Last night, Spain managed to defeat Belgium with a narrow score of 2-1, so with this, Spain has now qualified for the semifinals and will face France. I think France is clearly a very difficult opponent for Spain, because as we all know, France is currently performing very well and even big teams have been defeated by France. So, because of that, I think in the upcoming semifinals, the Spanish players must be able to play even better, and of course, must have a very good strategy.

Because the opponent they will face in the semifinals is clearly not an ordinary team, but a truly extraordinary team. I suspected that Youri Tielemans and Thibaut Courtois' injuries would affect Belgium's performance. The captain is an important player that have been instrumental to the success of the team. The second goal was caused by a goalkeeping blunder. I don't think Courtois would have punched that ball in that direction since it was a long-range shot. Senne Lammens giving up that long rebound gave Mikel Merino a clear chance to score.

The game between Spain and France might be the final before the finals. France have been very impressive in the attack, scoring the highest goals (16) in the tournament. While the Spanish side just conceded its first goal yesterday, which shows the strength of their defence.

Once again Spain won by a 1-goal margin but, to be honest, I wasn't particularly impressed with their performance. Let's not forget that Belgium were playing without Tielemans, which was playing a great tournament (besides being the captain), and then Courtois got injured, and that completely changed everything. For sure France vs Spain is probably going to be the most interesting match of this whole World Cup but France look quite superior to Spain, they really impressed me.

I don't know I think that narrow score is of your own opinion because the least I know despite the fact Belgium has been amazing in this year FIFA world they are never a match for Spain, and scoring 2 goals and not even a dying minute 1 goal is never to me a narrow score, and again I think this mark the end of the road for Spain because I'm very much certain they can't go through France in the semis, my prediction will still work as I have predicted France and Argentina for the final then France go home with the trophy because they definitely the most formidable team in this year FIFA world and I see no one standing on their way.

Not entirely convincingly but it's not like the Belgium side fared any better. Honestly, I began regretting why Senegal had to mess up like that cause they could have presented more attack and threat against Spain if they had being the ones to come through cause I also believe they would have beat USA too since Belgium were just spectacular only in their game against the USA. I feel it was pure luck on Belgium's side that made that last this long and it's equally a relief that Spain knocked them out.

Back to today's game England VS Norway, a tough match but England are the favorite to win this match. I don't know if Declan rice will be fit for this game. But what Norway has showed us in their recent matches means we shouldn't underrated them.  So I see England getting a narrow win today. As for Argentina vs Switzerland, the Argentina team has conceded 2 goals back to back in this knockout phase, so I expect Switzerland to also get a goal too and cause some damage, but I will still pick Argentina to win.

I am sure you are not a seasonal fan. You watch football during the entire Premier League, if I am not wrong. You love it. I expect such statements from seasonal fans who watch football once a year or once every couple of years. There were no VARs back in 2014, 2010, or even 2018. Argentina could have another World Cup next to their name if there were VAR, which we have today. I am a Brazil fan because I have seen some matches and highlights, and I feel like the World Cup was stolen from Argentina. Compared to those days, we have VAR today. Even if the ref makes a mistake or tries to side with a team, the VAR will check it and overturn the decision. So, as I said, I do not expect statements like this from you.

Spain defeat Belgium because they were the better team in the game, although Belgium tried their best and if not for the mistake from Lammens that cause the goal the match might end up in an extra time, Belgium put a good performance and i also can not say that Spain won the game by luck because even before the game we all know that Spain will qualify for the next round and play against France and that game is going to be the best match in this tournament because both teams are very good and have world class players.

Norway does not have anything special except Erling Haaland who can decide a match by a single moment. Like in the match with Brazil, he only need a few seconds of bad defense from Gabriel to make a headshot and score first goal for Norway. Before that goal, Haaland had disappointed 80 minutes even he created pressure on both Gabriel and Marquinhos. With a striker, no goal, no shot, it's a bad match but Haaland only need that moment to change everything.

In this quarter final match against England which have performed better than Brazil, Norway will again have to wait for magic moments from Haaland. If England can control Haaland in this match, they will almost eliminate risk of having a defeat but they must learn from a defeat of Brazil. Giving Haaland some seconds of freedom on the pitch means a conceded goal to come.

Why do people still believe France can't win Spain, I came across a post that Lamine Yamal said they are going to win Spain, that they have knocked them out before so they will still do it, I only smiled at that post, he should take a look at then France and this current France there's a huge difference, they were very lucky to have pass Portugal, had it been Portugal played like a team there was no way Spain Could have won that game, but I bet they ain't getting such luck on France, as I'm very much certain this is the end of the road for them.

France faced a little more difficulties to win the match against Paraguay. But they won all the other matches very easily. Spain is also in good form. And as you said, all the teams that can go to the semi-finals are good enough teams. But I have a feeling that this time France will not go to the final.
