They say there are no weak teams at this stage of the World Cup. So I guess it's fair to say Morocco is simply having a very bad day today. Unfortunately, Morocco didn't have a single shot on target. The French goalkeeper didn't make a single save. They could have played without a goalkeeper today. Morocco can't threaten France at all. It's a pity they play so bad.

I don't know what happened to Morocco, but it seems they are not really ready to face this quarter-final, because this is like a match that doesn't really show that this is a quarter-final, there is nothing interesting about the way Morocco plays, or in fact Francis is on a different level, to be honest it's a bit disappointing, but congratulations to Francis, they have been very solid from the start of the competition until this quarter-final, whether it's Belgium or Spain who will be their opponents in the semi-final, they are still the favorites.

The France national team is showing once again that it's one of the greatest of all time, especially in recent World Cups. They are doing incredibly well and advancing to the semifinals. Maybe the only one who can take the title of all-time top World Cup goalscorer is Mbappé, and I strongly believe he will achieve this feat, since he is only 27 years old with another World Cup ahead of him, and he is just 2 goals behind Lionel Messi.

France knocked out Morocco in the quarter final and this was an exceptional game for France because they were the better team. They pressed Morocco who happen to be packing in the box without any cringe of scoring goals. This game for Morocco was more like, holding down France from scoring and dragging them to extra time but reverse was the case because Kylian Mbappe have taken it upon himself to become a very important player for France, although he missed a penalty but still go ahead to open the scoring for France then Ousmane Dembele follow suits to double their lead. I'm seeing France in the world cup final because I don't think anyone can stop them

France qualify for the semifinals as expected, despite the penalty miss by Mbappe, I knew they would still qualify, they looked like the proper team in this world cup, no controversy or anything that suggests of such even in the last world world cup and the one before that. Descamps has done a really good job with these boys, he has set a presidence for the next coach. Morocco were no match for this team but they tried their best, they didn't fall back in defence as most teams would do when they see that they are outperformed and outclassed, they came and played their normal football anything they got back the ball. In this world cup, both Morocco and Cape Verde impressed the most with Egypt coming in third place for the continent.

The last African country have been knocked out of the World Cup by France, well it was an expected result for me. France have been the best team in this World Cup and they are clearly favorites to win it. After this win against Morocco they have now booked a place in the semi finals. They did well today, even though Mbappe missed from the penalty spot.

Mbappe is now tally with Messi on the same goal, though messi have a game in hand to play against Switzerland. France now will face Spain or Belgium in the semi finals. It a dominating performance from them, they created lot of chances and should have scored more.

I'm very happy that I bet on France to win; I knew they would win and wouldn't disappoint me. With their strong defense and excellent attack, it was clear they would have an easier game. As for Morocco, they didn't play well. I don't know what happened to them in this game, but they were a different team from other matches. They didn't have much motivation to play. Anyway, France won and qualified for the next phase; now they just need to see who their next opponent will be. If they play against Spain, then they will have difficulties, but if it's against Bergica, they won't have any problems.

Mbappe could have been on 9 goals by now if it wasn't for that missed penalty. He should have been sitting clear at the top of the scoring chart. Morocco did well and they should be proud, but man, it is painful to be knocked out by the same country twice back to back. That's a tough one to swallow. I guess this final will eventually be between Argentina and France and the Golden Boot race will likely stick between Messi and Mbappe. Two great players going head to head on the biggest stage.

Morocco said they are not representing Africa, this is what they get at the end of the day, beating by France from the second half by two goals, they couldn't go further from where they stopped in the last World Cup.

This is a completely false representation of facts. It was fake propaganda created and spread through social media and nothing else. This is the problem with social media; people believe any fabricated news and start attacking the team just before a crucial match.

Coming to the game, it was a great first half. France won a penalty, but Kylian Mbappé failed to score thanks to a great save by the Moroccan goalkeeper, Yassine Bounou. The second half was tactically different for France; they were able to break through the Moroccan defense, leading to a beautiful goal by Kylian Mbappé. Ousmane Dembélé then scored another goal within minutes, sealing the match for France.

Once you are matched against France, it’s almost certain that you are on your way out of the World Cup. That has being the fate of all the sides that have being faced this France side in the World Cup. I would have liked to see Morocco last a little longer in the World Cup but, not at France’s expense, no. France is the one team that have got what it takes to play Argentina right now. They are the most suitable to winning this seasons World Cup.

