Are you a lone Sports Bettor or a Team Sports Bettor?

A lone sports bettor, in my opinion, is someone who does not rely on another person to interpret the odds and advise them which sporting event to wager on. Before placing a bet, the lone gambler conducts his own study and analysis.
 
In contrast, a team sports bettor, in my opinion, is a member of a betting community or group on Telegram, Facebook, or Twitter that is led by a self-described expert in sports betting. He or she chooses the game on which to make their wager after conducting the necessary research and analysis on their behalf.

I myself tend to be more single bettors because I can have more big profits.
Even though you have to study and analyze yourself, you can actually add knowledge and insight that can help you become more proficient in predicting and determining which one is better to place a bet in the future.
If you follow a team bettor, every analysis and prediction has a paid nature, whereas if you lose, then of course we blame the person who has given the prediction to bet, especially whether a bettor will continue to follow other people's analysis without studying it himself.
For a satisfactory result we must be able to step up and develop relying on ourselves.

Personally, I believe that a lone sports bettor is better at making their own predictions rather than blindly following others. Doing so can result in disaster because you might lose the bet or you might get lucky and win. Additionally, following other people's predictions can result in fraud because some people or platforms defraud people under the guise of making predictions.

The type of sports bettor I am depends on how lucky I feel.
Sometimes, if it is a team that I have much knowledge about, I go the lone bettor route.
Because I am confident of my analysis. I 7 out of 10 times, I am right.
I go the sports bettor route with some unfamiliar games. And I rarely do because with so many persons giving games, it is difficult to filter out the noise.

I personally belong to a telegram group with a better winning ratio to it's loss ratio but that doesn't mean that I don't do much research but most of my bets were mostly selected and decided by myself without getting any guides from any other place but lately after joining a telegram group and I was observing the winnings  in the group for over 4 months before giving it a trial but in all I do I make sure that I conduct my personal research and observation of those games before placing a bet in them because no one will be held responsible if you make a loss and everything is solely at our own risk.

I believe in one way or the other we might depends on some to get some books or bet predictions. We can not always be lone sport bettor if we are no introvert in nature. I know some persons that can find it very hard to meet people for there opinion about a particular bet than others that like similar opinions.
I do prefer it asking friends about what they feel about a particular game but this sometimes can be an odd opinion that can make one to have a change of mind ending up manipulating the bet.

Well, in as much as i am still a novice in sports betting, i still prefer to be the lone sports bettor that i am, i still think that relying on my experience in betting will push me to learning all that i need to learn about sports betting which in turn will turn me to the pro i wanna be in the future.
Relying on someone's knowledge of sports betting to help you decide your game play will not only cost you money in the form of subscription or fee for their service, this will also install laziness, emptiness and lack of direction, this simply means that any day the said expert is not found, or maybe he or she down with sickness and cant dish out the game as he or she normally does, all the gamblers that depend on him or her wont be able to play for that period of time the expert is not around.

Could neither be on the two but most of the time i would be considering myself to be a lone bettor and doesnt really mind about on things which other bettors been saying about their analysis and stuffs.
Just like on what most people been saying here that it would be more better if you are the ones who do make out such analysis and betting it basing on that which it wont really be that something
bad and incase you do lost that certain bet then you wont really be having that feeling of regret since you have lost on your own way and methods.Unlike when you do make out some

I'm more inclined to bet myself with a friend of mine to determine who will win. But if there is an opportunity to bet with the team then it is not a barrier. We only need to trust the team leader that the choice they have chosen is the best according to the analysis carried out. Many platforms provide team betting that allows us to bet small amounts.

I don't see the advantages and disadvantages if you are betting on your own or part of a betting group, but there's an edge if you are on both, you can analyze your own and at the same time check your group's analysis and compare it to yours so you can come out with the best possible results, you can either follow your own or if undecided use your group's tips and analysis.

