacao, that should have been the same thing that Spain should have done.

Spain played well and scored at least four goals, that is more than enough to say they played well. You are basically right about the Arab team's performance in that match, even I didn't expect them to put up such a weak showing against Spain. Spain put in an impressive performance in the first half, but they began to lower the intensity of their attacks in the second half and the coach appeared quite satisfied with his players' performance.

I think Spain is one of the favorites for the 2026 World Cup, but I am not confident enough to say that until they have faced a stronger team. I think the match against Uruguay will be a tough one for Spain. If they manage to win, I am certain Spain certainly deserves to be considered one of this year's favorites.

Ivory Coast still have bigger chance qualify to next round because last match against Curaçao and getting draw is enough get next round ticket indeed Ecuador beating Germany last match likely its impossible. However, Germany have lead and finish at first standings in Group E avoid facing Netherland at round of 32 but its still possible depend with Netherland success finish as first place or not.

Based on what I saw of this Ecuador match, I wouldn't give them much hope against Germany. Although it's presumed they'll only field their reserves, which is a good thing, it's Germany, and Germany has a very strong squad. I wouldn't underestimate them at all. As things stand, I'd say Ecuador won't be able to beat Germany, and the match between Ivory Coast and Curaçao will be very interesting. I like the way Curaçao plays; they're capable of disrupting any team's game if they don't react.

Spain took an early lead and it was already finished in 23th minute. Once spain scored the third goal it was over and i think it was just a question how many will Spain score by the end. They slowed up the gas so they dont get injured or something and for them it was enough. They got a 4-0 win the gave them a goal difference of +4 that pushes them into the next phase,while Saudi needs to struggle in the last round and they need a win or they will get eliminated

Spain is playing really well in this match, Spain has already scored 3 goals in just 25 minutes of the game. Lamine Yamal scored the first goal in the 10th minute, and after that Oyarzabal scored a goal in the 21st minute, and soon then in the 24th minute, Oyarzabal score another goal, and now Spain has a 3-goal lead. The first half is not over yet and their score is now 3-0, the way Spain plays, they are playing completely offensively, they will score more goals in this match. Spain will definitely win the match, and it seems that they will win the match by a very big margin. I think they will score 5 goals in the whole match.

Spain smashed 4 goals in their 2nd match against Saudi Arabia in WC26. You sound so sure about Ivory Coast scoring goals against Curacao and you said "a few" goals. After everything we have seen now at this World Cup, Spain couldn't score against Cape Verde, Ecuador couldn't score against Curacao and I think Ecuador is about as good as Ivory Coast and yet they couldn't manage to score a goal.

I don't know why that is but I agree with you, I would have liked to see Curacao go to the next round. Maybe it is because they are passionate and they played their hearts out! You can see it in every action and the fans are amazing. This is one of the teams that I think won a lot of sympathy so far during the event. Players are humble and play fair, fans are crazy in a positive sense. It would have been nice to see them finish with a result that makes them proud and as you said, a point against Ecuador is the result of a big fight.

Belgium finishing has been terrible so far, they could have scored atleast two goals already

Iran players are busy diving but ref is not falling for it so far, honestly terrible look on both teams in first half and very bad match to watch

I do think if belgium dont step up iran can catch them once on the counter and get a goal, either second half will have 3-4 goals or again zero goals

What do mean, how can you be comparing curaçao to Saudi Arabia. I don’t know if you have watched both Saudi and curaçao play, but if you did you would see that both nations are not on the same level in football. Spain is A very good side , I would even say they are better than Germany. It saudi should play a team like Germany they would cause them more problems they did Spain.

Belgium was strong on paper in today's game, but we can see that the Iranian team is playing with a lot of determination and talent. In fact Iran had a chance to win this match because a Belgian player received a red card in the 67th minute, so it seems to me that the Iranian team might be able to defeat the 10-man Belgium team. One thing to note is that each team in Group G of this World Cup has not lost a match because they have drawn all of their matches, in that context, after watching the game between Belgium and Iran today, it seems like it could also be a draw, if Iran wins this World Cup match today, they will be much ahead of Belgium.

Belgium couldn't score any single goal till now because of the outstanding performance of defence and also the goalkeeper from the side of Iran. Even in some cases we are also seeing that Iran is going on the attacking we also see the first score from the Iran but that was offside after the war review.

And currently another negative news for the Belgium team and that is Nathan Ngoy one of their good defencer receive the record from the referee. I think now it's going to more harder for the Belgium to win even I think this match could be also a draw.
