I was very disappointed with France performances in the first half, how the so many people’s expecting France to do well honestly their performances wasn’t that encouraging their game is even stable at all is just be like their afraid to enter Spain house. But anyway I will never judge them yet since there’s still second half, let see what can happen in the second the best for them they should come back strongly; if they don’t want to be eliminate by Spain.

If I wasn't watching the game, I wouldn't have understood what you meant by you being disappointed with France in the first half, for a game of this magnitude I too was disappointed. The fight was more from Spain and they looked like the team that wanted this win the most. The first half wasn't good for France as they were technically down which wasn't what a lot of us has expected, and it's still not favouring the French side even in the second half, Spain is just getting better in the game playing with so much composure, confidence and getting the passes in simple taps. While I was thinking that France could make an equaliser the Spanish team just added an ice to the cake by adding a second goal to the score. Unfortunately right it's a 2 nil lead for Spain against France. The French rice right now is really tasting sour.

Spain is playing great. It was not expected from Spain to perform so well against France. Spain's performance is really administrative. They managed to score the first goal through a penalty but the second goal was scored by Pedro Porro in a very extraordinary way. This was due to France's carelessness. 2 nil i think this is a game over for France i was actually expecting a different game like 50/50 performance but up till this moment France still has 0 shots on target a scoreline of maybe France winning 2-1 or still 1-1 draw. I don’t think anyone who has bene watching Spain games will actually be surprised because let’s be realistic here Spain’s biggest strength is the midfield, they can surely keep the ball very well so the only thing actually taking them out of the game is scoring first so that they can open up more and France didn’t have that opportunity, that goal conceded was definitely going to cause France problems.

Now it has to be France coming out which opens up more space for the likes of Yamal to cause France problems and seriously with Saliba out injured France were just vulnerable at the back and that was what caused the second goal

France's performance is below expectations, sure but I think people underestimated Spain which seems bizarre to me since they are the current Euro Champions where they beat the very same France.

Honestly, this isn't the France we know. It was their worst performance I've seen at the 2026 World Cup. Their strategy was a mess, their attack was disorganized, and their defensive focus was broken, while Spain played with great discipline, maintained their rhythm, and read the tempo of the game well.

Actually after seeing the performance of France it seems that they were the weaker team here like it's remembering me the match between France and Morocco where we saw a good performance from the Morocco but that wasn't enough for win but France performed dominately.

Nothing to be dissapointed about,  errors are part of the game, they could have worked better on preventing another goal while still trying to get back in the game bur they were too focused on only one aspect .

They already conceeded three goals , that's bad for a game like this .

For me I just think France were just too terrible tonight, they are playing like they don't really want the win which is just simply crazy, with the kind of performance that they have put on, I never really expected them to play this poorly considering the fact that they know how this Spain team can hold the ball at the midfield area. France is not showing signs of even scoring even one goal tonight and it's because of the poor creativity by the French players unlike other games that they create lots of chances for the striker to utilize on.

Am so impressed with the performance of Spain tonight because i never expected that they will play France in such an intelligent way. The defense of Spain is in a magnificent form tonight, they are not allowing France to gain access. I can't believe that France is yet to get a shot on target. I don't think that France can do what Argentina did to Egypt by conceding 2 goals and coming from behind to win at full-time. The match has already approached 80 minutes so there is no hope for France which means that their world cup journey will end tonight. How i wish that England will just win Argentina so that we can have Spain versus England at the final.

I am also disappointed because I wanted France to win this semifinal match. I don't know if Deschamps has a clear plan for this game or if Luis de la Fuente has outsmarted him. My reason for saying this is that France looks weak and blunt. Spain might be good in defense, as we are seeing three players marking the French attackers. But I thought the French coach would have identified these tactics and come up with a good plan. France have struggled to get shots on target, and with this level of play, they might not be able to level up.
