Bosnia and Herzegovina conceded goals that shouldn't have been conceded. It's puzzling how Bosnia and Herzegovina, who couldn't create a single scoring opportunity against America with only 10 men, even managed to get out of the group stage.
The goals they conceded were goals that wouldn't be conceded even in the lowest leagues. There were defensive errors and a weak goalkeeper.
Considering all this, America easily got through this stage despite being down a man.

Another extremely important match for both teams a knockout game. If you look at the stats and check the players' level Portugal will have the better odds. After their match with Colombia, I'm completely disappointed with the Portugal team, and I think they will lose this match. If the match goes to penalties they might win but otherwise I don't think they have much of a chance.

I feel very sad for Ronaldo supporters because tomorrow might be the last game of Ronaldo's World Cup career. But football is a game of miracles and anything can happen. I will also be happy if they win but that's what my analysis says. Good luck to them and may the best team win.

I'm just wondering, has Spain been able to score up to 6 goals in this tournament from when they started? I really can't remember because I'm really following them on this, they came into the competition with them being Spain and their Barcelona star boy who before the competition there were lots of noise about the Spanish team. It even got worse when I Real Madrid player was called for the competition. This Spain team in so far has been an average team, so if I hurt some feelings. This wasn't the kind of performance I was expecting from them, they haven't yet met a proper team, maybe if they do they might pick up but for now, they are just average. After Austra, they would either meet with Portugal or Croatia and if they win, they will meet France. I can't wait for that fixture.

Kane really saved England yesterday against DR Congo. However, the question everyone is asking is how their game will be against Mexico. As they have made it to the Round of 16, it will not be as easy for them. I don’t even think Mexico will make the game easy for them, because they will also try their best to see that they make it to the quarter-finals. All I will say is, let's just wait and see how the game will end for them.

When it gets into the round of 16, it is no longer easy for any country. England wouldn't want to lose the lead by two goals against Mexico, they may not be that lucky to survive on some exceptional performance from any of the player to win them back the game, in a way Kane did against DR Congo.

Mexico is a strong hearted team, they won't loosen up to two goals in less than ten minutes, England has to do better or sent back home, though i think they have the winning chance over Mexico.

It was literally what Ivory Coast did yesterday when they played against Norway and finally lost.

It is the same with Senegal. Dominate the first part of the game and lost it all to Belgium. When it is time to show up for themselves,  these African sides always flop badly. I can not believe Congo, Senegal and Ivory Coast are all gone in a space of two days pathetic.

I still don’t understand what happened in the game between Senegal vs Belgium. Senegal was leading 2-0 in the 80 minute of the game, only to end up conceding two goals in the space of 10 minutes. Honestly, this is why we say that football is unpredictable, who could have expected Senegal concede two goals in the last two minutes and lost in the extra time. Ivory Coast, tried to stop Norway but they couldn’t do anything after conceding in the last minute.

However, out of 9 African teams that qualified for the round of 32, 4 teams are already eliminated and 1 has qualified for the rounds of 16, and other 4 teams are yet to play. Senegal dominated Belgium throughout the game, so im still wondering how they couldn’t defend tye two goals lead, especially in the 80 minutes of the game. It was very disappointing.

Spain are not just lucky. If not, in this first half they may have scored up to two or three goals. Spain has been dominating since the beginning of the match. They are playing well. Austria is a very weak team as an opponent. In the first half, Austria's players were able to make perhaps 1 strong attack. Both their attack and defense are weak. In the first half, Spain's players had 64% ball possession. You are right because it was only half chance that Austria got to find the back of the net in the first half. I expect more goals from Spain in the second half because one goal isn't enough for us to say that Spain is better than Austria. Spain also need to show this with the number of goals they will score because it's easy to get an equalizer on one goal

Normally it’s a match that United state are suppose to win. I know it’s not really possible for Bosnia and Herzegovina to win the match, and they couldn’t get a win in the match. United state have been performing well since the beginning of the World Cup, they lost just a match which was against Turkey in the group stage, I knew a team like Bosnia and Herzegovina cant just stop the United state from qualifying for the next round. Even with a man down, United state were still able to get a win in the match, they scored their second goal after the red card in the match.

Subbing off De Bruyne, De Cuyper, De Ketelaere and Doku. and immediately bringing on impactful players like Lukaku, Raskin and Lukebakio turned the tide in their favor. With the opponent also wearing down, they managed to take the game to extra time with that final Meunier move.

In the last minutes of the match, Belgium scored the equalizer, taking the game to extra time. This was a huge comeback for Belgium. I don't remember many other countries making such a great comeback in the World Cup. We watched one of the most enjoyable matches of the World Cup. The Belgian coach doesn't seem to have any concerns about bringing on his star players.

btw who were the ones calling this the most boring World Cup?   Every knockout game has been pure drama. it's been incredible so far. with 48 teams, the group stage was a bit weak but from what i've seen in the knockouts, this is going to be an epic World Cup.

 Spain can do better in the second half if they are more clinical. It's very obvious that Austria aren't playing anything that should threaten the defense of Luis de la Fuentes men. Spain caused so many upsets in the fort half and if it hadn't been for the cancelled goal and the ball that hit the woodwork amongst others, I feel they should have at least three goals or more.

I think the World Cup in this format has become much more enjoyable. Not only has it become a truly global tournament with the participation of many teams, but we also see many teams advancing to the next round. In this respect, with its spectators, its games, its fans, and its surprising results, I think this World Cup is one of the most enjoyable World Cups ever.

Spain dominated the game, even they really struggled to penetrate the Austrian defense, but in the end Mikel Oyarzabal managed to put Spain ahead 1-0 . This match was not as boring as you think, in fact I saw it as a thrilling match considering what Germany and the Netherlands had experienced in the previous match. Spain are clear favourites on paper, but Austria cannot be underestimated as a team.

I honestly do not agree with the statement about the boring performances of European teams. There are indeed some teams that perform not as expected, but I can not generalize all the same just because one two teams. The performances of European teams tend to focus on ball possession, especially Spain, but such is the strategic approach.
