That's my take here as well. I don't think England will just sit there and permit for the referee to play favorites. As long as he is being fair with his judgment, I believe they won't contest the decisions. Besides, it can be reviewed thru VAR (Video Assistant Referee). So if the human referee don't want to have trouble, he will surely perform his duty accordingly. The VAR recordings can be reviewed and if it has proven that the referee is making mistakes consistently, I don't think he will keep his job. So if he doesn't want to lose his job, he will do his duty with fairness and discard his personal grudges or whatnot.

I would say that the referee did not show any bias in any match. Some  of the referee's decisions may have gone in favor  of argentina. But every decision was within the rules. The referee did not give any decision outside  the rules.

Beat a strong team? I would say that for France, Spain and England but not for Argentina.
What do you expect from the group phase with opponents who are far away in terms of experience and rank. The knock out phase was also not much different, they faced Cape Verde who performed solidly but the fifa ranking was at 64, the last 16 they faced Egypt who was in fifa rank 29 and their quarter final beat Switzerland who was in position 19 and 3 this match was passed by Argentina very difficult because it took 120 minutes for 2 matches and 1 controversial match.

So to say 3 teams out of the total semi-finals worked hard I quite agree it's just that I still made Argentina as another option because they didn't even beat a single strong team from the group phase until the semi-finals now.

Good to read an opinion like yours because all sports are mostly only about the end result, but as a big football fan I think a sense of reality is important and if France doesn't win it because they have a lucky punch against them in a semifinal or final, which can always happen to any team, it doesn't mean they were not the best. I don't think there is anyone out there who has a good understanding of football and does not come to the conclusion that France is the best team. They are the best team.

I don't know what's a reasonable excuse when it comes to getting people to tend to assume that Argentina are benefiting from FIFA as well as the referees so far. Argentina played as they should, they are not like a team capable of intervening in the decisions of referees or FIFA compared to some other countries. Apart from just hatred towards Messi and others, I think the accusations about referees and FIFA siding with Argentina in my opinion are just something that cannot be accounted for.

The World Cup is an international tournament and I don't think the organizing party will be happy to help in every way one or another country in its interests. Argentina is a country that can not bring great influence on FIFA, but some people actually twist the facts and point the finger at things that should not. Here I have to agree with you about this because I am also watching all the games and have a great feeling France is the much better side in this event because their attack is working much better than all other teams, while Spain is good in defense, but their attack is not as deep as France's. If both teams will be playing through counterattacks, this could be good; otherwise, I am expecting France will have a better edge to win through their superior attack, which has good top-quality players.
