The truth is the team has lots of stars but they are all bunch of individual players that's one, the second problem they have is coaching issues. Martinez doesn't know how to combine the explosiveness of Vitinha, Neves and Bruno, their first 2 matches were against below average teams and the owned the game but the moment they met an average team, what happened? See how Columbia was incharge of the game, it was an interesting game no doubt but Columbia were the better team.

I was disappointed that Brazil met Japan too early in the last 32. Either way, these two national teams are more deserving of advancing to the last 16 but with a battle that is inevitable then I hope Brazil can qualify, a difficult choice when I also have high hopes for Japan.

These two teams truly deserve to advance further. their aggressive playing styles never fail to keep us entertained. but in the end, they have to face off against each other, and only one will ultimately move on. i also really regret that they had to face each other so early in the tournament. Personally, I like Japan and have been rooting for them so far. But I also really like the Brazilian team.
Maybe I have a different preference than you for that match, since I’m hoping Japan wins. however, I personally won’t be disappointed at all if Brazil ends up advancing to the Round of 16. Whichever team wins, they’ll be the ones who truly deserve to move on.

The match between the Colombian and Portuguese national teams was incredibly intense. And every minute was nerve-wracking because there were so many attacks from both teams. I personally felt that the first half was much more intense than the second with so many scoring opportunities created. The second half was actually just as intense given that Colombia worked very hard to launch attacks that threatened Portugal. Colombia even managed to score a goal that was disallowed. And that goal became controversial because many Colombian fans were unhappy with the offside call on the play. But the goal was actually rightly disallowed after being reviewed using video replay technology.

I am more surprised by one thing, after the victory against Uzbekistan in the last match, Ronaldo looked at the camera and said, "I'm back, I'm back," but today, watching his game against Colombia, I don't think he backed down. I thought a goal would be inevitable from one side, but it didn't happen. Now, even with their 0-0 goal, Ronaldo's fans are a little disappointed, but another thing is that Ronaldo can disappoint his fans and make them laugh and cry.

However, Ronaldo may play great in the next match, because every time I have seen Ronaldo get frustrated, I have also seen him come back hard. So this may have become a big challenge for them.

Everyone had high expectations from Portugal. They have a lot of star players in their squad and they have the ability to perform  well. They played very well at the club in the last season. But we are not seeing a good performance from them in Pportugal. The understanding between the players is not good. This could  also be due to their  tactical weakness. Portugal was considered one of the favorites of the world cup. But it is impossible for them to win the world cup with such a performance.
Portugal is going to face croatia in the knockout round. If they do not perform well, portugal will have to leave in the round of 32. Croatia is a very strong squad.

imo the two biggest surprises in the World Cup so far are Uruguay being eliminated by Cape Verde and Ecuador advancing to the next round by coming from 1-0 down to beat Germany 2-1.

Before I will write Some things I will like to know what part of the unwise argument you support. I wouldn't want to go to conclusion but From what you have written you seem to support the lie that FIFA is favouring Argentina.
Do you even know how these teams are selected before you wrote this?, I think you should Google about how they choose teams to play each other. Even in the champions league your type of people made claims that Arsenal are being favoured by champions league, I'm happy that at last they didn't win, if not y'all voice of rigging claims will be unbearably loud.
At the same time easy team might be misleading as a result of the opponent they play, they might play another team and your thoughts will shift. But even if you call them easy teams, do they fortunately get to play easier teams? Probably Yes. Do FIFA purposely make Argentina face easy teams? "NO!"

Brazil is undoubtedly a very strong team. But so far I am not satisfied with their performance. In the group stage, they faced no stronger  team than Morocco. Morocco is not that strong either. There is a very huge possibility of Morocco winning Netherlands because Morocco has shown that against the bigger teams they are still able to maintain defensive compatibility and that could be a problem for the Netherlands team to overcome especially if Morocco goes ahead to score the first goal in the game. That is a great observation and I think Ronaldo will never stop falling for himself. No other striker did that after scoring their goals, but Ronaldo is the kind of guy who can't handle his ego. Now he should ask himself whether he can be satisfied or not. He didn't score against Congo and he didn't score against Colombia and what is worse is that he didn't assist either. That's as bad as his performance can get and yet he makes these weird claims as soon as he scores a goal against Uzbekistan... he should be quiet, focus on helping the team and instead stop talking too big. Colombia deserved to win the match. They really beat Portugal. Colombia played beautifully, you can't help but respect them. Davinson's goal shouldn't have been offside. Besides that, they could have scored a few more goals. Portugal has one of the best squads, and yeah, we saw how bad  Portuguese were against a mid-level team in yesterday's match.

Both Uruguay and South Korea actually had everything on their hands and to be sincerely they were the biggest bottlers to me not to get into this round of 32, personally I would say Uruguay had their self down after the two games I was definitely not sure they would win against Spain even though Spain haven’t been convincing in this competition for me. But the biggest blame for Uruguay national team is the manager Marcelo Bielsa, he saw how bad the team played in the first game and didn’t try to make changes most especially.

As for South Korea I think overconfidence killed them in the last game because they needed just a draw in two of their last game and they couldn’t get it, after there first game i actually thought they were definitely going to go far Atleast out of the group stage.

The one team though that got lucky was actually Austria, they were few minutes away from elimination in fact I have this feeling that Algeria actually let them score to avoid a face off with Spain in the last 32.

From the looks of things I don't see this Colombia side taking it easy with Portugal and the Portuguese are a bit slow, no style of play is currently working. Is like the first half will be all about Colombia because I can't see that dominance in this game from the Portugal but I hope they stay alert because these guys are all over the pitch to get goals.

This match is simply to decide who finishes top of the group and who finishes second. Both teams have already qualified for the round of 16, so it will be a match in which both sides will look to conserve their energy for their upcoming fixtures.
The team that finishes top will face Ghana, whilst the team that finishes second will face Croatia.

For me it should have been more than that, if you watched how Colombia was all over the pitch, touching the ball creating chances you'd know that they really are in for this game and not about topping the group, these guys are here to make a statement, pushing Portugal to the edge is something we all need to be seeing in this FWC. Countries that are underdogs are the ones making the headlines, imagine the kind of weak football Portugal has been on since this competition started, it was only that game against Uzbekistan that they were mobile but aside from that nothing effective was seen from that squad.
I honestly feel for Bruno, he has been trying to make the team feel like a no go area for oppositions but the front line is not strong to get the final touch in the goalpost, if this is how they are going to play against Croatia then it will be a hard one even harder than what happened in the Colombia game.

They played well against Uzbekistan but stumbled again against colombia. Croatia, their opponent in the Round of 32 , is even stronger. I wouldn't be surprised if Portugal loses.
