I don't want to assume, just because the Brazilians are out in their numbers, that they can out play them even though that's what it seems to look like. If Brazil can secure an early goal, maybe 1 or 2, that will raise the level of difficulty for them. Those set of robots can sacrifice their lives on the pitch to score a goal.

Brazil is certainly the favorite to win because they really have higher individual quality in every player, and they also have a better and more balanced squad from starters to substitutes. But Japan is a strong team with great stamina. Japan's chances might only be around 20%. But football always brings surprises. Japan could make things difficult for Brazil. But indeed, Ancelotti's chosen players, like Raphinha, are key players for him, whereas Japan has been missing Kubo from the start, and you can really see how Japan struggles a bit without Kubo.

Overall it was a nice defensive tactics but I feel they would have had chance to take the leading if they had more attacking force in the game.

Well finally South Africa is out of this world cup, im not celebrating that but i feel relief since i believe they dont deserve to be anymore in the world cup and Canada is a much better team than them so we are gonna have much better match in the next round with Canada facing the team who reach that stage instead of S.A.

Don't even try to gamble that match in favor of Cape Verde otherwise you will lose your bet and your money because Argentina is one of the teams that are tipped to win the world cup due to Lionel Messi's outstanding performance so far. I know that sometimes the big teams we strongly believe they would win a lesser team can lose surprisingly but i do not ever imagine that in the match between Cape Verde versus Argentina. Of course, Cape Verde performed beyond expectation, but their performance is not enough to eliminate Argentina. Cape Verde played beautiful football, it's a good feeling for them to even make to the FIFA world cup and i believe that after this tournament, their FIFA ranking in Africa will be increased.

Even though Argentina aren't tipped to win this World Cup, I won't bet in favor of Cape Verde because Argentina is far better than Cape Verde, and Cape Verde can't stop Argentina from proceeding to the round of 16. Even though Japan is a very good team right now, I think Brazil is stronger than them. That's why I think they'll win. Truth is, Brazil is experiencing some level of inconsistencies in this competition even with a good number of outstanding players. They're too relaxed on the pitch like they have all the time in the world to play, and that's not an attitude of a potential club that wants to win this trophy. Take a good look at the team of Brazilians that won the world cup last in 2002 and you'll see a huge difference---  they had the likes of Ronaldinho, Delima Ronaldo , Rivaldo, Cafu and the free kick machine, Roberto Carlos. German fans must be happy there team has qualified for the next round finally. In world cup 2022 and 2018, the German team was eliminated in first stage. Germany vs Ecuador game was entertaining as both teams scored goals in first 10 minutes and Plata scoring the winning goal for Ecuador in 77th minute. The goal from Plata not only helped his side in wining the game but also helped Ecuador in securing a place in next round.

In Germany the people are happy, that is tru. But it feels it is normal for Germany that they are in the next round, there is a pressure on the team. In Germany, many people it is normal that Germany will be in the top 3?4 teams in the world. Right now, i think they are playing well, but their power and physical strength arent so good. You could see that in the game vs the Ecuador, the players won a lot of one-on-one battles. In the end the better game will maybe win over physical strength.

Germany is not strong this year but i think it is strong enough to have an excellent world championship at least until the quarter-finals, however i don't understand how you can have a team that doesn't win while having an excellent football system like theirs, the world is really changing and the teams that were once certainties are no longer certainties.

After qualifying with five points I can say Portugal have achieved something very important which qualifying for the next round despite having some glitches in the group stage against DR Congo and the Columbian side, the Croatian team also had some problems trying to qualify but I dont think Croatia is a better team than the Portuguese, their knockout fixture would be a very crucial one because it means one of these teams would be eliminated and I hope it's not Portugal.

Portugal didn't expect that Dr congo would be strong to defeat. They underrated congo they thought it would be simple to secure all three points from the game. Congo was much stronger and their defense were very solid and Portugal were unable to score many score goals. Portugal could've defeated Congo on paper without breaking a sweat but in reality, Portugal tried all they could to score a second goal but Congo defense was very strong. Congo didn't possess the ball as much as Portugal did but they defended well in the match. Congo was able to secure four points so they are even better than Uzbekistan who can't secure a single point.

if Portugal had finished first in the group, they would have faced Argentina in quarter finals. in other words world cup final scenario i’ve been expecting wouldn't have happened.
but by finishing second, we are moving step by step toward that final I’ve been waiting for. Argentina vs. Portugal match on July 19, 2026.
