With Germany already qualified, am really not expecting an explosive game from them but it would be nice to see them collect maximum points from this game against Ecuador..

It seems everyone was indeed surprised by South Africa’s advancement from Group A, which also surprised me. Luckily, I didn’t bet big on South Korea. But I did watch their matches. And I think they played a beautiful style of soccer. They maximized their players’ abilities to the absolute limit. And I really liked how South Africa made it look so easy to break through South Korea’s defense.

South Korea didn’t adapt well. They have the quality, but they lacked the courage to play more aggressively against South Africa’s defense. As a result, every time they built an attack, it always ended with South Africa intercepting the ball.

South Africa even made frequent passing errors in that match. But their quick movement allowed them to consistently win the ball back from South Korea. That match even made me realize that sometimes having quality players is useless if it isn’t accompanied by the right strategy from the coach.
Ecuador vs. Germany, I think the score will be 1–3.

Who would have thought that South Africa with a Fifa ranking of 60 could actually finish 2nd in Group A playing against Mexico, Czech Republic and South Korea. Or maybe most people underestimated the strength of the South Africa national squad after their first disaster opening game against Mexico that resulted in 2 players being sent off and they did not even manage to threaten the Mexico defense much in that game. I believe South Korea could only blame themselves for their lackluster performance in their most crucial game against South Africa and now they could only await the results for all 3rd place ranking teams in every group.

This South Korea game was the one that even shocked me the most and this was because I actually expected them to win but opposite was the case as South Africa was able to hold them off and even outplay them because at the day the team with the winning goal is the one with all the credit.

Very soon the first round will be rounding off and we will see a whole of things change and the competition will get more tough and alot of teams will be knocked out in this stage and I just hope the African teams can hold up more than this round.

it was actually a boring match. South Africa barely managed to score one.
btw i also think their head coach looks like the old trainer who coached Rocky He has that exact same vibe.

It's true that most people did not believe that South Africa will qualify to the round of 16, especially after they were defeated on their first match against Mexico,  but they were able to crawl their way back after the draw against Czech Republic,  which gave them a lifeline and in the last match they won South Korea 1-0, which got them 4 points in total and they ended second in group A.

Again what an amazing performance by the Morocco team. This team has a lot of potential. This team has a really good chance to again reach the semi finals or I personally believe that this team can also reach the final because their level and other good teams like France, Argentina, Portugal, and other teams are almost the same. And also, credit goes to Achraf Hakimi because he also has a major role in this performance. A good captain also has an impact on a teams performance. Good luck to them in their upcoming games.

In a few hours, the Group E matches will kick off: Ecuador vs Germany, and Curacao vs Ivory Coast.

In the Ecuador vs Germany match, the motivation is on Ecuador's side. Germany has already secured the top spot in the group, so Julian Nagelsmann will likely rest many of his key players. However, even their backup squad will be playing to win. I think it will be an entertaining game, and we will definitely see goals from both sides.

A draw will be enough for Ivory Coast to advance from the group. Curacao, on the other hand, desperately needs all three points to have a chance of finishing as one of the best third-placed teams. I think the Ivorians won't rush into attack and will quietly play for a draw.

With two wins under their belt, Germany has already qualified. The match against Ecuador no longer affects their group standing, given the 9 goals they’ve scored in two matches.
Nagelsmann does not appear to be making any changes to the starting lineup based on the lineup that has already been confirmed.

Besides Germany, Ivory Coast and Ecuador likely have the strongest motivation to win their matches. As for Ivory Coast, they simply need to avoid a loss against Curacao.

Mexico was some kinda beast in this group stage and they outperformed all the other teams in their group, I never expected this from them though but this World Cup was full of surprises..

I was really disappointed in South Korea’s results against South Africa today, though they dominated the possession, South Africa attacked more and successfully defeated them with one goal to none. A really sad moment for the South Korean goalkeeper, he missed his first childbirth to represent them in this game but they ended up losing..


Congratulations to Vini Jnr fir winning the Workd Cup MOTM three games in a row, that’s a very impressive performance from him in this World Cup…
Neymar and Endrick also played the game but they were subbed in towards the end of the game after Brazil was leading comfortably with three goals.

Who could have predicted Mexico would win all three of their matches? They're playing better than they've ever played in the World Cup; you could say they've broken records. Their performance has been really good. Yes, maybe there aren't many strong teams in their group, but it's easy to say they've been successful. I'm curious to see how far they can go in the upcoming matches. If they face a strong team, they might be eliminated from the tournament

What a beautiful start for the Germans as they broke the deadlock with an early goal on the 2nd minutes after kickoff time. This is the quickest of Germany goal in the world cup since 1935. However, a German player used his boot to brush one of Ecuador player on the head before that goal was pass to the goal assistant before he game it to Sane who clinical finished the ball. I feel that ball should be a foul. It's Ecuador 0- 1 Germany.

This World Cup might be a memorable one for African teams. South Africa, Morocco, and others have a good chance of qualifying for the next round. Only Algeria and Senegal are out of the competition. Morocco is the highest-ranked team in Africa because of their performance in the last World Cup, where they came fourth. Haiti proved to be a strong team that Morocco had to fight to get those three points.

A three over three performance coming from the co host mexico, I didn't expect that Mexico were going to win all their games and top in group prior to the kickoff of the world cup . Because the group that Mexico was had some decent teams which were in good form and had great squad going into the world cup. I knew that Mexico as host will be performing well but winning all group matches was just out of the equation for me.


Now they have to travel to the united states to play their round of thirty two game against who ever that emerge as second placed team from the other group. I believe that Mexico can make it through beyond the round of thirty two from the way that they have performed so far in this world cup.

Of course, more goals are expected in this match. Germany has a problem of faulty defense system; their defense is very easy to intrude because all the 3 matches they have played in the group they have conceded goals and with the way am seeing this match against Ecuador, they are likely to concede more goals. Germany has very intelligent midfielders and strikers who can score but their coach needs to do more work in the defenders. The match is approaching half-time and there are no more goals yet, i didn't believe they will play this this time without an additional goal. Maybe the goals will come in the second half of the game.

This is World Cup and know country that comes to play anyone want to show what they are capable off, Mexico as start the competition very nice and they deserve to qualify to the next round and finish the group stage unbeaten that as show the way they are good and can challenge more other countries in the World Cup competition. I just get the believe that Mexico will continue trying there best in the competition but I don’t think they are among the favourites to win the trophy the way I think about it. But anything can be possible let see how the groups stage we will see who they will face in the next round.

The way the Germany team started I thought maybe they are going to score a good amount of goal before the break but unfortunately the Ecuador team recover themselves in only 7th minute that was actually surprising for me. And even currently match is in the corner of first half is still Germany couldn't anymore score.
But it is true that Germany team is dominating the match they were having the highest ball position and as well shot on target even one shot was saved by the equator team goalkeeper. I think Germany will do more score like three or four after the  break.

It's half-time and the score is 1-1 for Germany and 1 for Ecuador. It's unbelievable that Germany's attacking performance has declined so much after their good performance in the first game. They've been playing in a way that, in my opinion, will cause them to lose against strong European opponents. I bet on them and they're currently tied, and I confess that, based on what I'm seeing, they don't inspire much confidence that they can win. But since it was a very small amount and with odds of over @2.10, I decided to try my luck without having high expectations.
