Congratulations to England, they deserve to win Norway in that match because they played more better football, Jude Bellingham did very well, his actually having the best World Cup performance of his career and that’s a good one for him, his a very good player and with this kind of performance from him I’m sure England has a bigger chance of winning the World Cup.
Again congratulations to Argentina even though there was another controversy of FIFA supporting and packing Argentina to win the match by the red card the referee gave to Switzerland player, I’m sure that if Argentina win the World Cup a lot of people will say it’s because FIFA decided to back them up and give it to them, but history will say Argentina lifted the 2026 World Cup and that’s it, history will never say FIFA helped Argentina to lift the cup.

Actually, it seems that the England team is in great form in this World Cup because we can see that this team has already qualified for the semi-finals. England managed to defeat Norway 2-1 in the last match, but we feel that England may not have completely dominated this match. One thing to note is that Jude Bellingham is playing the most aggressively for England as I noticed this player scored two goals alone against Norway and he also scored two goals against Mexico. However at this stage it is hoped that he may be able to become more aggressive against Argentina in the semi-final match as well.

I was disappointed to see Norway eliminated in this round.
They might have advanced had they gone into halftime leading 1-0, but Bellingham's last-minute goal made it 1-1 at the break.
Ryerson's injury in the second half was also a blow for Norway.
I would have liked to see Norway—a team that brought great entertainment to the tournament with both its fans and its football—in the semi-finals.

The referee showed him a card here according to FIFA rules. And if he gets two yellow cards, he naturally gets a red card and leaves the game. And in a match like the World Cup, there is no way for flexibility. And if the referees act flexibly or start making decisions with emotions, then there will be more controversy. Switzerland then scored, and the game ended in a draw. But the funniest moment of the game was when a Swiss player simulated a foul. He clearly threw himself to the ground to blame the Argentinian player, and thanks to VAR, justice was served and he received a red card (due to it being his second yellow card). The game went to 30 minutes of extra time, but Argentina won.

I knew Switzerland would not be able to make it, nonetheless, they have my respect in this match; I never knew they could hold Argentina from the 72rd minute when Embolo received the red card. Equalizing Argentina and even holding them from scoring another goals for a whole 40 minutes despite being 10 players again 11 players that are even better than them is no joke. At this point, I guess the match will end with a result similar to this because Argentina is good with both defense and attacking. The attempt of Switzerland will highly likely be futile.

Honestly, I was really disappointed in Argentina. I didn't think they would play such a disappointing game. No doubt, The Swiss put up a good fight but Argentina were not as clinical as I expected. Placing my bet on them winning after the second half made me lose my bet and ruined my ticket, I was and still disappointed in them mtchew.

There is no doubt Norway plays exceptionally well, but their luck was not with them. England has a better squad they give a tough time and also have better control of the ball. This helps them win and join teams in the semifinal.

Bellingham was at the top through his skills and performance. Still, it's good performance from Norway; after a long time they have a spot in the World Cup and give good entertainment by beating Brazil, and having a spot in the quarterfinal is a good achievement. Hopefully, they will keep consistency and have better performance in the coming World Cup. The semifinal is going to be not easy, as all the top favourite teams have spots. All of quaterfinals result came as I and most of regular football fans predicted. The semi finalist team turned out to be exactly what most of the people predicted when the official draw was out. They are the top 4 teams in ranking as well.
It would now be more difficult to predict. Spain has a good defense but they lack players to produce scoring shots, France too was not as impressive lately. England looks good but they are winning with difficult and Argentina are just getting through games.

And they regretted it  anyway . I'm  sure an early two goals could have changed the outcome of the game, there's no way Norway is exposing their defense anymore after that 2 goals, there shouldn't  even be an extra time .

As if that were not enough , they removed haaland (or maybe he asked for it)  but at a crucial moment to secure a tie,it's a No for me unless he asked for it. If he didn't  then the coach must have been thinking  of the next game already .

Norway could have won too. i think they played well, too.
imo, the turning point was when Sorloth didn't pass to Haaland... if he had done that, it would have been 2-0 and match would have ended in Norway's favor.

Apart from Argentina, I also agree with you that they all deserve their place in the semi finals of the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

Congratulations on winning your bet, asides from the drama and VAR timely justice which landed the Swiss player the red card, one good thing that I noticed I'm the match is Argentina player's composure during the whole extra time which was longer than normal time even though Argentina was on the red zone before the extra time the 90 minutes record 1:1 goals and the extra 2 goals came in in the extra time which is the most remarkable thing for Argentina team. J. Álvarez and L. Martínez scored the final 2 goals making Argentina ahead 3- 1. Overall, Argentina accumulated 3 yellow cards and Switzerland got 1 yellow card and a red card at the same time overall the match was exciting and congratulations once again on winning.

France vs Argentina looks more like a good prediction. With overall England performance I don't think they will be able to eliminate Argentina. And France will definitely eliminate Spain.
So I feel it will be left with Argentina and France.

England is certainly not having a very good performance in the 2026, World Cup. They’ve struggled a lot when met with a side that offers a little more challenge. They’ve struggled narrowly escaped Norway yesterday and did that after taking a break from the final whistle. It was a much needed one and good enough they had good defense but Norway did take the game to them.

In my opinion, Spain and Argentina will advance to the final. I’d really love to see Yamal face off against Messi because it would be a huge stage for Yamal, he’d get to see his idol and a living legend in person. Although many people are predicting that France will face Argentina in the final, personally, to be honest, my biggest hope is to see Yamal share the field with Messi, even if they have to play against each other.
