When you watch Portugal matches you will clearly see that they don’t pass to him even when he his in better position or when he makes runs. We saw how Argentine players are giving Messi all possible balls, how all of them are being very loyal to him, how they want messi to score.

There is no better goal scorer in the history of football like Ronaldo, no one has reached his numbers, so give him the balls and he will definitely score for you.

I don't know. Probably yes. He probably does not watch the Portugal match, or he probably does not care much about Ronaldo. Fuck Scotland is gonna be out of the world cup, what a disaster i was not expecting that at all, the main problem for them was only beating Haiti by one goal, they needed to score more to have a much better goal diference and have a real chance between the third position teams.

Also if at least they tie against Morocco the whole history could be diferent.

France is definitely the most favorite in this game and a win would not be a surprise as it is important that they secure the 1st position in the group stage to further their race in the World Cup competition. But with a player like Haaland, Ordegard and zone other top personalities it could be a little challenge but I believe the least it could be is a draw.

In the other match of this group, Senegal will play against Iraq, and it will be a battle for third place, which could potentially be enough to continue in the tournament. Therefore, I think that Senegal can win this game because they are the stronger team. And I feel a bit sorry that a team like Senegal still have 0 points.

It is quite unfortunate that Senegal happens to be in the same team as France and Norway which leaves them no chance for an automatic qualification with 1st or 2nd place. Senegal is a good team but not just good enough for both countries and it is evident that Iraq would be the only team they beat in their group.

I don't think he was being realistic, I think he was trying to look humble as from previous Interviews we have known him to be and this match will really tell us how good the France team is in the competition especially if they manage to beat Norway.

On paper, it looks plain that France will trash Norway but I don't think that's going to be the case because aside from team depth, Norway has the support and of there crowd and even that passion that can see them win alot of match. So I know it won't be easy for France

Uruguay, New Zealand, Iran and Saudi Arabia are not here, but they have a chance to get into the playoffs, and some of them even from first place in the group! It is strange, to say the least, to only consider the third-placed teams while the fourth-placed teams are very close. As for South Korea, their chances are vanishingly small, too many factors need to come together for them to make it to the playoffs. Algeria only needs to hold on to a draw against Austria.

France and Norway have already advanced to the knockout stage, so the main intrigue of the match is who will face whom in the next round. It is possible that the managers will rest their key players and give time to the substitutes and those who need to get some game time. France has a stronger squad than Norway; even their second team is very solid. In my opinion, a 1-1 or 2-2 draw looks logical, and if anyone wins the match, it will likely be France — somewhere around 1-2.

They have same 4 goals so far and only 1 goal less than Messi, so this match is important for both Mbappe and Haaland scoring more goals and racing with each other as well as Messi for a best goal scorer in World Cup 2026. About this match, both France and Norway will have to consider situations of other groups and think about a position in this group which can help them falling to an easier branch after the group phase.

It's incredible though but Mbappe has a higher chance of going well above Haaland in this fixture and the tournament at large. It's not just that Mbappe plays for but his also their main man on the pitch, it's not by coincidence but his paid his dues for it. For a star studded team like France, if you don't perform at the highest level, you can't be picked to represent them, so basically he earned his place. Some were of the opinion that because Mbappe plays for France that's why his getting the number of goals he has, then I asked if Mbappe didn't make his and being a reliable target man, would France be playing him regularly? Of course not, sometimes people fail to give themselves top players the credit they deserve. If Mbappe was lazy and wasteful, was Descamps going to make him his lead man! Back to this, I think these two will perform well but Mbappe will perform better in my opinion.

If Cabo Verd will want to bank on their defenses, then they should be mind full of a possible mistake that could get Saudi a goal because they will be very possessive of the ball if the concentration for Cabo Verd is more on their defense than any other side of the pitch. I am very optimistic about Saudi Arabia and i believe they are not going to make it an easy one for Verde, but then both team happens to have an equal chance an di hope more for Saudi to win.

Turkiye was regressing so hard more than i have expected. They may be winning the game, but they were against USA B team. Kinda feel weird to see how they were celebrating it.

It's also shocked me how they are also losing in term of stats compared to the USA B team. They even almost lost this too.

It's kinda weird even nation without football as its favorite sport could do better than Turkiye. I said USA played with B team because no Pulisic. no McKennie, no Tim Weah and many more.

