It is a big upset, as I was also expecting France to dominate and win against Spain. They did not even dominate the match, and Spain was in full control of the match. 2-0 defeat in the semifinal is a significant win. I was expecting Argentina and France to play the final. Now it looks like Spain might play either Argentina or England in the final. England is not a team to be underestimated; they might defeat Argentina in the semifinals.

For me it was not an upset. I always considered Spain as a better team and the results matched my expectations. In the second semi-final also, I guess the same may happen. I didn't think France would be eliminated so easily. Spain played so well that they made France look like nobody in the match. Because the Spanish defenders really performed very solidly in this match. So this was really a very surprising match. I have never seen France in such a tensed and powerless situation but in this semifinal match against Spain they look so clueless after Spain scored the first goal and the second goal was a complete defensive error from France defenders. Spain was basically in control of the match till the 70th minute before France players started making attempts on Unai Simón who is Spain goalkeeper. I saw the frustration in France players namely Désiré Doué, Ousmane Dembele and Kylian Mbappe when they fired many shots, but it was either blocked by Spain defenders or Unai Simón makes a save.
    Kudos to Spain defenders because their defensive approach was topnotch. Mbappe didn't add any more goals after the 8 goals tie with Lionel Messi which means that if Messi can succeed to score just one goal against England, he will likely win the golden boot. Anyways, Mbappe won the golden boot last world cup in 2022 with 8 goals so he might not be worried if Lionel Messi wins his first world cup golden boot as well. Congratulations to Spain for reaching the final of the FIFA world cup while waiting for the result of Argentina versus England match which will be another epic match to watch today.

As I said before when I saw France too superior and too many income polls saw France without them realizing behind it all Spain made a lot of people surprised, and this is indeed a difficult match in rediction, to be honest I am a little strange with the way the French players play somehow they feel different, either the strategy is messy or indeed they are confused by The Players of Spain, 2-0 without reply is very unexpected we are friends, do you feel the same thing? although I support Spain for its probabilities beyond many people's more confident views on France last night.

Most of us surely find that result hard to believe, given that France was favored to win. Their squad is referred to by some communities as an edited squad due to the players impressive statistics. However, the reality is that even with a formidable squad, they lost to Spain, a more solid team.

However,, it's a shame Yamal couldn't score in this match. I would have loved to see him score more goals in this World Cup. Despite this,, Yamal played very well in this match.

At this point, I don't think we can expect any more from Yamal. He hasn't exactly been a goal predator for Spain, prior to the match against France, he had recorded only 1 goal & 2 assists. To be honest, I was quite shocked when Spain just made it look so easy to beat France which are recognized as one of the best national team in the World Cup. I was expecting both of these teams to put up a tough fight against each other but the whole match seems one sided as Spain pretty much dominated France in every aspects. The game between France and Spain was a very good game. I had bet on France to win, but unfortunately I lost my bet. Even so, I was very happy to have watched the game. Spain played very well, with a good defense, and didn't give France any space to play well. Mbappé didn't have much space. It was as if the Spanish players had studied him very well; of course, with so many games they've played against Mbappé in La Liga, they know his weaknesses. But the French coach made a mistake in not starting Désiré Doué. Anyway, it was the last game for the French coach; now we'll see if Zidane becomes France's coach.

The game was won tactically by the Spanish team, and the manager of France was the main culprit of this because he had no answer to the total dominance of the Spanish team in midfield, when he has someone like ngolo kante on the bench but he failed to bring him on to disrupt and carry the midfield of the French team that was just running around like a headless chicken throughout the game.

It wasn't a surprise for me either, I was confident about Spain, in fact before the match I wrote that I felt like Spain was winning due to their conservative style of play, furthermore my odds were slightly higher and I convinced myself to place the bet.

Before the match many people see Spain as the underdog in the game because France has been the best team in this tournament and i said it that no one should underestimate Spain because they are the only team that have a good defense and have conceded a single goal in this World Cup, Spain dominated the game and still defeated France with a good performance, What affect France yesterday is a midfield and defense, i stated that Kone should start the game over Tchoumeni if the coach want to win and he decided to start Tchoumeni and Tchoumeni is a defensive midfield that lack creativity, i knew him as a Real Madrid fan and what he is doing to affect the team.
