I'm not really surprised about this Norway vs Ivory Coast results, I actually played Norway a direct winning knowing too well they were actually gonna Ivory Coast, because actually judge it from the yesterday game between Netherlands and Morocco I was quite certain that after Morocco escaped elimination yesterday I was sure Ivory Coast is not gonna escape it despite how formidable they have been in the group stage because I don't really see two Africa team making it to the round of 16 by eliminating two European countries just like that, this might sound funny but it actually worked.

The first surprise of the knockout stage came from Germany. Germany, which was expected to advance from the Round of 32, was unexpectedly eliminated by Paraguay. Second, a German economist’s prediction was proven wrong after the Netherlands lost to Morocco. I was quite amused that Germany and the Netherlands were eliminated on the same day. I heard that the police intervened against Moroccan fans in the Netherlands. They probably caused some disturbances, but nobody interferes with fans who are celebrating and cheering. Morocco certainly has a good squad and performed as well as possible in the group stage. I'm amazed at how Germany was eliminated. Letting it go to extra time was a mistake from the start. Paraguay beat Germany by playing a similar defensive game to the one they played against Türkiye, taking the match to penalties.

Despite that, Ivory Coast was eliminated. Honestly, they played very well, but they were just not lucky enough to beat Norway.In this game, I would not say that one team played better than the other. They both played well, and their performances seemed to be on the same level. It was only in the first half that I felt Norway had a slight edge over Ivory Coast in possession.I also expected the match to end in a penalty shootout, as most of the knockout-stage matches have. However, luck was on Norway's side, and the result went in their favor.but  Overall the game was very interesting as expected

The match is already over because Erling Haaland scored a winning goal for Norway in the 86th minute. It was a very balanced and close game between two strong teams. I really thought we were going to see a dramatic penalty shootout again after the equalizer, but luckily Norway managed to secure the 2-1 victory in regular time!
Now I'm just waiting for a high win for France and I'll be happy today

Germany crashing out at this stage in the World Cup is really scary. The way all these nations that we least expect to get to the round of 16 are dominating the competition is becoming quite alarming. It's as though the football status has flipped and the smaller nations don't respect anyone anymore. You either come into the pitch with your best form or you get knocked out, nothing like favorites or great names anymore.

it is so unbelievable because Germany is rated as one of the strongest wolrd cup teams. Germany that in the group stage beat a team 7:1 see how they got removed o easily. South America is really on fire in this world cup. The two games that Germany loose, they loose it to a south American. We use to hear before that Brazil and Argentina is the only good team in South America.

But now common Eucador and Paraguay that were not even considered as strong beat a whole Germany. Two South America team is through to RO16, watching out for other like Argentina and Columbia to join them

It was funny and sad at the same time that Amad Diallo's act didn't see his country through. The happiness lasted for a while and the table did turn quickly.

Even after Haaland rescue his country with that goal that I called undeserved, Amad didn't give up. He shot a fantastic free kick that nearly ended at the back of the net if not for the intervention of the goalie.

Congratulations The Vikins and my condolences to the Ivorians. Didia Drogba should be very sad tonight.

Norway versus Brazil should be another interesting game to watch, I can't believe this is Norway first for a long time in the world and they have already gotten to the round of 16 already and next task is for them to take on the mighty Brazil which from my observation haven't really impressed that much looking at the way they have really struggled in their games but when the atmosphere calls for it then maybe they will definitely turn up their performance.

I don't know if this is Norway's longest World Cup, but I can at least say that it's been a strong journey.

Even though I think Norway has the ability to beat a team like Brazil, even though Japan performed against Brazil yesterday, it was expected that Brazil would lose in the end, but Brazil was able to recover but didn't get much further in terms of scoring. And I think Norway is a stronger team than Japan, so Brazil will have to struggle more to face Norway.

The game was very tough and Ivory Coast tried their best but they are not clinical enough to use their chances, Ivory Coast played well and when they equalize i was thinking that maybe they will surprise us like the way Paraguay and Morocco did but Norway find their way to score a goal, Norway also deserve to win the game because they keep playing well when Ivory Coast equalize and Haaland score a winning goal for them in a crucial moment when they needed him most.

Ivory Coast should not feel bad about their performance because they show that they are capable of performing at the top level, what makes them not to score an early goal is the chances they missed and also the coach decision, Amad Diallo should have start the game because he is a player that is very difficult to play against, he can dribble in a tight spaces, he came on and score goal for his country and that shows that he should be starting every game for them.

Norway has assembled a fantastic team. They already have a top-tier striker, and their midfielders who feed him the ball are also good.