Turkiye is really turning from the darkhorse to be a laughable club.

There was no other team with such a strong squad that was managed so poorly in this World Cup. The players are very talented, but there were major tactical problems, and I think the coach really failed. I'm sure they will play much better in future championships.

You know what gives me joy? After all they've said against him, after the game against DR Congo the likes of zlatan, Henry and co, after they've all blab nonsense about him, he replied them by scoring two goals and winning man of the match where those young players they believe is better than him now is, the fact is if you go to details every football pundits journalist that is talking down on CR7 you will get to find out that, in one way or the other CR7 has humiliated him either on club level of national team level, so they can't help it but to talk down on him, if that will reduce him but yet the more they talk the more he excel.

Paraguay and Australia played to a scoreless draw, and with this result, Australia finished in 2nd place while Paraguay finished in 3rd. Both teams played as if they wanted the match to end in a draw. In my opinion, Australia was the better team throughout the match and was closer to a win, but they couldn’t find the back of the net. With these results, Turkey also finished the group stage in 4th place. Even though we beat the U.S. with a last-minute goal, we needed to earn points from the Paraguay and Australia matches.

Australia showed more desperation to win the game, and I am happy they qualified. They had twelve shots, and five of them were on target. It's really sad that Paraguay would have to wait for the outcome of other matches for them to know their fate.

Turkey is one of the biggest disappointments in this competition. They are not one of the European powerhouses. But they were tipped to qualify with one other country in the Group. Nevertheless this is the beauty of football, sometimes the best teams disappoints.

Germany, indeed, attacked without much emotion. For some time, the German team played their football, held the advantage, and combined quickly. However, Ecuador didn't just sit near their goal either and moved into positional attacks. At the end of the game, the Germans pressed their opponent, but without much aggression, and the Ecuadorians managed to fight them off. I think if Germany hadn't secured first place before the game, they would have likely played much more aggressively, but this way they saved themselves before the knockout stage.

I too was surprised Germany lost to Ecuador. I had felt it was a straightforward win with minimal pressure from their opponents. Boy was i wrong.. The Ecuadorians needed this win more than Germany did and it showed in the way they pushed hard and managed to score a winning goal deep into the second half. They also managed to hold down  their defense and thwarted any effort from the Germans to find the back of the net again.
Germany, having more of the ball in their possession and having some attempts at goal, couldn't manage to score and try to secure a draw at the end. Good game and a well deserved win for the Ecuadorians.

The match between France and Norway will determine the winner of this group. And since France only need a draw to finish the group stage in first place, I think this match could even end in a draw. Although I believe that France are strong enough to beat Norway. France vs Norway game is the only match i will focus on tonight because two best strikers in the world are facing each other and it is going to be a joy to watch, Mbape and Haaland are going to face each and my thought on the match is that both teams are going to score and the two best strikers in the world are going to score because they are in a good form in this competition and they will like to show themselves in this match, although France have a chance to win the game because they have good players in their squad than Norway.

A lot of goals will be score in this game because both teams are capable of scoring goals, France maybe be the better side because of their attacking players like Olise, Mbape and Dembele but Norway have players who are playing for Bode/Glimt and we all know how those players are playing like a team against big clubs in the champions league, Norway performance in their last two matches prove that they can challenge France so i anyone can win the game since they have already qualified for the next round.

Those narrow defeats made no sense at all. Germany and the USA should've won those matches. But for some reason, it was like both teams completely lost their creativity in the final third and couldn't score more goals. Those two games ended up ruining my parlay bet.

Yeah we are waiting for this match and waiting for new history for Cape Verde, I think a draw is good enough for Cape Verde but if they can win then they can take 2nd place in the group, assuming Uruguay lose or draw. Somehow I'm optimistic about Cape Verde as long as they can play the same pattern as against Spain and Uruguay. My prediction this match will be low on goals but with high tension. It’s not how they would have liked or prefer to go on record for the World Cup. Ecuador just wanted it more and they were better at their game against Germany. Ecuador was given a chance to qualify by Germany, with a narrow victory that has revived many hopes. Ecuador play wasn't particularly threatening, but when they found a chance, they capitalized. I consider this result a gift from the German national team.