Yes, you can always be a member of the group of the sportsbettors specifically for the sports you are interested with.
But it doesn't mean, you will always follow their suggestions because you are only getting their insights on certain event.
This is the same as reading the predictions of some sports sites, which I also do before I bet on certain sports.
Though I already have one in my mind, but reading others' opinions will give you outside perspective from yours.
In this case, I am more on a lone bettor but I do read opinions, discussions from others, just like also when you read discussions on sports in this forum.

Lone, definitely lone. I do not even check the odds before I make my assumption about the game and that is much better results so far for me. I look at what games there are this week, on 5 big leagues, and then I pick my games and the teams and I go and wager on them, sometimes I parlay them, sometimes I do individual bets and all but I know which games and which teams I am going to bet on without even knowing the odds.

If the odds show that the team I want to wager on is high underdogs and likely to lose, I don't care because there was a reason why I wanted to bet on them before knowing the odds, so I shouldn't change after I learned about the odds neither.

Relying on your own instinct and analysis as a gambler  is far richer as it makes you self reliant and builds your sense of judgement about the outcome of certain odds you would want to place a bet on. A team sport bettor will always stand on the fence towards taking a decision on prediction of any odd by himself except it comes from the group or team which his a member. And this drains and keeps you handicap as a gambler in relying on yourself to making rights predictions when your group or community has nothing more to offer.

I have been a lone sport bettor for long now after realizing that I make better predictions on odds than most of the groups or community of before betting tips claiming to be run by experts as most of them are just making prediction based on luck then a win might come through just like every other lone bettor does.

Experience is the best teacher, they say and that is true with regard to sports betting or anything else in life. I started to copy bets from my friends and learned from them as time goes by and started to make my own analysis which for me is a good thing since you are not depending on others as it is your money so better to have control over its future, win or lose.

I bet alone and I don't depend on anybody, I don't really like when am being controlled, I see no reason why I will gamble just because I see other people gambling, I do my analysis myself and I place my bet myself, some times I might be wrong, which I have to blame myself for that, why sometimes I will be right which I have to praise myself for that, if I lose I don't blame other people for my loss. Whenever you start depending on people to make decisions for you, then I think you are getting it wrong already.

I am definitely a lone sports bettor. I wouldn’t get any enjoyment from following someone else’s picks. For me, the fun is in being right about what will happen. Team betting would take that enjoyment from me. So I can say that I’ve never been a part of any gambling group or paid newsletter, or even a free newsletter. I'm not part of any group that dictates what they should bet on. I've got friends that have made it for themselves but they know each other, unlike those betting groups. It's like most of them are just like random folks on the web that has the same interest and that's betting.
I find that group not going to help me with my betting style and if I'll go into a group, I'll choose to join the group of my friends since all of us know each other and we're going to take care of each other's back and would have the same goal of at least having more chance of betting on a winning team and take the good odds.

I think that's not the definite meaning of a lone sports bettor - at least on how do I looked it from my own view.

These bettors are still relying on other advice and suggestions but the final decision is thru his final analysis and conclusion. In other words, these bettors are open to any suggestions but that was just a small percentage of its overall criteria when choosing a bet.

I believed most bettors here in the forum are doing their analysis and research on their own for me, group betting is not a good idea to be involved with even with how good those tipsters are. Still a good thing that we know and understand our bets rather than just following tipsters' advice.

I'm a lone wolf, I mean lone bettor. 

I don't want to blame someone if a signal or suggestion what to bet for has come into a result of loss. I just want to do it on my own so that no one will be blamed.

And I'm more confident doing it by myself because I'm the one who has made the decision and it's my money, so, "my money, my rules".

There is a thing called group betting in which a group of bettors will decide where to bet on and the funds at stake will come from each of them. A combined amount in order to have a decent bet. On the other hand, a lone bettor is a usual thing that we see here, doing bets on their own.

That's my definition of the subject and not how they placed their respective bets or referred to someone.

I also think that the team betting groups based on OP's description were most likely a paid service group by a tipster.
