Brazil team came back great after the break against Japan in the round of 32 match of the FIFA World Cup as we saw that the Japanese player was able to take the lead by scoring a goal in just the 29th minute. Actually, I think that in this match against Japan, the Brazilian player Casemiro showed his experience because this player scored today to bring his team to the equalizer. On paper, we all might have considered Brazil as the favorite to win today's match but Japan surprised everyone with their great performance, this match is already tied so Brazil and Japan must play a lot of tactical football to win this match.

Heartbroken moment for Japan fan. Actually Japan play the best first of the worldcup they dominated the possession and also created very good chances but unfortunately badluck can destroy has dream to the next round. Brazil play good football in 2nd half but technically this is not what's we expect from Brazil we want more from Brazil but they are not favourite for me and hope they can knockout in the next round maybe it will be England or anything else but I want Brazil to out from the worldcup they are not good as for the favourite

Very disappointing game from Japan. I mean they have been the underdog for a reason but playing this weak was something I didn't expect for sure. Only 5 shots, very low possession and basically just standing deep waiting for Brazil to attack. Even a surprise lead didn't help them, they were just WAY to passive to win anything here. Once the equalizer was scored the writing was on the wall that this game will not go Japan's way. Of course it's kinda unlucky the way it ended conceding a goal that late in injury time, but they kinda deserved it for the way the played.
Well, just 1 team left to support and they might fly out in 3 hours as well, laaaaame.

With the way Japan I going their are ready defend their on goal till the very end of the match, we are at 60+ minutes into the match and yet the score line remains 1:1. Japan indeed supprise every body tonight with their performance in this match.

I also thought that Japan might be able to take full advantage of their early lead and try to be more aggressive and score more goals, but after they secured one, they started playing more defensively, they were not good at all in attack throughout the match, they tried to play defensively throughout the match, even after the equalizer in the 56th minute, they continued to play defensively, they did not play more strong in attack, and that was their mistake, if they had played offensively, their match would have been different. However, Brazil continued to play offensively throughout the match, 20 shots and 7 shots on target, but they had a hard time scoring goals as an attack, Japan's defense was really strong, but a goal by Gabriel Martinelli in the 96th minute secured their victory.

On paper, Germany should roll right through with Musiala and Wirtz, but that 2-1 loss to Ecuador proved they can completely switch off. Also, losing Schlotterbeck to that ankle injury hurts their backline.

Paraguay is pure grit. They literally played with 10 men against Turkey and still held onto a 1-0 win. If Germany doesn't score early, I can easily see Paraguay locking it down, frustrating them, and making it into the Round of 16.

I can understand if you thought that Japan could take advantage of their first half lead over Brazil even I thought the same thing, especially understanding how Japan has played although this tournament, but after the whistle for the second half maybe around the 50th minute I knew that there was no way Japan would win Brazil and go through to the next round.
I believe Brazil approached the second half in a different mannerism, they probably should have even equalised earlier but luck was firmly on the Japanese side but that luck ran out and Brazil tool full advantage of that.

I'm really enjoying the performance of Vini Jr. He really came for business and it's paying off cause he's even more devoted than when he's at his club side, Madrid.

Seriously this tournament the Japanese have been really good and sincerely against another opponent i would have fancy them but definitely I was definitely rooting for Brazil in this match and it actually came to light. It’s not that Brazil were actually that too superior to the Japanese but it’s definitely because of the current form that the Brazilian talisman Vinicius Junior is on right now. If a team is actually going against team with some as deadly as Vinicius I think they will really find it hard to win against them.

Brazil still weren’t convincing but they should continue to get scrappy wins like this as it will help them to grow in confident. Today I will say Carlo Ancelloti actually did well by making that substitution very early in the second half because it really Change the game totally for the Brazilian in the second half, if Brazil can play like they did in the second half I think it will be a matter of time

It was unfortunate that Japan scored first and at the same time the goal was scored so quickly by the Japanese player that none of us could have predicted. And even after that I saw that player many times and every time the ball reached him I was scared by his running because it was like he might score a goal. But unfortunately they could not score any more goals.

But whatever anyone says, I am a Brazil fan but today I became a fan after watching Japan's defensive performance. They played an amazing defense. The defenders maintained the proper alignment which was amazing, as a result of which Brazil faced many problems. Even two goals did not happen at all.

The game was heading into an extra 30mins only for Brazil to score a very late goal in the remaining 1 minutes to the end of the game. Japan was really unbelievable as they looked to be more composed where no one really expected them to be, Brazil struggle to break through their defense. Although I wasn’t really expecting much from the Brazilian team so I believe any team can win the game as Japan has equally played some good football during the group stages. Brazil looked the more experienced side which really was also pivotal to their win today. Congratulations to Brazil for securing a qualification into the next round.