As I tried to explain several times, it is not a victory because of France strength, but because of Morocco weakness. This is a major problem of almost all the african teams including local clubs. They can't play with full performance until the last second of the match.  We all thought that Morocco might be an exception but it always proves me wrong with important matches. African teams are not yet ready to play in finals. Let's wait another decade or hoping a revolution to change this reality.

Many fans were supporting Morocco, and generally weaker teams get more support.
France was such a team that it was a completely effortless match for Maignan in goal. Morocco only managed to get to the goal once or twice throughout the game. There was the penalty that Mbappe missed. Bounou saved one penalty in the World Cup. Mbappe sent the penalty so confidently to the right corner that it was very obvious, like a pass to the goalkeeper. He missed the penalty, but still scored. The other goal was scored by Dembele. France easily found the goals in the second half.

It's good to see them one more time. France has done the job with pretty awesome display. Morocco was too tough for them because they are using a high defensive approach but fortunately France got succeeded to move to an advance stage. Now they will between Belgium and Spain like winner will be play against them. I think Spain have high probabilities as compared to Belgium and to be honest this match will be an amazing challenging core for all of us.....

However, France play beautiful football. Initially Morocco was bit heavier even Yasin Buno saved a penalty for Kilyan Mbappe but soon he break the deadlock with beautiful bangers and after that Dembele got another one which make the scored bord 2-0.

Mbappe didn’t just missed but the goalkeeper produced a good save out of it. He literally held the ball tight and didn’t give any chance for a rebounce or corner even. It was a poorly taken penalty for Mbappe but we all knew he was going to make up for it. The Morocco goalkeeper made sure to come up with a lot of saves today to keep the team afloat. Eventually, the goals started coming in the second half and no better players to score the goals than Dembele and Mbappe.

The French team was able to win in the end and they created such an aggressive attitude that they did not give the Moroccan team any chance to attack. In this game, the French team players performed perfectly, and had three goal opportunities, the first penalty was missed by Mbappe.
However, the Moroccan team was right and was leading for a long time with the victory, but in the last half of the game, the French team players became more aggressive and were able to score two goals in a row. Again, like the last World Cup, the Moroccan team lost to France in this 2026 World Cup.

Congratulation to France they did very well in this match I was really expecting Morocco to give them a tough time but they did not, France is definitely going to win this world cup they are performing very well and they have good players, Mbappe missed a penalty today and also scored a very wonderful goal, I'm so happy for him if he did not score today or France did not win their match today I know a lot of people would have come online to insult him but he prove everybody wrong and shown that he's a word class and a very talented player congratulation to him.

I don't think many supported Morocco because they were the underdogs but rather because they were the only African team remaining in the world cup especially looking how well they have performed against other top twams in Africa.

Morocco did well enough but France continues their dominace, if only Morocco advance more I would have been more accurate to say Bounou would have been the goalie of the tournament but now I'm just kinda prophetic

It was a fully deserved win for France as they played a very one-sided football. Morocco had better be just thankful for their goalkeeper Bono...

He saved a ton of more potential goals.    They were really disappointing as a team by the way. Of course it's not easy to deal with the biggest favourite. But Morocco also had decent players to create some chances normally...

From what I could see, Morocco was only able to keep up with France for one half, and what ultimately doomed Morocco was fatigue—that fatigue took its toll with two goals at the moment when they were most vulnerable. That’s the key point: that moment of weakness. That’s when Morocco lost. Besides not attacking France aggressively enough, did Morocco deserve to lose? Yes, because whoever advances from the Spain-Belgium match—which I think will be Spain—in that case Morocco would have lost. Now, between France and Spain, that will be a semifinal that feels like a final.

The game was interesting, seeing how Mbappe and Dembele switched hands in that game, scoring goals and getting France the win. Mbappe's goal was assisted by Dembele, and Dembele's goal was also assisted by Mbappe.
What a good cooperation between these two young talents!

Mbappe and Dembele kind of got a good understanding of each other, and that's a beautiful thing, especially when two players are working hand in hand to achieve a common goal, as this World Cup is very important to these young talents because no one knows when the opportunity is gonna come to them again after they lost the last World Cup trophy to Argentina.

This is their biggest opportunity to take this trophy home this tournament, having reached this stage once more as they're both very young now. The next World Cup is 2030, and age may not actually be in their favor just as it's right now.
