Yesterday's games have really changed the table of the 3rd position standing. With few games remaining, the 3rd placed teams who will qualify to the next round can be seen in the table below:

There are still matches to be played. The fate of SK(South Korea), and Algeria is still to be determined by the remaining matches left. Below are a list of matches remaining:



I believe most of the top 4 in the table with 4 points have already secured their position for the next round. All hope is not yet lost for the 9th position and below; they can still qualify if they win with a reasonable amount of goals.

Interesting table here, and for those planning to put some money on remaining games this is the kind of information you need to have at hand.

Surprised at how Belgium a former worlds #1 team is struggling, hope they put their theatrics together for when a win it needed the most, because anything less than a win it's end of the road for them!!

Senegal should be able to get their golden ticket, because they have the quality just in a tough group..

Ronaldo did very well not to respond to the journalists' stupid comparisons, and the response must only come via the pitch, he must win and stay focused, thinking about Messi is just a problem that can lead to him losing his concentration and losing the possibility of reaching the end of the competition.

Haaland vs Mbappe! A really nice match is waiting for us I guess... But of course we need to accept a fact here that France are seriously favoured.

By the way Haaland was asked in an interview earlier about this match today. He said France would probably beat them and win the cup after that. 

He is just being realistic though... France and Argentina are my biggest favourites in this World Cup too.

The match between France and Norway will determine the winner of this group. And since France only need a draw to finish the group stage in first place, I think this match could even end in a draw. Although I believe that France are strong enough to beat Norway. In the other match of this group, Senegal will play against Iraq, and it will be a battle for third place, which could potentially be enough to continue in the tournament. Therefore, I think that Senegal can win this game because they are the stronger team. And I feel a bit sorry that a team like Senegal still have 0 points.

The German team is very strong. In the first match they got an  incredible victory. Hot favorites such as the Netherlands, Brazil and Spain failed to win their first match, but Germany secured a  7-1 win against curacao. Despite losing against ecuador, Germany managed to qualify for the next round from the top of the table. This match was not important for them. Anyway, Germany should have tried to draw the  match. After a long time I saw the German team  lose a match. Before this, germany continued the winning streak in  11 consecutive matches.

Usually, Germany always secures a win, even in matches that are no longer important. But since this is the World Cup, I think they really didn’t prioritize winning that match. They also began substituting their key players one by one in the second half against Ecuador, which clearly indicated that they were more focused on resting some of their key players and giving playing time to the other players on the bench. I forgot to take this into account, so I somewhat regret picking them as my favorites and was disappointed by their loss in that match.

This match will surely be great to watch,Norway dosent have anything to lose so they will surely attack and try and win the match against France. While France knowing them will probobly calculate and maybe go for a draw just to keep their first place,but still with all that firepower in attack they should attack and go for the win,because on paper they are clearly better then Norway.

Senegal has a chance of qualifing but they need to win no matter what and not by only one goal they need to win by two goals to maybe even secure the knockout round,so this group will be intresting today to see what will happen.

This is the best part of the current world cup arrangement, and it further eliminated mistakes on the part of some countries (to give them a second chance) and also luck on the part of another countries (to give them the table to prove themselves again). This will be evident in how those countries would have been discarded at the group stage making it to a higher round than of 32. I hope it will be more interesting as the tournament proceeds.

Cristiano might win World Cup 2026 trophy with Portugal or won't win it, might end his career without a World Cup title, but even so he will still be recorded as one of greatest players of all times.

Yes, no one doubts that Ronaldo is one of the greatest players of all time. For me, even if Ronaldo were unable to win the World Cup, that wouldn’t be a reason not to recognize him as the greatest player of all time. To me, his career trajectory is proof enough that Ronaldo is the greatest. In fact, there are several of Ronaldo’s records that other players may find difficult to match. One of them is being the first player in soccer history to score 1000 goals. Ronaldo is very close to reaching that record, and he will certainly achieve it.

Mexico beat South Africa, South Korea, and most recently the Czech Republic 3-0.
They've accumulated 9 points in three matches and, as you may have noticed, haven't conceded a single goal. The Czech Republic had a poor start to the tournament and now they've lost to Mexico. Mexico is exceeding expectations. Their defense is excellent they haven't conceded a goal yet. We'll find out what kind of team they really are in the knockout rounds.

Mexico performed very well, and i must say that it's all thanks to their work which they are doing very well, it certainly exceeded my expectations, i would have expected a submissive national team that wouldn't have done much but instead it's starting to be one of the best in the tournament, which amazes me.

Morocco managed to secure a high-scoring victory over Haiti. Haiti scored the first goal, and the first half was truly exciting. The first half ended 2-2 with both teams scoring. In the second half, Morocco stepped up the pressure and scored two more goals to win the match 4-2. Haiti didn?t play poorly; it?s just that their squad wasn?t strong enough, but I think they put up a good fight against Morocco. While Haiti finished the group stage without any points, Morocco finished in second place thanks to this victory.

