Surely, Argentina path is one of the easiest so far, this looks purely biased if you ask me.. I know for sure that most teams like Portugal aren't organized like Argentina is... But am very sure that if Argentina followed the same path as say Portugal, they may not have made it to where they are right now.. It is highly reckless to say that playing Switzerland is an automatic win for Argentina. Switzerland might not be a football powerhouse, but this is the World Cup, where even an underdog can win. Germany was also tipped to win in the round of 32, but Paraguay sent them home at that stage. On top of that, the Argentines spent a massive amount of energy and emotion in their match against Egypt, which could negatively impact their performance against Switzerland. Besides, underestimating an opponent has never done a favorite any favors.

The draws for this World Cup were done months ago. We all watched the draws. Portugal, Argentina, and every other country knew their group and what they needed to do to qualify. So, how come now, you guys are turning this into a conspiracy.
Portugal finished second in their group, which is why they faced Spain and got knocked out. If they topped their group, they would have faced Ghana in the round of 32, Switzerland in the round of 16 and then Argentina in the quarter finals. They could not top their group, so they faced Croatia and Spain and got knocked out. It was not FIFA that told Ronaldo not to top their group.
Argentina, on the other hand, tops their group, and they played Cape Verde in the round of 32. Cape Verde qualified ahead of Uruguay. It was not FIFA that told Uruguay not to qualify. Then Argentina narrowly escaped Cape Verde and faced Egypt.

You are absolutely right, I completely agree with you, the referee's position on the field of play is neutral, but watching this match, it didn't seem like the referee's position was neutral there, rather, the referee was clearly in favor of Argentina and gave them the maximum advantage, even the advantage of canceling Egypt's goal, Wow. I don't know how you consider the teams that qualified for the quarterfinals as weak. You probably considered Cabo verde and Egypt as weak too. But both of these teams performed well. Egypt was unlucky for sure. So  they lost even though they were leading by  2 goals. But they performed well throughout  the match. I also saw the colombia vs  Switzerland match. This team is also capable of playing well. The Swiss players are also capable of counterattacking quite quickly. I would not  be surprised if Argentina loses this match. However, if Argentina wins against switzerland,  they will face England or Norway in the semis. Would you  also call these two teams weak ?

Football is full of surprises, after what we saw in the last game between Argentina and Egypt. Egypt performance was far beyond our expectations. They played really well, despite the fact that Argentina turned everything around in the final minutes and scored three goals to win im the last minute. Some people were very disappointed after the hard work Egypt put into the game from the beginning, they couldn’t even maintain the lead throughout the match.

Argentina has been playing against average teams since the group stage of the tournament. They has been playing against African teams, in the round of sixteen they played against Egypt, while other teams were busy playing against big teams like Spain and Norway. It’s possible for Argentina to get knocked out even before the final.

The fact that Ronaldo went up and said "I won with Portugal and before me they won nothing" is basically just making the news all about himself on a day they got knocked out, that is very sad and to see someone drop that low is very sad without a doubt.

I want to also say the same things that Argentina team right now in on that position that they can make any kind of surprising performance for the opponent team and we saw that kind of performance in the previous match against the Egypt. I will just say that it was a great comeback I don't think that this kind of comeback can do any other team on this current era. Even then some people are questioning about the foul on salah but that was fair enough because Salah lose his ball control first then he faced by tackle from the Argentina player.

After Argentina dramatic and controversial victory over Egypt, I doubt Switzerland can maintain their unbeaten run.

Several times when Argentina has been in a stalemate or struggling in a match, the referee has always given them an advantage. This was evident in Argentina's victory over Cape Verde and, most recently, against Egypt. Just look at the referee's decision-making, which always favors Argentina, even when it comes to Var decisions. For example, when there's physical contact with an Argentine player, the referee quickly checks Var, but not the other way around.

No one can doubt Argentina quality especially since they have excellent players. However, sometimes their victories are fraught with controversy, as if they're being protected. The referee should be fair. If Argentina can easily win by checking Var or making decisions, the referee should do the same for other teams. As was the case with Egypt second goal, the referee immediately consulted VAR, disallowing it. However, for Argentina third goal with the same issue but a different decision the referee ignored VAR. This is what makes Argentina the golden child of this World Cup.

There was indeed a lot of controversy after their match today, and I'm tired of reading about it in various media outlets. For some reason, the referee wasn't completely neutral during the Argentina match, so everyone knew that the referee was indeed unfair in his decisions. And if this continues in the next match when Argentina plays another team, I don't think this World Cup will be interesting to watch anymore because everyone already knows who will be the champion.

It could be said that the World Cup was the worst due to numerous controversies. The most notable was the incident involving Balogun who had received a red card in the previous match, but was allowed to play in the match against Belgium after Trump intervened. However, this was not the case with Olise yellow card. The French federation also appealed the yellow card received against Paraguay but FIFA decided to uphold it and Olise yellow card stood. A double standard, isn't it?

Besides that the Egypt vs Argentina match was highly controversial. I don't need to explain just browse social media and you'll find plenty of content discussing this match. Argentina certainly performed very well in this match, and they were indeed better than Egypt in terms of quality but the problem was that there were numerous instances of unfairness in this match which was truly regrettable.

Small thing first. Beating Switzerland sends them to the semis not the quarters. They are already IN THE QUARTERS haha. But your overall message is right on the money. Like they could just be able to get to the final and never have to deal with a team that would really keep them up at night. Jordan. Algeria. Cabo Verde. Egypt. Now Switzerland who are fine but - fine.

If Norway beat England and then Argentina beat that game... That is a final with no top 10 opponents played down the way. I have no idea how to classify that historically.

Wow you play football? That's really nice and I guess that's why you we see it that way. I am also a Ronaldo fan and I also don't think anything was wrong with the Portugal's game or officiating. Right from the start Portugal players didn't show any passion playing and they have themselves to blame for not going far in the Tournament, Ronaldo's teammates didn't even play for him, It's like they don't respect him. When I see how Argentina players work hard and play for Messi I envy them but let's see what Portugal turns to when Ronaldo retires, I hope they get better.