Brazil just struggled too much! More than they could have in fact... But the main reason behind is really not having great players mostly in the squad I believe. So I agree with those people thinking like this.

Their next competitor is likely to be Norway if they don't fail against Ivory Coast. I doubt Brazil against Norway already.    Norway are much stronger than Japan in offense.

If Norway beats Ivory Coast, Brazil will have a very tough time. Norway's attack led by Haaland looks more impressive than Japan's which also caused problems for Brazil's defense. considering that Norway's defense isn't the most reliable either this could be a very entertaining match. Definitely I  won't gonna is agree with you on this point that Norway team is one of the is strongest team in this tournament specially much is stronger than the Japan team.

We already saw the Brazil team had face good struggling to win against Japan even I thought that  the match is going to be for the tie breaker. But fortunately the Brazilian player surprise the whole stadiums by scoring a simple goal. However, I think this kind of performance is not perfect for winning against Norway because the Norwegian team's defense and attack are both better than Japan's.

Brazil did what they needed to do in the last minute and managed to score their second goal. I think they're still not ready for the World Cup, they're still not playing as well as they'd like. Japan isn't a very strong team, but even against them they struggled to score.
Their next opponent won't be very strong either, they'll advance another round, but we'll see what they can do then

The Brazilians were unable to break through the strong Japanese wall as they tried several times without any success. The Japanese are good look at how they were holding the ball for long close to Brazil 18 yard box.

The mistake, I saw from the Brazilians was that they rushed to attack aggressively and lose guard their defense which led to that goal from Suno. After that goal, they came back to their senses that the Japanese attack is very effective. The second half will judge the final winner but currently, Japan is half way to the round of 16.

Unexpected first half, Brazil conceded, and now, at the end of the first half, Japan continues to control the match while Brazil are defending. It looks very strange, I noticed that Japan were in good form and had a very solid group stage, but I definitely did not expect Brazil to be losing and defending after the first half. I hope Brazil start playing better because I'm considering placing a live bet on Brazil to score.

Just because you opened the scoreline isn't a guarantee of winning the game because the end of the game matters a lot. Brazil pulled a stunt on Japan by giving them a frustrating defeat. They scored their winning goal to seal up their victory on the last minute of the game leaving Japan with no option than to accept defeat.

Brazil really used their quality to win the game and they game was very interesting from the beginning to the end of the game. Looking forward to watch the next game.

Brazil deserves to win because they were the better side in all ramifications. They dominated ball possession, created more chances, and had more shots on target. I was surprised that Japan took the lead because they were playing defensively.  But they took advantage of the few chances they created. It would have been a big blow for coach Carlo Ancelotti if Brazil was knocked out at this level. We are gradually seeing the Brazilian side that we used to know. They are more organised and dangerous in the attack. Let me join others to congratulate the Seleção for coming back from one goal down to win this important match.

The Japanese team has evolved over the years and it's not a surprise with what they have been doing in there years, they don't usually go far in the competition but they always make their presence felt against the big footballing countries. Last world cup it was Germany and I think they even beat them. When Belgium was the world's number one team back in 2018, they were a terror to the Belgium defence, just today we saw how they were a hard nut to crack against one of the most formidable teams in world football. Brazil had to bail themselves out today, Japan put them on the edge and they played their game and fought for the victory.

For me the biggest problem for Brazil is going through to the next round, Japan was a big test for them and in my opinion they actually did not play like a team that could win the world cup regardless they got a result but looking at the future this world cup isn't for Brazil.
There next opponent could be Norway and looking at how today went I don't think Brazil can easily put away Norway because they have the squad to really cause the Brazilian side enough problems.

Watching Vinicius Jr play in this world cup is like watching a new player from Brazil, I can't even lie, this is the best I have seen from Vinicius Jr play since Benzema left Real Madrid. If Vinicius Jr continues with this style of play I don't think he'd have issues with rival fans and Madrid would value his presence, he is playing with his mind like the dedication is too much and I applaud him for the effort he has shown to make his country go far.
This is what Madrid needs from everyone so they can be able to defeat any team that comes their way. Well, this is the World Cup and I still expect Brazil to win their next game in the round of 16 because this pressure they gave Japan is something I have been expecting them to come with all these while in the group stage but is still good they are awake, congratulations to Brazil and Vinicius Jr for a wonderful performance since the beginning of this FWC.
