We have seen some strange results in this world cup. Giant teams like Spain and brazil could not win their first match. Hot favourites like germany and Netherlands were eliminated in the round of 32 . Even then, I do not think any such miracle will  happen in this match.

As soon as Japan scored, something just told me it wasn't over. Brazil is one of those teams that no matter how bad they play, they always find a way back. It's like they have that winning DNA. Japan played well, but Brazil's experience and mentality just showed in the end. When it comes to big tournaments, some teams just know how to grind out results and Brazil proved that again. But they failed to capitalize on some of those opportunities to score more goals. One such opportunity was when Barcola broke through the Swedish defense and even entered the penalty box in the 81st minute. But he was too selfish or even didn't pass to his teammate, where he should have passed to Olise. However this match was a very exciting match in every half. France's performance was truly commendable. I was very happy with the outcome of this match even though I failed with my bet on over 3 goals.

One thing I can fully vouch for is that having quality squad is overrated. This World Cup proved the philosophy that having a good decision makers as a coach and the right mentality can bring a team success like what we saw when Paraguay faced and eliminated Netherlands, so saying England has quality squad doesn't cut it for me because another African team, that is Morocco regardless of there less top European players presence, they still advanced, so anything can happen

By the way, I'm not at all sure that France will easily defeat Paraguay with a crushing score. Paraguay is a very strong South American football team. They are very strong defensively. 🙋

But in this World Cup, we’ve truly seen quite a few surprises since the group stage began. Even in this Round of 32, there have been several more surprises, such as the elimination of Germany and the Netherlands. And there could very well be a few more surprises to come.

What’s clear is that teams that weren’t initially considered favorites are now  showing their improved strength. On the other hand, the favorite teams sometimes find themselves caught off guard, which puts them in a difficult position.

Both England and the Democratic Republic of the Congo are very  solid on defense. But England has more to offer than that. In both the midfield and the attack, this team is filled with players whose quality is beyond question.

I am definitely optimistic for Germany in this match, Germany will not make the same mistake as the Ecuador match at this time, because losing now means the end of all hope and journey, so Germany will definitely not lose easily.