A very good match between Morocco and Hati. We see 4 goal in First half quite goal scoring half in this worldcupThe 2nd goal of hati was very good i love that's strike form the left wink. But anyhow the group winner is decided and now we the 2 team are go through to the next round. Brazil and Morocco are go through and Hati and Scotland are out of the worldcup.  In thr round of 32 i think Brazil can face Japan and it a good match last time we see in worldcup a very close match between them of Brazil and Japan. Wo it's time we see a good revenge from Brazil side.

I consider Haiti's play really important, he still played well, considering the fact that Morocco are statistically and physically stronger they struggled to win, in the end they won by two goals, but still for a little while the situation was quite balanced.
It was, however, fairly obvious that Haiti would not be able to advance.

It will be a very tough fixture to watch live, though France have the upper hand, the more likely and advantageous for them. Norway has tried to keep two wins in the three group stage matches, this could be where they experience their first loss, however, both Norway and France has qualified automatically, not minding the outcome of their meeting today.

Paraguay and Australia played to a scoreless draw, and with this result, Australia finished in 2nd place while Paraguay finished in 3rd. Both teams played as if they wanted the match to end in a draw. In my opinion, Australia was the better team throughout the match and was closer to a win, but they couldn’t find the back of the net. With these results, Turkey also finished the group stage in 4th place. Even though we beat the U.S. with a last-minute goal, we needed to earn points from the Paraguay and Australia matches.

France is going to be the one to win this game and France have come a log way to allow Norway that is what we all believe that France is coming out the winner and even from the odd the truth is there because the team that has more advantage of winning always have the smaller odd if the game should end draw that means it's not that competitive because from what France will want they will do everything for them to win because winning the game through draw will not seat well with them and mbappe will want to score today we don't know how many goals yet.

Senegal against iraq is today also and Senegal performance is not convincing but this is football the unexpected can also happen because the same Senegal that we are not sure about are the same team that can still change the game so let us not just assume that iraq can win the game same goes to Senegal so all the games today are going to be interesting.

Even when Germany was in need of three points to pave their way into the World Cup knockout phase they couldn't win Ivory Coast easily they won Ivory Coast by luck, so I disagree with that Ecuador was only able to win Germany because Germany has already secured a spot in the knockout stage. Germany were just lucky they defeated Ivory Coast in their second match in this World Cup otherwise they would have still lost against Ecuador and thrash out of the World Cup.

Germany has every chance to have an excellent world championship, the elimination phase will be the one that will burn the most resources for some teams and i think that whoever reaches the final and has the privilege of playing calmer challenges will win the competition as has always been the case in the world cup.

As for South Korea, although they lost , they still have a chance of qualifying because, with the three points they have , they stand a chance of being one of the best eight third-placed teams.

no research was needed, there are teams that have never participated in this type of event in a professional and structured way, like the European teams that have always been very renowned for this type of sport, it is not in their DNA to play football and therefore i am not surprised that there is no continuity.

After yesterday's game between Germany and Ecuador, I honestly believe that Norway will put up a fight on equal terms and not just lose. They have a good team, and I believe they might have some strategy to stop France.

Turkiye was regressing so hard more than i have expected. They may be winning the game, but they were against USA B team. Kinda feel weird to see how they were celebrating it.

It's also shocked me how they are also losing in term of stats compared to the USA B team. They even almost lost this too.

It's kinda weird even nation without football as its favorite sport could do better than Turkiye. I said USA played with B team because no Pulisic. no McKennie, no Tim Weah and many more.

Turkiye is really turning from the darkhorse to be a laughable club.

As if it were a universal norm, everyone is saying that France will "do everything to win". However, Deschamps has done the exact opposite in the last three World Cups, where qualification was already decided. Ecuador 2014, Denmark 2018, Tunisia 2022. Rotated the squad, killed the intensity, took the safe result every single time. Lost to Tunisia with a reserve team and did not even flinch about it afterward.

And people forget: France only need a draw to make it 1st. They already have a better goal difference than Norway. So why would he risk his best players picking up injuries or suspensions for a match that functionally does not matter?

Now, Mbappe is sitting two goals away from Messi's all-time World Cup record. Does a guy who is looking for that sort of legacy want to be rested? There is probably a conversation happening right now between him and Deschamps. None of us will ever hear it and it will determine this entire match more than that tactical formation.

However, even when Mbappe plays, Norway will not be going down without a fight. Haaland has been so clinical. He has an almost 80 per cent shot accuracy at this tournament. Should not be possible for a human being.

So I would actually bet on a low-scoring draw before I would back France running away with it. The odds are lying to you on this one.

Fuck Scotland is gonna be out of the world cup, what a disaster i was not expecting that at all, the main problem for them was only beating Haiti by one goal, they needed to score more to have a much better goal diference and have a real chance between the third position teams.

Also if at least they tie against Morocco the whole history could be diferent.

France and Norway have already advanced to the knockout stage, so the main intrigue of the match is who will face whom in the next round. It is possible that the managers will rest their key players and give time to the substitutes and those who need to get some game time. France has a stronger squad than Norway; even their second team is very solid. In my opinion, a 1-1 or 2-2 draw looks logical, and if anyone wins the match, it will likely be France — somewhere around 1-2.
