Spain have been so defensively strong in this competition, it’s crazy how they’ve managed that in a tournament filled with goals, it’s superb what those guys are doing.

Somehow I still feel this is not the best of Spain we’re seeing, but they’ve been getting the job done. Belgium an on and off team, if they let Spain get the first goal it’s really going to be difficult for them to get back in, their only defense is to attack first and try to get the first goal.

Probably there is a huge difference compared to the Spain we saw during the last Euro Cup: the wings. Yamal is not at his best because he was injured (and yet every time he has the ball you know he can create something out of the blue), and Nico Williams had a very mediocre season, during the Euro Cup he was on fire, Spain literally had two arrows on the field. It's a pity he couldn't keep up with the performances.

I agree about the wings; that drop in intensity from Nico Williams and Yamal's fitness issues really changed Spain's dynamic compared to the Euros. It might force them into a more tactical approach tonight. Lukaku and Doku will definitely test Spain's defensive discipline, which hasn't conceded a goal yet.
