He scored a goal and I was thinking it will be the end for Cape Verde but I heard some noise and I checked and saw that Cape Verde has equalised the score. This is something that is so interesting. I am heading to finish the match now. I wasn't interested to watch the match but I am very much interested now.

But there is still time. It is just 60 mins, which means Cape might be in a bigger problems now. I cannot say until I go to watch by myself. Many people predicted that Argentina will humiliate Cape but it's not that easy

What I did not understand the substitution of the Australian goalkeeper Patrick Beach right before the penalty shootout, who made some incredible saves in the match only to be replaced by another goalie Mathew Ryan, who actually missed everything. I am not sure whether the coach was thinking about some tactical genius or a massive blunder in changing the goalkeeper at the most crucial time.

It was supposed to be a tactical genius move but ended up being a disaster. Tony Popovic was trying to replicate a famous move from the 2014 World Cup, when Netherlands manager Louis van Gaal substituted his starting goalkeeper for Tim Krul before the penalty shoot out. This move was praised as a masterclass because Netherlands won the match after Tim Krul saved the penalties.

I don’t know what you would call what Argentina is playing today because, they look pretty serious to me. I said it before the match that Cabo Verde are the dark horse in the World Cup, you guys thought I was overreacting. The game is now 1-1 with less 8 minutes extra time. I reckon they will fight to take the game to  penalties and eliminate Argentina from the World Cup. And even if they lose, they can go home with their heads held high because the world knows they were absolutely class in the tournament.

What the hell is this Cape Verde. They play so crazily against Argentina. Just after Martinez scored additional goal for Argentina, then their player is doing a beautiful shoot from the left side. Very sad dumb Emiliano Martinez can't block it.
The game is now 2-2. It's very possible we're going for Penalty.

From what i see Argentina looks so desperate to score. They have to give it all in the last minutes like this.

They lost in overtime but they are unbeaten at this world cup over 90 minutes, that's actually crazy for an underdog of this caliber. Hopefully these guys will be rewarded with some decent contracts at some clubs or something, they certainly deserve everything that's coming to them. Played better than my German team, that's for sure.

Argentina are already 3-2 up. Cape Verde have been very competitive. Argentina have scored the third goal in the 111th minute and are still in the game. I personally want Argentina to stay in the World Cup. Winning this match is very important for them but it was expected that Cape Verde would play this well. It is still too early to say anything for sure before the end of extra time because there are still a few minutes left in the game.
